IN THIS EPISODE: Divers venture into the world of the deep, observing seascapes and wildlife most will never witness for themselves. While divers often come across incredible life never seen before, fascinating them and us after seeing the photos, other diver encounters with the unknown leave a lasting impression due to their sheer terror. (Divers's Terrifying True Encounters With Underwater Monsters) *** One hundred years ago, the surge of interest in communicating with spirits challenged Judeo-Christian traditions, sparking the rise of spiritualism in the 19th century. This movement, ignited by the Fox sisters in 1848, blended science with faith and captivated millions across the United States and Europe. Despite skepticism and debunking efforts by figures like Harry Houdini, spiritualism's allure persisted, with some still practicing its methods even today. (Phantoms And Faith: The Rise of Spiritualism) *** Discovered in the Vologne River with his hands and feet bound, four-year-old Gregory Villemin's death led to chilling anonymous threats and a complex investigation. Despite numerous suspects and revived efforts, the true perpetrator of the 1984 murder remains elusive, leaving a family and a community still searching for justice today. (The Mysterious Murder of Gregory Villemin) *** In movies and TV shows, characters often emerge unscathed from being buried alive, but in reality, this ordeal can result in severe physical and psychological trauma. Survivors may need extensive therapy to regain basic functions like walking and speaking due to oxygen deprivation. We'll look at the chilling true horrors of live burials, with firsthand accounts that reveal the terrifying reality behind a fate worse than death. Arsenal fans have had a week to revel in their dramatic Champions League win against a stout Porto side, while down Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham fans are wondering what happened to their team during that same week. Cal and Rick are here to join in and discuss both teams and what the future's look like for each.2:45 But, first, Rick tries, unsuccessfully to teach Cal how to pronounce Ange Postecoglou.5:31 Cal (kinda) jumps right into discussing Arsenal's narrow win at the Emirates against a tough, skilled, and determined Porto side. It starts with an analyzation of Porto's style of play, continues into how it took a moment of brilliance to finally break through against them, and concludes with a discussion of the bravery shown by Arsenal's new keeper, and every Arsenal fans' new favorite player (at least through the international break) David Raya. Then Rick can resist bringing up Arsenal's participation in the upcoming Harry Kane Derby and relishing in him possibly sending the Gunners home in the Quarterfinals. Cal is not happy and has to "fire" back.38:10 Rick tells us what happened to guys that trotted out on the pitch against Fulham on Saturday (Rick doesn't want to call them Spurs). Rick looks at the contrast to the previous game, tries to explain the performance against Fulham (or at least rationalize it), discuss where Tottenham go from here. Then Cal can't resist playing a clip from Ange Postecoglou's post match press conference so Rick and analyze his comments. The ensuing process vs results discussion is quite fun.Thank you for listening!@ATFPodcast1@ATFPodcast2https://www.arsenaltottenhamfanpodcast.com

For the first time this season Arsenal find themselves top of the table, and, while Tottenham suffered their third straight defeat, they are still in fifth and only four points off Arsenal. We predicted the top of the table was going to be tight this season, but when four points separate first and fifth, it's squeaky tight!Has Arsenal found it's keeper? Or have they lost a keeper? Saturday's win over Brentford made a case for both actually. Cal and Rick fly into the penalty area with their takes on how Arteta has handled the Keeper situation for Arsenal this year, it's effect on Aaron Ramsdale, and what to make of Arteta's comments, or non comments, on this situation after the match. Cal discusses how good Bretford has been at home and how good of a win it was for Arsenal, what he learned, and what Arsenal could do to improve going forward.Meanwhile, down Seven Sisters Road, Rick is lamenting Tottenham's injury crisis and discusses how this affected Postecoglou's strategy for the match. They go further to discuss Son's (non) hat-trick, playing without any center backs, and which player has taken his game to the next level. Rick also talks about the "honeymoon period" for the new manager and how that also might be affecting his strategy and team selections. The podcast closes with a look forward to Tottenham's match against City and Arsenal's Champions League fixture against Lens and their Premier League match against Wolves. "Sp*rs may have a terrible record away from home in the North London derby – just one win in their last 30 matches – but Mikel Arteta isn't underestimating our neighbours, who are unbeaten in the league under new manager Ange Postecoglu. Unlike predecessors Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, the no-nonsense Australian has set about winning hearts and minds at the other end of the Seven Sisters Road and there's a feelgood factor around the club that few expected following the departure of Harry Kane for Bavaria." Fulham made a migration from the West to the North of the Capital for the second time in a week on Saturday to face Tottenham, and fell to the same fate as had happened to us down the Seven Sisters Road in Arsenal just seven days previously, losing by two goals to one. It wasn't vintage Fulham, and the first 45 in particular was a real struggle, but this side's plucky determination and dogged defending meant that we stayed in the contest right to the death - an endurance we're going to need this season in the Premier League if we're going to survive. We dissected the game for both positives and negatives. There were plenty of questions, ranging from safe standing to changes of system, and from debuts to the World Cup break; and we discussed also the potential ramifications of an injury to Antonee Robinson and Jay Stansfield's emotional loan return to Exeter City. On the 29th of October, 2004, a woman was seen jumping from the window of the 21st floor of Wembley Point, London, England. She was wearing a maroon bomber zip-up jacket with fabric cuffs, a black leather glove on her right hand and a very thin black polo neck jumper. Over the top of this, she wore a claret crew neck jumper. She wore black tights, trousers and black Sketchers boots with a zip and buckle on the sides. She wore a stud in the right ear and a watch with a black strap and silver face. She wore two rings: one white/silver metal ring on her right index finger (conch shell design) and a silver ring on her left little finger. In her possession she had; £5.20 in cash, an oil painting, a Guardian newspaper dated 29.10.04, a black carrier bag with clear lettering CPNY (Central Park, New York), a black disposable lighter, a used packet of 10 Marlborough cigarettes, a bus pass valid 26.10.04 to 01.11.04 issued at Seven Sisters Road station, Tottenham, London at 07.07 am.Who was she?In this compelling episode, we dive into this unidentified body case. This week Danielle talks about the murder of Marise Ann Chiverella. With the help of recent advancements in DNA testing and a 20-year-old genealogical expert, the cold case was finally solved after 58 years. Later, Sandra talks about the legend of the Seven Sisters Road in Nebraska, USA. The legend comes from two different versions. In one version a father gets mad and hangs all seven of his daughters on seven different trees. In another version of the tale it is not the father, but a brother who hangs his seven sisters. Although today there are only four hills remaining, people still have weird experiences when they visit that particular road. There is a road, an “old path” if you will, in southeast Nebraska. And according to the local lore, in the 1900s there were seven women who were murdered on this road. So this legend has been kind of circulating for more than a century so there are a ton of variations and add ons and honestly even more sightings and spooky occurrences. Lots of sevens in today's story: from seven sisters to seven hills. Stay safe out there. "The monster dug his claws into the hood of their car, the claws making a horrible screeching sound as they dented the metal. It used its grip to propel itself upward, jumping on the roof of the car with a loud, crunching thud. “Drive!” Lori screamed! This is it, Creeps and Peepers, the last episode of 2021!! We truly don't know how to thank you for making us one of the most successful horror podcasts out there! Are gratitude is real and your support means everything to us. We wish you and yours a healthy new year! In Dan's first story, we go to Aruba, Jamaica, ohhhhh I wanna take ya... WAIT. J/K! Just going to Aruba. A married couple takes a trip to reconnect and bring back the spark. All was going well until the final day of their trip. Jordan, the husband, insisted they leave on a late night flight and in order to make their flight. And to save time, they take a short cut. This short cut was the worst decision he made on that trip and it serves as a reminder to always trust your gut! Then off to Nebraska to Seven Sisters Road. A little road with a big history. A brother killed his seven sisters by luring them out, one at a time, to seven different hills where he hanged them. That energy seems to be hanging around to this day. A couple takes a short cut, just like the couple in Aruba, and will come to wish they hadn't!Lynze has 3 stories this week! Going out with a bang! Her first story is creepy BUT you need to look at the picture to really have it sink in as to why finding 20 wooden crosses in a clearing during a hike is so damn scary. Then in story two, we visit a family who has two ghost kids living in their house. They seem to be totally harmless until one night, which is always how it goes. This time though, the kids might be the only thing that can save them. And then wrapping up 2021, a story about an encounter in insane asylum during a routine training! “THE TERROR OF SEVEN SISTERS ROAD” and 3 More Terrible True Tales! #WeirdDarknessPlease SHARE Weird Darkness with someone who loves paranormal stories, true crime, monsters, or unsolved mysteries like you do! Recommending the show to others helps make it possible for me to keep doing the podcast! IN THIS EPISODE: There are many legends from Nebraska involving supernatural entities, but one of the eerier accounts out there is the story of Nebraska's haunted “L Street”. According to legend, seven women were murdered on the road in the 1900s. Ever since, the road and surrounding hills have been a rumored hotbed of paranormal activity. It's labeled as "L Street" on the map – but locals call it “Seven Sisters Road. (The Terror of Seven Sisters Road) *** The restaurant is a bit dated with the servers wearing old-fashioned black and white aprons. The food was incredible, the place was spotlessly clean. It's definitely a restaurant you'll want to visit again when you pass that way again. Unfortunately, the restaurant won't be there… because it never was. (The Restaurant That Disappeared) *** They say chivalry is dead, but that was not so in 1875. Standing up to someone on behalf of your wife was not only common, but expected… even to the point of murder. (Tragedy At Vineland) *** Hawaii's MacKenzie State Park boasts beautiful scenery, pleasant weather for outdoor activities like hiking and fishing, and is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. But when the sun goes down, MacKenzie Park reveals its truth… it is extremely haunted. FDR once said, “The only thing to fear is fear itself.” You know what we say to that? YOU try recording an episode of your ghost podcast on a haunted country road at dusk, MR. ROOSEVELT. That’s right, Maggie and Juli head to Seven Sisters Road from Episode 27. It was on this deserted and completely dark road where Maggie dishes us all the deets on Sauerkraut Cave and where Juli, the masochist, tells us car-themed urban legends. Buckle up and get ready for quite the ghostly ride.
Buckle up, because in this episode we hit the open road—two haunted roads to be exact. First, Maggie tells us all about Seven Sisters Road in Nebraska. This story of mysterious deaths will really grind your gears—literally. Next, Juli reverses us back to the 1930s to learn more about Resurrection Mary, a ghost just trying to find two things that most people are looking for on a Friday night: a man and a ride home.
In this weeks episode, Stalia takes us to Nebraska to Seven Sisters Road. What dark and haunting history gives this road and the surrounding hills their name? Such a grim past has left this area with many ominous happenings, including even possible monsters!! Listen to fund out more...
