It's a Thursday in Auckland, and you know what that means: Autumn is upon us. Or maybe Spring. Tim is pioneering a new way of assigning seasons to days of the week, and Guy has some opinions. Kura Forrester, fresh off the release of Bryn & Ku's Singles Club, is gearing up for a living arrangement at MICF that has genuine sitcom potential, which the boys relate to the only way they know how: by trying to figure out which one is the Samantha of the group.Get episodes early and in video on our Substack! This week The Spinoff hosted a galentines party at Q Theatre in Auckland to celebrate the release of Bryn & Ku's Singles Club, a six-part video series following two crack up comedians on their quest for love. Brynley Stent and Kura Forrester are both single and looking to change that. In Singles Club, they travel the country looking for love and speaking to all sorts of people about what it means to be single as you get older. The show is equal parts hilarious and heart-wrenching. After watching the first episode with a live audience, I spoke to Bryn and Ku for a live Behind the Story about making such a vulnerable show, the chaos of dating on camera, and whether or not the search for love was fruitful. The first episode of Bryn & Ku's Singles Club is out now on The Spinoff, Instagram and Youtube, with new episodes released every Tuesday. Learn more about your ad choices. My last job as a civilian was working on educational research projects for an exam board, and the very last thing I did there was a trial of innovative maths teaching methods in schools. Which isn't something you'd expect to hear about on this podcast, but we get pretty close to it in my conversation with former Hard Wax counterman Tallmen785 as his current area of work combines the teaching of music and maths to kids in an interesting way.You may be familiar with Tallmen techno jams, but Brian Mitchell originally trained to a high level in Jazz guitar. His move from the US to Berlin took him to SUB:STANCE parties and complete change of his musical outlook. We discuss all of the above, as well as the joy of record store work, and revisiting the topic of theory in electronic music. This week is a two-part episode, and after the conversation we dive into a Singles Club-esque format featuring the top 10 streamed Taylor Swift tracks, as requested by Janetpak in the Discord. Are you single? Do you know anyone who is single? If so, this is the episode for you! She is a local entrepreneur and on this episode we talk about the Single Mixers she has put together making a SAFE PLACE for singles to come out and meet other singles. We also talk about her very own Singles Club that will launch January 2022. I ask her questions that others have DM'd her or myself regarding the single mixers so be sure to listen to this episode for those answers, clarification on age range, and pricing. She also provides you with tips if you are interested in attending her events but have not been to one. This is new to El Paso and I am so happy to share this with you all. THE BANDAID CAME OFF, AND THE WOUNDS WERE BURNING. Eden looses a tooth and Simona welcomes her to the Singles Club for the first time EVER. In today's episode, we go through the struggles we have and are currently facing in our single life, while also exploring all that we have learned and have yet to learn. We get vulnerable about feeling lonely, our bandaid boyfriends, unhealthy distractions, and the external pressures of getting into a relationship. Will we die alone? And so what if we do? We flip the bullshit idea of “singleness” on its stupid head and give you the inspiration you need to survive, thrive, and embrace this chapter, or this WHOLE NOVEL. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/urblocked/message

Felicia is unfortunately not with us anymore and it breaks my heart. But, I'm keeping it the same and adding a pinch of raunchy to it. New Episode this week, stay tuned.
Las canciones que aparecen en este programa son: Where the Lines Overlap Grow Up Playing God In the Mourning Misguided Ghosts Hard Times Careful 26 Let the Flames Begin Part II Last Hope Enlace a mi página de Youtube
