Alfred Slomp geeft de workshop ‘God in de supermarkt' en heeft twee boeken geschreven over duurzame keuzes maken. Hij deelde zijn ervaringen en lessen van al deze workshops en hoe we de kloof tusseen ‘wat we vinden' en ‘wat we doen' kunnen verkleinen. We hebben het gehad over de Big 5 van een duurzaam leven, over hoe je als individu kunt meewerken aan systeemverandering, en over het verschil tussen hoop en optimisme. Onze twaalfde gast in de podcastserie ‘Groene wegen' is Alfred Slomp (1978) uit Veenendaal. Hij werkt als teamleider in het voortgezet speciaal onderwijs en kreeg landelijke bekendheid dankzij het boek ‘SuperWaar', over alle lastige keuzes in de supermarkt. Niet alleen op gebied van milieu en klimaat, maar bijvoorbeeld ook rondom dierenwelzijn en rechtvaardigheid (lees: moderne slavernij). Hoe duurzaam is biologische kip? Hoe erg is het om in de wintermaanden sperziebonen ‘in te vliegen' vanuit Afrika? En kunnen we nog wel pinda's en hazelnoten eten, gelet op kinderarbeid? Over dit soort vragen houdt Alfred ook workshops en dan met name in kerken. Want hij komt naar eigen zeggen ‘uit de christelijke hoek'. Toch heeft hij het steeds moeilijker met de positie van de kerk rondom klimaat en duurzaamheid. Ook daarover vertelt hij uitgebreid in het openhartige gesprek. De workshops van Alfred heten 'God in de supermarkt' en 'God in de klimaatcrisis'. Zijn boeken zijn getiteld ‘SuperWaar' en ‘Het Groene Normaal'. Alfred is getrouwd, heeft drie kinderen en maakt regelmatig een wandeling met plaatsgenoot Carla Dik-Faber. Inderdaad; zij was onze gast in aflevering 10. Kortom: een klein wereldje. Nosso tema de hoje é Homeschooling – pedagogia do amor. Em meados do mês de maio, do corrente ano, teve destaque o caso da estudante Elisa de Oliveira Flemer, de 17 anos, que foi aprovada engenharia civil na Escola Politécnica da USP (Universidade de São Paulo) com a 5ª melhor nota do ENEM, mas foi proibida pela Justiça de cursar por fazer homeschooling. Em contrapartida, ganhou uma bolsa para fazer um curso de curta hduração no Vale do Silício, na Califórnia, e um convite para estágio, ambos nos Estados Unidos. O convite foi feito por uma empresa, que se comprometeu a custear todos os gastos da estudante durante o período do curso, que tem duração de uma semana. Além disso, a empresa também ofereceu um curso online para Business Administration (administração de empresas) em uma faculdade dos Estados Unidos e convidou a estudante para ingressar no seu grupo de estagiários. Sabemos que o Homeschooling é um tema polêmico que gera discussões no meio educacional, político e jurídico, inclusive sendo objeto de discussão no STF. Mas, em tempos de relativismo moral, ideologia de gênero e linguagem neutra, dentre outros fatores, a prática tem sido alavancada. Porém, o objeto de nosso encontro de hoje não é discutir o tema sob o ponto de vista legal ou jurídico, mas sim da sua percepção prática. Assim, e para tratar do tema HOMESCHOOLING – Pedagogia do Amor, tenho a alegria de receber o casal de amigos: Márcio e Jerusa.
