Today returning on Sense of Soul we have Padma Aon Prakasha he is an evolutionary catalyst and wisdom author bringing together ancient wisdom and modern science. Padma's books, music and multimedia are drawn from the traditions he has been initiated into. His books include: The Power of Shakti, Womb Wisdom, Sacred Relationships (Inner Traditions), The Christ Blueprint, The Nine Eyes of Light: Ascension Keys from Egypt (NAB/Random House), Dimensions of Love, Shiva's Hologram: The Maheshwara Sutra and The Science of Sound (O Books). Since 1997 he has presented, lectured and taught in 20 countries worldwide. After being initiated into the Brahmin lineage at age 4, he read the Bhagavad Gita followed by the Bible at age 7 and a whole host of spiritual teachings by age 11. When he was 21 he had an experience of the AUM and God Consciousness that changed his life forever, followed by a direct and unexpected meeting with Christ Yeshua. Shortly after this, Padma was initiated in India through a Near Death Experience in Badrinath by Master Babaji, and into the Saivite Lineage in Kedarnath. Further Initiations into Saivite Tantra and the RK Veda through the Arunachala Sampradaya and Ganesha followed. Padma was also Initiated into Tibetan Tantras through female teachers Prem Prabhuta and Margot Anand, and is an Initiate in the Order of Melchizedek. Padma's most powerful ‘formal' Initiations came through Sri Om, an Awakened teacher in London from the Lineage of Buddha Maitreya, associated with the enlightened wisdom of many traditions. After this, Padma sat in Samadhi, the highest form of bliss meditation, for two months, 16 hours a day. Samadhi activates the pineal gland and many dormant gifts within us, which Padma then demonstrated through his numerous books, workshops and transmissions over the ensuing years. https://padmaaon.com Visit www.senseofsoulpodcast.com

Sri Krishna Prem: A Wing and a Prayer is an in-depth, spiritual biography of a British fighter pilot (WW I), Ronald Nixon (1898-1965). Raised in an intellectually vibrant family, educated at Cambridge, he had a religious experience during one of his flights as a RAF pilot, and when the war ended, he embarked on a religious/philosophical journey that carried him to India, first as a university professor, and then into the religious world of his mentors, the university's vice-chancellor, G.N. Chakravarti and his wife, Monica (Yashoda Mai). Initiated by Yashoda Mai, he joined a movement celebrating the 16th century saint and reformer, Sri Krishna Chaitanya (1486-1533) and helped establish the still-functioning Mirtola ashram. Along the way he studied Theosophy and Buddhism and towards the end of his life developed a philosophy of his own that, though based on the religious traditions and philosophies he practiced and studied, was more universal in scope than the traditions he was formally connected with. Chapple's deep research succeeds in introducing readers to a wide cast of historically important religious figures, often with "warts and all." Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode, we are joined by Philiswa Makhaye, a traditional Zulu healer from South Africa. Initiated as a Sangoma at the age of 12, Philiswa has dedicated her life to ancestral communion, intergenerational healing and ancient earth-based spiritual wisdom. This conversation offers a rare glimpse into animistic spirituality, free from the limiting frameworks of non-animist worldviews. It continues a thread of enquiry explored in a recent episode with Dr Andy Letcher, who highlighted the animistic discourse as one of the most disruptive to the reductionist Western paradigm. Through Philiswa's insights, we delve into the deep relationality between the land, the ancestors and the healing traditions that have traversed across generations and cultures.Philiswa's presence at this year's Medicine Festival left a lasting impression, particularly during a powerful collective ceremony for peace, where wisdom keepers from around the world offered prayers from each cardinal direction. Her songful prayer, graciously recorded for this episode, is woven into the conversation - a gift to carry in your bones. For those who wish to experience the full, uninterrupted recording of Philiswa's prayer, it is uploaded on our patreon, available for all listeners. Additional meditations and resources are also available for those who wish to support the show. We have recently launched a free hour-long workshop on embodied deep ecology. The document provides an analysis of the threat posed by terrorist-initiated arson attacks on Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) areas, emphasizing the simplicity and destructive potential of such actions. It highlights that WUI communities, home to nearly 40% of U.S. residences, are increasingly at risk due to their proximity to wildlands. The report outlines past examples of terrorist organizations, including ISIS and Al-Qaeda, promoting arson as a tactic and provides insights into tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for conducting such attacks. To mitigate these risks, the document suggests enhanced coordination among agencies, community preparedness measures, use of technology for early detection, and public education campaigns. It also stresses the importance of integrating fire services into intelligence cycles and improving investigative capabilities. For response efforts, it recommends prioritizing safety, efficient evacuation plans, and maintaining strong command and control using systems like ICS.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:124s_-_Mitigating_the_Threat_of_Terrorist-Initiated_Arson_Attacks_on_Wildland-Urban_Interface_Areas.pdf

Whenever I (or one of my guests) introduces the concept of male initiation, it's met with skepticism, at best, and a level of immense disdain and vitriol, at worst. But why is it that men struggle so much with the concept of initiation, that is to say that a man must learn from other men what it means to be a man and be held accountable to maintain his moral duty to protect, provide, and preside? My guest today, Jake Hamilton, makes the case for male initiation drawing on ancient initiations in some of the most remote locations on the planet. We talk about how to harness a man's sexual desire towards productive outcomes, what the lowest form of a man's identity is, where the patriarchy falls short, integrating your “shadow” (something Jung unpacks deeply), the difference between working toward the greater good and the common good, and how a man answers his own internal desire to be respected and desired.
