I recently heard one of my favorite author/speakers use a phrase in random conversation that I could not get off my mind. I was listening to HIS podcast and scribbled a note while driving so would not forget. The phrase he used was “NET THAT butterfly” in reference to not allowing our thoughts to run away with us. That visual image has stuck in my head now for weeks. Stinking thinking tends to be a dangerous downfall of mine if I am not very careful and intentional about NOT allowing that to happen.In the fast-paced world we live in, our minds are often buzzing with a flurry of thoughts, opinions, and arguments. It's as if our brains are a never-ending butterfly garden, with thoughts fluttering about like delicate butterflies, each one vying for our attention. 2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV, that invites us to bring order to that fluttering chaos: "We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ."This verse presents a powerful imagery of netting butterflies – capturing and subduing our thoughts for the purpose of aligning them with Christ's will. Let's pause today to consider what it means to "net the butterfly" in the context of our everyday lives.FREE PDF in Permission to Pause Deeper Dive on my website!Thank you for joining me on today's Permission to Pause. We’re Live. John is planning on taking a trip to finish off his training for the 100-mile marathon that he’s planning to do. A Whole month just to get your body adapted to the high altitude that he’s going to be facing on this marathon.   On Other Topics, Chuck landed a great sponsorship from a big-name company, but being honest he wasn’t expecting that.   The main recommendation from the guys to Chuck, it’s to be smart with this. There are certain decisions that Chuck cannot be made lightly. just in case everything goes south.   Toughts of the week   John “You have to cut those costs, you have to cut those production costs and have a reserve in order to make things right.

We’re Live. New strategies are arising regarding Affiliate Marketing. Chuck is testing out some new stuff on Podcast episodes, also John Is trying a new approach too. It seems to me that there’s no end to the possibilities of this type of marketing. Although, the guys agreed there’s one best way to do it.   In Other Topics, Chuck is still working things out to ake his Podcast Network self sustainable, lots of ups and downs, new people are coming in.
