The Morning Footy crew discuss Alex Morgan's final professional soccer match that took place over the weekend. After suddenly announcing her retirement as well as delivering the news she was pregnant with her second child, she stated that his past Sunday's match would be her last. She played just 13min and did have an attempt at goal from the PK spot, which ultimately was saved by NC Courage goalkeeper and USWNT teammate Casey Murphy. However, that did not damper any good vibes as she took her shoes off in the center circle to a standing ovation and hugs from her teammates when just before she ultimately was subbed off.
