1997 or 1974? Two iconic tours to South Africa, but which one ranks higher? In the final episode of our top 10 series, Lions legends Jamie Roberts and Matt Dawson join Chris to rank the best tours of all time. We ask Jamie to rate his two tours - the 2013 win in Australia and the epic series against South Africa in 2009. We debate what makes a great tour - is it all about winning the Test series or are there other factors that determine success? And where does the only Lions series win against the All Blacks feature in our list?

What a match! The second Test in Melbourne had everything – drama, comebacks, grit and fight as the Lions fought hard to beat a much improved Wallabies side by 29 points to 26 – to take the series victory, meaning they have won a series for the first time in 12 years. Chris is joined by Lions rugby royalty – Matt Dawson, Andy Nicol and Jamie Roberts - live from a bar with all the on the whistle reaction. Andy wishes Australia played like that in the first Test, for Matt it was a match that had him on the edge of his seat and for Jamie it was one of the greatest Test matches… ever! The guys debate that and so much more – including the brilliant performances from Itoje, Russell, Kinghorn, Aki, Gibson-Park and Morgan to name but a few! They also chat what didn't go to plan for the Lions in the first half and why Australia were so class. But one thing they all agree on is that this was a ‘magic' Test match and the Wallabies finally came to the party!

This week on the KOKO Show we come to you from the glorious confines of the MJ Bale flagship store in Martin Place, Sydney. The lads are dressed to impress with some silky threads that lift the spirits and allow the human form to podcast like they have never podcasted before, all thanks to MJ Bale. We have arrived ladies and gentlemen, the first Test Match between the Lions and the Wallabies is soon upon us and the KOKO Crew couldn't be more up and about at the prospect of two great teams doing battle at Suncorp Stadium. To help us along this joyous journey, we have enlisted the help of two very special guests. The first has played over 90 caps for Wales and he was one of the brave men that took down the Wallabies in 2013, it is none other than Dr Jamie Roberts and the other is triple international, cross-code footy legend and rugby media's leading lady Allana Ferguson. Jamie joins the lads for the first half of the show to muse and discuss how both sides will shape up and prepare this week leading into the first Test. We discuss potential tactics, predicted sides and what the Lions will do to navigate this growing laundry list of injured players. Plus, ‘The King' sticks around to give us his ‘Perfect Pour' from the weekend just gone, all thanks to our headline sponsor Guinness, as well as playing a little game of ‘Which Lion Was it Anyway?'We have always said, when one guest leaves you replace them with someone better. Step to the fore Allana Ferguson. All thanks to our great friends at TAB, Allana joined the show to crunch the odds heading into the first Test Match this Saturday in Brisbane. Plus, she unleashes her depth of knowledge to give us a full wrap of the Wallaroos' encouraging loss to the Black Ferns in Wellington and how the ladies are shaping up with the Rugby World Cup on the horizon this August. So in summation, it is time to bloody lock in. We have waited 12 long years to get our chance at revenge against this crimson clad gaggle of geezers and let's not let this one slide. They have taken over our beaches, booked up our restaurants and are smugly drinking our beer. But they will never take our podcast! It is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on The KOKO Show we have an absolutely smashing episode for you all. The lads are joined by the two Aussie British and Irish Lions Tourees, Mr Mack ‘Daddy' Hansen and Mr Sione ‘The Scot' Tuipulotu. We broke down with the boys, what it felt like to join this illustrious club, where they were when they got the news and which Australian watering holes they will be attending alongside their band of bad losers. Plus, we analysed and dissected the complete 2025 British and Irish Lions Squad with a fine tooth comb, as we tried to poke holes in their approach, highlight their weaknesses and work out how the Wallabies will win the series 3-0. Moreover, with all this hubbub about a certain red army approaching our shores, it would be easy to lose sight of all the cracking footy action happening right here in Australia and New Zealand. That is right, fear not our soggy and sodden Southern Hemisphere heroes, this week we give you all the major takeaways from round 13 of the Superb Rugby, the highs and lows of the Wallaroos' Pac 4 campaign and a smattering of juicy rugby news from around the world. Finally, the KOKO Crew are back to work hitting the whiteboards and breathing in the sweet nectar of alcohol based cleaning products in the hope of constructing an Aussie squad akin to the ‘Locked in Lions', that we are calling ‘The Lion Tamers'. The fellas will be picking four Australian players each week to join the noble ranks of ‘The Lion Tamers', with the sole ambition of crushing these pompous touring tea tossers. Thanks to the Discover Hong Kong (Hong Kong Tourism Board), Cathay Pacific and Ovolo Hotels for giving the show another phenomenal experience of lifetime. This tour will most certainly go down in the KOKO history books as a rip roaring success, we went to the Hong Kong Football Club for a night of laughs with Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode, had a day of childish laughs on the rides at Ocean Park Hong Kong, enjoyed some delicious food With Virginia Chan, took in sights and sounds of the Pottinger Street Market and we soaked up all the seriously spicy rugby action from the 10s and the 7s across the week. With the Hong Kong Sevens entering a new era at the sleek, sparkling and simply sensational Kai Tak Sports Park the balance between nostalgia and reinvention was perfectly on point. Due to the allure of the all new Hong Kong Sevens, throughout the weekend, the boys were joined by an array of rugby royalty including Bryan Habana, Alicia Quirk, Jamie Roberts and the aforementioned ‘Big Jim and Goodey'. Plus, we were allowed into the bowels of Kai Tak Stadium to see how the teams prepare in their brand new digs and we cap off the episode with a dash of debauchery, in our newest instalment of the ‘KOKO Carnage'. This show is the perfect blend of naughty and nice, showcasing the eternal struggle of which side will come out on top. However, ladies and gentlemen the answer is simple, KOKO always finishes on top. For another year the beauty and vibrancy of Hong Kong is regrettably now in the rear vision mirror, but as we build through 2025 and navigate the British and Irish Lions as well as all the other international fixtures around the world, this little pod will always have one eye on the ‘Pearl of the Orient'.So sit back, relax, deactivate the secret Airtags you had on your loved ones who attended the Sevens (in our case Holiday Swoop) and simply revel in the beauty that is KOKO on tour. Outside of the academics and activists whose ideology came to dominate the West in the second decade of the twenty-first century, arguably no group influenced public discourse as much as the Intellectual Dark Web. Challenging the intellectual and cultural orthodoxies that engulfed universities, the media, and big tech, this group—a loose collective of politically diverse intellectuals, commentators, and scholars critical of political correctness, identity politics, and cancel culture—relied on alternative platforms like podcasts, digital magazines, and YouTube to promote free speech, universal rights, and individual liberty. While the term is most commonly identified with Sam Harris, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Bret and Eric Weinstein, and Joe Rogan, the group's concerns and philosophy extended more broadly to include a wide range of individuals who helped mainstream critiques of “woke” culture and a robust defense of free speech, including Steven Pinker, Michael Shermer, Jonathan Haidt, Dave Rubin, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and Stephen Fry. The Intellectual Dark Web's coherence began to unravel in the early 2020s due to internal differences (such as over the response to COVID-19 and climate change), and its full legacy and historical impact are yet to be determined. Jamie Roberts is a lecturer in the Department of Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney. His new book is The Intellectual Dark Web: A History (and Possible Future).

A later-in-life diagnosis of a neurodivergent condition can be a catalyst for great relief after years of searching for answers and feeling a bit different as well as invoke grief over the shift in identity, the years of not knowing, a new understanding of limitations, and changes that this understanding might bring. In this episode, Patrick Casale and Dr. Megan Anna Neff, two AuDHD mental health professionals, talk with Jamie Roberts, the founder of Equilibrium Counseling Services, about the complex and deeply personal aspects of neurodiversity, identity, and self-discovery. Top 3 reasons to listen to the entire episode: Discover the nuances of neurodivergent identities, including the double-edged sword of attaching to a diagnosis, and how the need for constant curiosity shapes personal and therapeutic growth. Unveil the emotional layers of neurodivergent discovery and the balance of relief and grief that come with diagnoses later in life. Explore the authentic paths of unmasking and setting boundaries after life-altering events, highlighting the transformative power of embracing one's true neurodivergent self in both personal and interpersonal dynamics. The discovery of being neurodivergent can lead to a mix of emotions and more questions on top of the answers, but by further exploring your neurodivergent identity, you can find normalizing relief, a sense of community, and start to find your authentic self beyond the mask. More about Jamie: Jamie Roberts is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and the founder of Equilibrium Counseling Services, a teen and young adult mental health center in Southern California. ECS, is a place where all identities and brains are celebrated, with the goal of building confidence in identity, and reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety. Is a franchise a blessing or a burden? Running Scared co-hosts Robert Lendrum and Jamie Roberts take apart the latest edition in the Exorcist franchise and look at how it echoed and subverted the original classic film from 1973. It gets heated between Rob and Jamie when we ask the big questions. Was scripted racial tension edited out of the final cut? Did the opening scene echo the original or subvert it? Do our expectations bog down our read of this film, or are we looking for fan service? Does Priest "Wild Thing" Vaughn save the day in the ninth inning?  Or does it take a community of spiritual healers to take on Panzuzu? Why does Rob keep calling him Panzu and Blumhouse "Bloom house"? Equilibrium Counseling Services, her group practice, works specifically with LGBT+ and neurodivergent teens and young adults to help discover and understand their identity. Jamie is passionate about supporting young people and being for them the person she needed when she was younger.  Key Takeaways:  - If you're looking for a diagnosis, allow yourself to be curious and ask why - Pay attention to and lean into how you best communicate and work - As a clinician working with neurodivergent clients, consider: sensory needs, what does it look like for rules and boundaries to be equitable vs equal across clients, be upfront about what your systems look like - If you don't say the hard things, clients don't know it's okay to talk to you about the hard things   https://equilibriumcs.com/ https://www.facebook.com/EquilibriumCounseling/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT6FubczAj4gWMkqC8k1WKA https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100093169156031 https://www.instagram.com/neurodivergenttherapist/?fbclid=IwAR2thUVFx31oIegXcTOPeHxyq-Bd3KmdlU7uHRmUQE8dh_biW46qRXFppFw https://www.tiktok.com/@neurodivergenttherapist --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/compassionate-climb/message

Uh oh. Co-hosts, Robert Lendrum and Jamie Roberts disagree on the realism of the teenage horror drama "Talk to Me". Twin brothers Danny and Michael Philippou make their directorial debut on this highly praised modern-day take on the ouija board, in which teens use the severed hand of a median to get high and converse with the dead!
