The short answer is yes, your business and website do need SEO to gain organic traffic and visibility. However, there is more to it than just this. The purpose of SEO is to grow your business or organisation by getting more qualified users to visit your website and convert it into customers. Another point to consider is what your business goals are. Are you looking to support your existing client base or grow your business? Maybe it's both? When you get clear on your goal, you can carefully select your efforts in terms of budget and time. For more on this, take a listen to the latest podcast episode and jump on over to Let's Get Visible for show notes.
Health, Happiness and Hashimotos is the topic we are chatting about on the podcast today with Kirsty King. She is a gut health-obsessed naturopath on a mission to make the world a healthier and happier place. This episode gets personal. When health became my top priority in 2020 after having an ever-growing list of symptoms with an unknown cause, I felt completely lost. I reached out to Kirsty after seeing her educational and informative posts on Social Media. I am so glad I did! Her own naturopathy journey began after suffering from health issues. Thankfully she was introduced to a naturopath, which began her gut healing journey and interest in health, food as medicine and natural therapies. As business owners, we don't always take the time to stop and listen to what our bodies are telling us. And when we don't, it can have a detrimental impact on our health and happiness. I hope this episode shines a light on making your health a priority, not an afterthought. Head to Let's Get Visible for show notes and to connect with Kirsty.
Not all businesses and organisations want to outsource their digital marketing activities to an SEO consultant or agency. An internal marketing officer is living and breathing the ins and outs of how you operate, what products you may sell and what services you offer. Having this insider knowledge is a good idea for many of those reasons. With this though comes the need to be the jack of all trades. From email marketing campaigns to traditional marketing tasks, it can be difficult to join the dots and make all channels work holistically. An effective way to maximise your efforts is by engaging specialists to support your current marketing strategy. For show notes and more episodes head to Let's Get Visible.
User intent is the reason behind searches made on Google. SEO involves understanding what your target audience wants and searches for. This is a vital requirement in search engine optimisation. When you shift your focus from only keywords to also creating content that meets the intent of the users, you increase your chances of performing well organically in search engines. Take a listen to my latest podcast episode on this topic, to help you better understand the power of harnessing user intent. For show notes head on over to Let's Get Visible.

Let's Get Visible Podcast | Episode 5 - Today I'm talking about the power of saying NO. This is an interesting and sometimes confusing topic for many small business owners. When we launch our own services or start selling our own products, we can go into YES mode, saying yes to all of the things, saying yes to all of the opportunities because we don't know how to say no. I am raising my hand here and admitting that for a long time - most of my life, I have been a people pleaser. Even if their suggestion or offer would put me on the back foot, I would still say yes. And looking back, I think that's a little insane. When you say yes to things that are not meant for you, what you are essentially doing is also saying no to the things that are. Hit the play button and take a listen.
