Dear high-achieving people, this one's for you.  You are the individuals who light up the world with your passion and zest for life. But there's a thin line between being driven and obsessive. It's so easy to fall into the inability to accept where we are now as we chase after the next accomplishment. Brandi Molitor aims to help energetic go-getters like you recognize your values, realign your life, and slowly enjoy the fruits of your labor. She joins us to share actionable tips and insights that you need to hear now! Tune in to this episode: Why We're Obsessed with the Next Rung of Achievement with Brandi Molitor Key points covered in this episode:  ✔️ Detach yourself from the outcome. Identify the root of your desire. What are you hoping for when you get there? What will it mean if you fail? Accomplishing your goal isn't going to fill the void or fulfill your unaddressed need to be loved and appreciated.  ✔️ Check how you're showing up daily. Have you been taking care of yourself? Focus on what lights you up about your work and how you've been treating yourself. Let go of imaginary milestones – you get to set the rules.  ✔️ Break out from the blueprint by asking why. Media has conditioned us to pursue the typical image of success: a house, kids, and a high-paying job. Look at your goals through a judgment-free lens and think: Is this what you truly want?  ✔️ Walk yourself through the worst-case scenario. What would you do if you were unsuccessful in reaching your goal? What's the worst thing that could happen? Getting a clear idea will give you an objective view of what you'd have to deal with should the worst happen.  ✔️ Not everyone is the best person to talk to about difficult decisions. Choose someone who is skilled in holding a safe conversation. A community or coach can see things through an outsider's lens and give healthy feedback. Brandi Molitor is a white, queer woman who is committed to living a life of truth. She works with high-achieving folks who want to align with their core desires and alleviate their frustration and confusion, bringing them closer to peace and clarity. Why Nice Guys Don't Get What They Want (and What To Do About It) with Ashley Cox

There's no denying it. Nice guys are toxic. Take it from emotional analysis and resolution coach Ashley Cox, who's been working with nice guys in taking back their personal power. Men get stuck in this unhealthy archetype in response to unattended childhood trauma and unmet needs. While it's impossible for women to force their male-bodied partners to change, they can make decisions that benefit the relationship while transforming it by showing up with more authenticity and honesty. Tune in to this episode: Why Nice Guys Don't Get What They Want (and What To Do About It) with Ashley Cox Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Be in touch with your rage and pain and get comfortable with it. Nice guys are afraid of becoming a threat. So they let go of taking charge. Ashley Cox advises men to be the protector against bad men, their partner's self-sabotage, and their own unaddressed trauma. ✔️ Be a safe place for your man to express himself authentically. Instead of poking his buttons, explore your disruptive behaviors that block him from showing his real self. Be vulnerable — go first.  ✔️ Appreciate your partner's efforts! Men and women are wired differently by nature. If you see your man being receptive and trying, don't forget to praise him for that. ✔️ Women have more power than they realize. Not recognizing and disrespecting their efforts can hurt men emotionally and physically. In the end, both of you want connection. Work on building safety for it to happen! Many women want an emotionally connected man but most of us aren't ready to fully receive one. It's time to find ways to soften up and own your role in the relationship and give him space to show up for you. Ashley Cox MT, CTP-C, NLP is the first and only female international emotional analysis and resolution coach for ‘nice guys'. She guides 'nice guys' to use their unreciprocated relationship to create personal power and more wealth. In addition to getting and keeping their dream women, her clients have collectively generated millions of dollars from regaining their executive function and confidence after tackling subconscious blocks of fear, doubt, shame, guilt, anger, self-love deficit disorder, and pain with her. In today's world, the definition of femininity is being reshaped. Power dynamics in our relationships are shifting, and with that shift we need to reconsider how we approach women's success and leadership. Renowned transformational executive coach and feminine leadership advocate Ekene Onu shares that authentic femininity is not about conforming to societal expectations but about embracing one's true self.  "Iconic womanhood" is about rising above the noise and redefining what it means to be a woman in a powerful position. Tune in to this episode: Soft and Strong with Ekene Onu Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Successful women, especially those in male-dominated fields, often face a 'social penalty'. This makes them downplay their achievements to fit into societal norms. Rather than performative femininity, it's time to advocate for genuine self-expression.  ✔️ Masculinity is not about diminishing or overshadowing femininity. When men understand their noble role, they uplift and empower the women around them, and vice versa. ✔️ The dangers of perceiving femininity as merely ornamental. Femininity is not about just being looked at or adored; it has depth, purpose, and strength. ✔️ Masculine and feminine energies are not strictly tied to gender. It's about how we show up. While masculine energy is often seen as a boulder (strong and focused), feminine energy is like a flowing river (creative and intuitive). ✔️ Leadership attributes often ascribed to femininity such as nurturing, creativity, and intuition are powerful tools. They can be leveraged in business scenarios like project management, innovation, and gut-based decisions. Ekene Onu is a Transformational Executive Coach, DEI consultant and Feminine Leadership expert. Following a career of two decades in as a healthcare professional, she reinvented herself and underwent a personal revolution to reclaim her feminine power and choose to create a life of passion & purpose. She received her training from several notable institutions, such as Georgetown University and Cornell University. Her unique holistic style of executive coaching supports the whole leader and her clients increase performance and feel more connected, happy and engaged, and find deep meaning in their work. Through these initiatives, she has built a community of intentional women who are profitable and purposeful. Welcome to the 100th episode of my podcast! It's amazing looking back at all the wonderful conversations we've had and seeing this show evolve from just being about relationships to how we relate ourselves with the world. Let me walk you through how our lives are all about optimizing my relationships from lessons I've learned working with a dog behaviorist. I assure you, this is going to be a juicy and eye-opening one! Tune in to this episode: Celebrating 100 Episodes with the 3 B's of Relationship Dynamics Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Consider what role you need to step into for the relationship. Does the moment call you to be a buddy, butler, or a boss? Rethink how you show up in both personal and business connections. ✔️ Your union is a separate entity. If it feels wonky, one or both of you could be out of alignment with it. Sit side by side and observe it from an objective lens. Identify what the union needs in that certain situation. ✔️ Serve the relationship, not the person. Seeing it this way allows you to have clarity around habitual pitfalls in your relationships and makes you self-aware of how you're presenting yourself. ✔️ There's power in recalibration. You don't need to chameleon yourself and sweep issues under the rug. Develop the skill of knowing and being flexible in giving what your relationships need.   ————————————————————————————————   ★★★ About Marie-Elizabeth Mali ★★★ Marie-Elizabeth is the founder of Relationship Alchemy, where she helps growth-oriented women develop clarity and alignment with themselves and their vision, so they can attract or deepen their relationship with their ideal partner and create a fulfilling life without compromising who they are.  ★ TAKE THE “YOUR GROWN-ASS POWER” QUIZ ★ For passionate women having a “Now what?” moment who are ready to turn on their unapologetic power. http://relationshipalchemy.com/power-quiz As a Relationship Alchemist, two-time TEDx Speaker, and host of the Relationship Alchemy podcast, Marie-Elizabeth Mali helps women communicate more effectively and transform patterns of thinking and behavior that get in the way of love, connection, and success in relationships and business. Navigating relationships can get tricky for women entrepreneurs, especially if their spouses are building businesses too! Tune in to this episode: Making Working Together Work with Sandra Yancey Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Intentionally shifting your energy from CEO to wife is key. We underestimate the power of a transition ritual. Like how we prepare ourselves to meditate or worship, we need to ready ourselves for the various roles we play. ✔️ Be vocal about your wants and needs. If you're not in the mood to cook, say it. Don't expect your spouse to be a mind-reader. ✔️ Respect each other's sandboxes. It's best for both of you to ask permission if one of you needs resources from the other's business. Respect boundaries and practice making clear requests. ✔️ Create structures around meetings. Have a clear agenda and desired outcome and list off-topic ideas and concerns to be discussed in another session. This method works for both business and family meetings! What matters is for everyone to be mentally present. ✔️ The real test of love is how you handle difficult times. You have to learn how to find ways to stick together and work it out. Look back at what has helped you survive, so you can appreciate each other. I come to you today in a state of grief. I've recently lost a teacher and soul friend, Sally Kempton. With this recent loss, I've been reflecting on my teachings around love being the fundamental nature of life. Our current society has often glorified moving on and snapping out of grief as quickly as possible. But I invite you today to welcome this beautiful emotion into your heart and allow it… to help you explore the deepness of your ability to feel and get in touch with what makes you human. Tune in to this episode: Allowing Grief To Open You Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Grief is a portal into the depth of love beyond the physical.  Although your deceased loved one is no longer in this world, grief is the connecting thread that binds you. As long as you keep kindling the fire, you'll never be apart. ✔️ Avoiding our emotions blocks us from accessing who we really are. Skating along the surface of our feelings leaves us with unfulfilling relationships. Don't be afraid of getting in touch with the raw love in your heart. ✔️ Let yourself grieve. Let it crack you open. Embrace its presence. Isn't it amazing that this beautiful feeling you have is the foundation of all life? ✔️ Use grief to teach you to discover the beauty of your heart. It shouldn't be anything to be ashamed of. Emotions connect us with other living beings. Find how grief feels in your body, and bring it back out into the world as love. When we're in a bad mood, we often create more wreckage than necessary. If we did things a little differently, we could make space to feel our feelings while keeping our relationships strong and connected. With only one day left on our Paris trip, my phone was stolen, and I was so focused on the pictures I lost that I was allowing it to wreck our last 24 hours of fun, until my fiancé Patrick put his foot down and I agreed to shift my state. We were able to navigate this tricky situation with tips that I'll be sharing to help you shift your mood and shield your loved ones from unnecessary conflict. Tune in to this episode: When You're in a Bad Mood. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ When bad things happen, give yourself grace! Let people around you know that you need some space to decompress. This prevents you from venting your frustrations on your loved ones and prevents long-term wreckage. ✔️ Ready to shift? Try box breathing. But if you're not prepared to change, don't force it! If you're ready, do several rounds of inhaling, holding, exhaling, and holding, each one for the same count of (at least) four, depending on your comfort level with holding out your exhale. ✔️ Sweat out the bad mood! If breathing exercises aren't for you, get moving. Dance to your favorite song. Pound a pillow. Masturbate. Take a walk or do any rigorous physical activity to shift your state for the better. ✔️ Steer your attention somewhere else. When we're pissed, our attention tends to focus itself inward. The key is to get out of your head – step outside. Spend time in nature. Look at something beautiful. Pet cute puppies at the animal shelter. Do what feels good to shift your focus. Don't let your nervous system control you! You have more power to shift your state than you might believe. If you don't want to, no problem! Take your time, and consider how you could be affecting the people around you by choosing to stay where you are. Happy Fourth of July! As we celebrate our independence, I invite you to reframe this holiday as more than just liberation from an oppressive regime. Even if we as a collective have survived this harsh experience, sometimes this oppressiveness gets recreated – especially in our relationships. We find ourselves in the same unhealthy patterns and dynamics with different people. In this episode, I invite you to reflect on our interconnectedness – how we treat the world and the people we meet affect everything around us. Tune in to this episode: Happy Interdependence Day! Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Interdependence is an elevated way of approaching life. It's a necessary part of our survival and moves us closer to the truth of what's really going on. ✔️ Free yourself from limiting beliefs! What are the habitual patterns that you would like to change? This could be what is holding you back from imagining a better possibility for your life. ✔️ Consider how oppression shows up in your life. You could have liberated yourself from your family's oppressive conditioning but it reoccurs in your workplace or a spiritual community.  ✔️ Be independent as you exist in the world. Being free involves interrogating all the different ways you're imprisoning yourself – in your thinking, conditioning, and societal expectations. What are some spots in your life that you want to be free from? Take the first step in showing up that honors yourself and others and create that space of freedom. The PurposeGirl Podcast: Empowering women to live their purpose with courage, joy, and fierce self-love.

In honor of Pride month here in the US, I wanted to bring you a genuine conversation with a number of dear friends of mine about our own discoveries about our places in the LGBTQIA+ universe. We're having a frank, open discussion about our experiences, our joys, our struggles, and so much more. Regardless of how you (or those in your lives) identify, these issues touch all of us, and I want to help bring greater understanding to my community and to all those whose lives you touch. I'm joined by three amazing guests – not “experts” per se, simply real people: Kelly Mahalak, Cassandra Coghill, and Chivas Sandage – as we dive into: Our own journeys to self-discovery The terms we use to describe ourselves, and the challenges in using these terms Compulsory heterosexuality Coming out is not a one-time thing The privilege and curse of “passing” The many joys in our lives related to our queerness Laughter. Tears. Deep truths. This conversation has it all!!! About Cassandra A. Coghill I am Cassandra A. Coghill, a Relationship Alchemist and Intimacy Guide. I am a healer, a priestess, and a witch. Each of us is living in our own timeline.  The pressure to follow the same path and timeline as everyone else is an illusion. Just take a breath and say this aloud: “Tough titties!” In this episode, award-winning copywriter and Talking Shrimp founder Laura Belgray shares her challenging experiences growing up, the stress of fitting in among cliques, finding her soulmate (unexpectedly!), and why the world needs more of your stories. Tune in to this episode: Tough Titties with Laura Belgray Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ People grow and change. In any environment, everyone we've met can transform and have different behaviors and interests as life goes on. Someone who may have been harsh to us back then can do better in the present. ✔️ Tough Titties is a rejection to conform to societal timelines. There's nothing wrong with being a late-bloomer. What we want comes to us in its own time. ✔️ Don't put all your eggs in one basket. When looking for your special someone, date multiple people at the same time. Have distractions so that this person you like doesn't become your sole focus. This allows things to ripen in their own time. ✔️ Practice energetic agility. It can be tricky to shift your energy from what you're hyper-focused on to a loved one that needs your attention. Look for ways you can make the transition more smooth. It can be a few deep breaths or verbally letting them know how you feel. ✔️  You have so many stories in you! Stories are great tools for selling or commanding a room. There's no such thing as a boring life. Let the world know your truth! ✔️ Choosing the right relationship is a service. You want to be in one that welcomes your authentic self and encourages your partner to be real, too. When people are comfortable in their own skin, they pass this energy on to others, creating a positive ripple effect. Laura Belgray is founder of Talking Shrimp, co-creator of The Copy Cure, and author of Tough Titties: On Living Your Best Life When You're the F'ing Worst. An award-winning copywriting expert, she helps entrepreneurs find the perfect words to express and sell what they do in a way that gets them paid to be themselves. Through her work with hundreds of clients (including online biggies like Marie Forleo and Amy Porterfield) she's seen firsthand that putting “you” into your copy and all through your business is pure magic for getting people to love you up, share your ideas, and happily click your Buy button. In addition to online types, Laura's list of clients and credits include NBC, Bravo, HBO, TBS, Fandango, and many, many more. So if you watch TV -- and don't skip the commercials -- you've probably seen her words on air. Tough Titties, her first book, came out via Hachette in June, 2023. Today's episode is inspired by a quote I read the other day from screenwriter Shonda Rhimes: “I am not lucky. You know what I am? I am smart. I am talented. I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way. And I work really, really hard. Don't call me lucky. Call me a badass.” We have this rampant habit among women of shrinking ourselves because we think it will make others feel comfortable around us.  Now's the time for you to quit it and start embodying your full worth! Tune in to this episode: Quit Downplaying Your Accomplishments Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Make your own version of Shonda Rhimes' quote. Like this: “I am not _____. You know what I am? I am _____. I am _____. I take advantage of _____. And I _____. Don't call me _____. Call me _____.” Be sure to choose words that resonate with you. ✔️ Know the truth of your brilliance! Without your efforts, you wouldn't be where you are today. Every day for at least 30 days, read aloud the above acknowledgment you've written for yourself and let it transform your vibration. ✔️ Be anchored in your power. Do you wonder why the sales didn't happen or you keep attracting the wrong people? It's because you haven't embraced the wonders of who you are. ✔️ Knowing your worth isn't arrogance. It's confidence. And it doesn't have to mean being bigger or smaller than others. Just be the right size that tells the truth of your story. --------------- ★★★ About Marie-Elizabeth Mali ★★★ Marie-Elizabeth is the founder of Relationship Alchemy, where she helps growth-oriented women develop clarity and alignment with themselves and their vision, so they can attract or deepen their relationship with their ideal partner and create a fulfilling life without compromising who they are. Seven years ago, our dog Phoenix started showing signs of fear aggression. We took her to a dog trainer that taught us this valuable practice to calm her down — which we later discovered also helped us create deeper connection, intimacy, and playfulness with one another! Hostility and irritability are usually rooted in being ungrounded in some way.  With this simple practice of closing the gap, you can help your partner (and yourself!) relax and settle down, coming into greater connection again instead of spinning out into a fight. Tune in to this episode: Closing The Gap Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Your presence is enough. When your partner seems ungrounded, just sit near them in silence. Allow your calm nervous system to support their energy in settling. ✔️ Get playful when closing the gap. With each other's consent, of course! It can look like a bear hug, or gradually inching closer to your partner when they're raging, or speaking in a playful tone. ✔️ It takes courage to go first. Be the bigger person, not to gain power over them, but because you're more interested in contributing to having a connected relationship than you are in winning a war. ✔️ Apply this practice anywhere! In a more professional setting, you could breathe with a team member or client, or sit near them without saying anything. Contribute your relaxed energy to support them in settling down. Rudeness is on the rise. While it seems easier to let our emotions get the best of us, doing this takes us out of alignment from a life of peace and joy. Sam Horn, author and CEO of the Intrigue Agency, graces the show and shares valuable tips on what to say (and not say) when you just don't feel like talking, and how to prevent tricky situations from getting worse. We can't control outside circumstances, but we can control how we respond and what we say. Tune in to this episode: Talking on Eggshells—What to Say When You Don't Know What To Say  Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Never use “but” in a disagreement.  This signals an explanation that comes across as an excuse. It also signifies that you aren't holding yourself accountable for what happened. ✔️ Apologizing doesn't mean you're responsible.  It's a way to acknowledge the other person's inconvenience. Giving them compassion avoids further conflict. ✔️ Say “Yes” more often.  Instead of telling children, “No, you can't do this.” Give them a condition that they need to accomplish before they can get what they asked for. ✔️ Be more specific.  Avoid sweeping generalizations. Find out the root of the issue and address it before jumping to conclusions. ✔️ No one can make us angry without our consent.  We all have control over our own emotions. You have that power. ✔️ Set boundaries without getting angry.  You can use non-verbal cues to get people to back off when you feel like a boundary has been crossed. --------------- Sam Horn, CEO of the Intrigue Agency, is a 3-time TEDx speaker and author of 10 books - including her newest available in June, Talking on Eggshells, plus Tongue Fu!, POP!, Washington Post bestseller, Got Your Attention? - that have been featured in NY Times, Fast Company, Forbes, on NPR, and taught to Intel, Cisco, Oracle, Capital One, Fidelity, and Accenture.  Richard Branson's New Now Leaders, TED Fellows, NASA, and EO have all hired Sam to coach their executives on media training and public speaking.  Sam was Executive Director of the Maui Writers Conference (which Writers Digest called "the best writers conference in the world") for 17 years, and has helped hundreds of clients crystallize quality books and keynotes that have scaled their impact and income - for good. It may need a larger community around it, whether that's opening it up or spending more time with friends and family. ✔️ Appreciation is the most nutritive water for dry soil. Acknowledge good things you and your partner are doing. This can help you escape from a pattern of criticism. ✔️ Journal what your relationship looks like. Imagine it as a plant and ask yourself: Are the leaves wilted? Are there habits that need to be pruned? Is the pot too small for you and your partner? ✔️ Don't leave without trying. Give watering a try. You might end up with an even more loving and close relationship than what you had before. ———————————————————————————————— ★★★ About Marie-Elizabeth Mali ★★★ Marie-Elizabeth is the founder of Relationship Alchemy, where she helps women leaders create loving and nourishing intimate relationships that support their work in the world. ★ TAKE THE RELATIONSHIP ALCHEMY ASSESSMENT ★ The relationship you desire is possible! The foundation of effective communication is self-love. Let Laurie-Ann Murabito, former shy-gal-turned-speaking-coach, walk you through her methods on how she overcame the shame in giving the first word, and who now exudes confidence in speaking, both to her partner and to an audience. Tune in to this episode: Communicating with Confidence in Business and Marriage with Laurie-Ann Murabito. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Make in-person events count. Make small talk to each attendee that comes in at the door. Cite them in your speech. Memorize the start and the end of your presentation to shake off jitters and avoid rushing. Be selective of the feedback you get. ✔️ The more you ask, the easier it gets. Practice requesting your partner for more time or attention. Ask the hard questions. It gets trickier the more you delay it. ✔️ Your home life impacts your work life. And not vice versa. Spending a short moment to connect can fuel you to be at your best career-wise. Work together to make the dance as smooth as possible. ✔️ The relationship is a choice. It's not a piece of paper or a ring. As you take responsibility for your own emotions, you actively decide daily that you want to be with this person. ✔️ Confidence comes in many shapes and sizes. You don't have to copy how others do it. Find your own energy. ———————————————— Laurie-Ann Murabito, a Speaking Coach and Speaking Strategist, works with clients to communicate with confidence and leverage speaking opportunities to be positioned as the expert, attract high-end clients, and monetize their authority. Are you looking to create a new year to-do list that you'll actually accomplish? Here's an easy goal-setting method I learned from my life coach. I've been doing this for 15 years, and I recommend you do it too! You can also do it with your partner if you want to take your relationship to the next level. Tune in to this episode: Yearly Goal Setting That Works. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Write down all your desires. Be it money, travels, things for your home, or better health – don't hold back! Make that list as long as you can. ✔️ Sort your list into three categories. A priorities – Things that you'll put your attention on first B priorities – Things you'll act on but not as important as A C priorities – “Nice-to-have” dreams that you'll someday do ✔️ Liberate yourself from the pressure. This is what the C category is for. Allow yourself to express your desires, even if they may not happen. ✔️ Work on one priority from the A-list. Slowly get through it. Be sure to review your list quarterly so you can see your progress. Because your goals are broken down into small chunks, you're more likely to hit them. Tune in to this episode: Staying Soft in a Hard World with Marie-Elizabeth Mali & Andre Henry. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ The lack of space to address trauma destroys relationships. Social justice should be about working on healthy connections – be it with others or with ourselves. Andre wants to tell his story to uncover the facade of perfection. ✔️ Be more intentional about your femininity or masculinity. It isn't being a good or bad person. It's being aware of your ability to express your emotions and hone your emotional intelligence. ✔️ Never invalidate your partner's feelings. As both of you openly share your emotions, approach it with an open mind. Be careful of the words you choose. Intention doesn't instantly reflect on impact. ✔️ A shift has to happen. Men must learn to feel deeply and verbalize how they feel. Women have to de-armor after years of putting up walls against the patriarchy. ✔️ Re-do moments where you contradict yourself. Try your best to explain your intent clearly and empathize with the person you have upset. Andre Henry is a musician and writer using his creativity to build a movement for racial healing and social progress. Tune in to this episode: Habits of Healthy Couples with Mollie Birney. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Words are powerful. Give casual compliments. Acknowledge your partner's help and every instance they do something right. ✔️ Requests and responses matter. Make requests of each other. Respond to them from a place of service, not of sacrifice. If it's not a clear yes, then it's a no. ✔️ Healthy couples have difficult conversations. They share hard truths and lead these talks with concern. Establish trust to avoid leaving dark and untouched topics. Be more curious about the root of issues than the symptom. ✔️ Give each other feedback. Affirm your partner when they respect your boundaries and make an effort to improve. ✔️ Start from awareness. If you make a mistake, don't beat yourself up for it. Notice it without judgment. Be curious as to why you keep repeating these bad habits. ———————————————————————————————— Mollie Birney is a Clinical Coach in private practice, she provides life coaching with an eye toward mental health to high-achieving professionals seeking efficient, authentic transitions and behavioral change. Today's topic is quick yet juicy. What are some ways to spice things up in the bedroom? I'll be sharing my easy and doable pieces of advice so you can make every sex session fun and memorable for both you and your partner. Tune in to this episode: Tips for Better Sex. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Get to know your own body. We have other erogenous zones beyond our genitals. Stroke and touch yourself to feel good in your own skin. A good reference is Emily Nagoski's book, Come As You Are. ✔️ Ask for what you want in bed more directly. Well-meaning partners are NOT mind-readers! Say what feels good before things get worse. Nothing kills desire more than feeling wrong. ✔️ Practice touching your partner. Spend 10-15 minutes pleasuring yourself or your partner in different ways, and see how you or they respond. It doesn't have to end with intercourse every time – zero pressure! ✔️ Ask for stimulating foreplay. Most women don't climax from penetrative sex. Request your partner to prepare you for what's to come. Experiment with toys. Be compassionate and educate each other along the way. For the longest time, our upbringing and society have taught us gender-based expectations. Even with the tides changing, some habits are still ingrained in us. When you feel frustrated as to why your partner doesn't see the need to do the dishes or take out the trash, it's important to understand the factors and know what you and your partner can do about it to avoid the stress. Tim Wade discusses these deep-rooted reasons and different ways to solve these issues. Tune in to this episode: Why Does He Do That? A Peek Into the "Mysterious" Masculine Mind with Tim Wade. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Have more compassion and empathy. While some men still believe there are men-centered tasks, others just don't know how to do more feminine roles like changing diapers. They also have a more focused awareness — not noticing the stack of dishes in the sink because they're thinking about the problem at work. ✔️ Sit down and talk. Share each others' ideas of division of labor, and try to reach an agreement that is fair for both sides. Drop the ledger, and stop keeping score! ✔️ Your partner is not a mind-reader. If you don't feel heard, talk about your concern. Let go of agenda and judgment. Listen and validate the other for understanding and empathy. Sometimes, they're not hurting you on purpose. They just don't know any better. ✔️ Be more direct. Men are usually listening for direction and instruction. Instead of being passive-aggressive, clearly say what you need. You can also help them preemptively condition their listening for them to understand what you're trying to say. ✔️ Do a do-over. This is a great exercise in self-awareness and humility. When you show up in a way that is not your best, you can always re-do it. ———————————————————————————————— After being blindsided by an unexpected mid-life divorce, Tim Wade turned his deepest wound into a powerful message of transformation that he has shared with thousands of men worldwide. Tim created LionHearted Men Coaching to help men thrive in their relationships by teaching them the counter-intuitive secrets that allowed him to become a strong, confident, and compassionate father, partner, and lover. Don't be nice. Be kind! This is the core tenet of ruthless compassion. Ruthless compassion is achieving a balance of being honest and clear with strong boundaries while practicing kindness and acceptance. But a lot of times in relationships, we tend to go either on one side or the other. Dr. Marcia Sirota joins us to give her insights and advice on why we should be taking responsibility for our own self-care, how to develop boundaries and tolerance, why we shouldn't turn to romcoms for answers, and why adult relationships should be conditional. Tune in to this episode: Ruthless Compassion with Dr. Marcia Sirota. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ The condition for love is respect and kindness. Your partner should allow you to be your authentic self. You don't have to change your quirks and interests (unless they are causing hurt). If you find yourself working too hard, it's not worth keeping. ✔️ Learning ruthless compassion is a process. Whether it's alone or with a partner, you progress, make mistakes, and get back up again. Build that attitude of curiosity, self-compassion, and desire to know the truth of your patterns. ✔️ Get a trusted guide. This can be anyone who can help you see the reality of your experiences. Choose someone who lives a fulfilling and respectable life. ✔️ With courtesy and boundaries, you don't need rules. There isn't a one-size-fits-all for relationships as each is unique. See what makes you feel most comfortable and speak up if you experience a violation of your values. ✔️ Practice healthy confrontation. Follow these steps: Take a breath. Don't attack. Say, “When you did/said [the action or words], I felt [happy/sad/confused]. Wait for their response. Their answer isn't a reflection of your character. ———————————————————————————————— Dr. Marcia Sirota is a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in Toronto, Canada. She has more than 25 years of mental health experience and specializes in wellness, healing trauma, unblocking creativity, and supporting people to become their best selves. She is the founder of the Ruthless Compassion Institute, which promotes empowerment and self-awareness. She is a podcaster, the author of five books, and an instructor of several online courses. If you really want something, you're willing to work for it. The relationship and life that you truly desire won't come if you just sit back and wait for it. It's about knowing the key elements to achieve it, taking actionable steps, and collaborating with the universe through trust and faith. Tune in to this episode: Creating the Relationships and Life You Want Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Consider the ten elements to creating the life you want. I'll be going through them one by one, what each entails, and what you need to do about each. A clear vision, desire, and belief are the top three. ✔️ Be attentive of lag time. It's the period you decide you want a thing and when you get it. It looks like a delay, but you can create your own meaning for it. Will you beat yourself up for taking too long, or will you see it as a time to nurture your growth? Change sticks when you can imagine yourself winning. ✔️ Combine inner work with outer actions. We can create ease, but that doesn't mean everything we do is easy. Allow your life to unfold in its own timeline, and surrender your efforts to the universe. There's so much judgment and shame instilled in being a highly-sensitive person. What most people don't realize is that this is a superpower. Therapeutic business coach, Heather Dempsey, breaks down what it means to be a highly-sensitive person (HSP), how to optimize this ability in your career and business, effective communication with non-sensitive people, and ways to self-regulate. Tune in to this episode: Emotional Health with Heather Dempsey Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ You're an HSP if you do this. Do noises outside seem more disruptive? Do you freak out over little things when others don't? Do certain things feel like they're magnified at a ten? ✔️ HSPs must navigate relationships differently. Figure out your tipping points, and form boundaries around them. Avoid triggering situations. Let go of the idea that you're the “awkward one”. ✔️ HSPs can avoid projection. Identify the beliefs you've created. Filter which ones are true and false. Rebuild your resource of truth. Accept that some beliefs could be real, but challenge them how some might not be. ✔️ Talk to non-sensitives with empathy. They don't sense the same things as you do. You may also react in ways that are uncomfortable for them, and that's okay. ✔️ Self-regulation helps. Find activities that are self-nurturing. Practice patience in this fast-paced world. ———————————————————————————————— Heather Dempsey is a therapeutic business coach specializing in emotional health, mindset, and the psychology of business. She helps introverts, empaths, HSP, or those who struggle with anxiety show up powerfully and comfortably in their business by creating radical emotional and mindset transformations so they can thrive in business, life, and beyond. Tune in to this episode: Unexpected Ways You May Be Blocking Love. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Deflecting compliments. People send love your way through positive words about your outfit or how you look. Instead of saying, “This dress is on sale,” or rejecting it, accept it with open arms. ✔️ Refusing help. Service is love. Saying no to it because of your over-self-reliance tells the universe that you don't need anything or anyone. What you give out tends to come back. ✔️ Picking apart mistakes. Shift this into appreciating what your partner does right. Don't fixate on the tiny things that went wrong so you can assimilate the love that already exists. ✔️ Become a gracious receiver. Returning to the dating scene middle-aged and post-divorce can be terrifying for most. But Paul Aaron Travis has been on over 100 dates and counting – the experience proving to be fruitful and life-changing. He shares with us his advice for individuals like him about letting go of expectations, authenticity vs intimacy, tracking your dates and potential partners, and finding your partner through effective questioning. Tune in to this episode: Dating After 40 with Paul Aaron Travis. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Utilize helpful tools. Paul recommends attending gatherings such as his Singles Salon, follow a blueprint like his 40-Plus Dating Reset, and use a dating log to list key details of your dates, such as: Last time they contacted you How long you've been dating Any red or green flags ✔️ Authenticity vs. Intimacy. Although interconnected, they are different. Authenticity is presenting who you really are to the world and how you live. Intimacy is being genuine within to allow others to enter your world. ✔️ Do a vibration check. Consider why you're dating in the first place. Then, don't rush the process of meeting new people. As we are experiencing collective anxiety about the future, it's important to choose someone who strikes the right chords. ✔️ There is power in questions. People who've had bad breakups and bad dates may feel cynical. But engaging in deep conversations with your dates can help change your mind. Listen to their dreams, dealbreakers, what turns them on, and what doesn't. Don't let your fear win over meeting your potential partner. ✔️ Practice detachment. Letting go of expectations can help you be more vulnerable and cushion the pain during rejections. Be open to whatever can happen. You may meet a new best friend or someone that can benefit from your knowledge or support. ———————————————————————————————— Paul Aaron Travis's commitment to making dating joyful, respectful, expansive, and consensual comes from extensive training in interpersonal relations - from Nonviolent Communication to the Wheel of Consent, from Landmark Education to Human Awareness International, from Body Electric to ISTA/Tantra. For years, Paul co-facilitated the Seattle Men's Wisdom Council, working with hundreds of men every month. In the years since his divorce, he has dated 100 women – mostly first dates which didn't yield sufficient chemistry to continue yet helped him create the technique he now teaches that manifested three wonderful, multi-year relationships. Most couples get stuck in a comfortable routine and eventually stop growing together. If you're not growing together, you're going to be growing apart. And that's not great for your relationship. Today, I'll be talking about how growth can help your relationship flourish and how to weave growth more effectively into the fabric of your partnership. Tune in to this episode: Ending Relationship Boredom. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Pursue self-growth. Examine how you're growing individually. This could be trying new things, such as a dance class or going on a vacation to a new location. ✔️ Have an honest conversation. What aspects of your relationship feel flat? Be self-responsible about it. Brainstorm ways to change it. Create an accountability structure and give yourselves time to shift the dynamic. ✔️ Free up some bandwidth. Life can get stressful. Hand off tasks that you can delegate. Spare some time to reconnect, even if it's just an hour a week. Your relationship needs time and attention. She shares her advice and expertise in letting go of our “money blocks” and how our attitude towards money can also affect our relationships. Tune in to this episode: Money Mindset and a Thriving Marriage with Emily Williams. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Achieve abundance in all areas. If you're feeling lack in one area, most likely, you have lack in other areas. Guess what, you CAN have it all. You just have to be willing to go through the learning process. Make sure to examine your whole life because your money mindset can also seep into your relationships. ✔️ Practice exquisite honesty. Be unapologetic about what you want and need with your partner. Sometimes, you have to choose yourself first to fill your cup and be a better participant in the relationship. Recognize and honor each other's differences. ✔️ Be an observer of your own mind. Release your ego and deliberately look into your own desires. What fears come up that are blocking you from getting what you want? Take your limiting beliefs and flip them into something positive. ✔️ Use comparison for good. Instead of feeling jealous of others who have what you want, use them as inspiration. If it's possible for them, you can do it too. Take clues from what they did so you can create the same results. Emily Williams is a money mindset expert, success coach, author, speaker, and CEO of both her lifestyle and media company, I Heart My Life, and her personal brand, where she helps executives and entrepreneurs break through their limiting beliefs and rewrite their money stories so that they can increase both their income and their impact, and feel more fulfilled and satisfied than they ever have before. Spending “me time” is key in nourishing your connections – be it with your partner, family members, or even friends. If you don't take time for yourself, you're going to be bringing your raggedest self into your relationships. And we don't want to be projecting our frustrations on others, right? Taking time to recharge isn't selfish. It's a gracious act of filling yourself first so that you have enough to share. Tune in to this episode: Why "Me Time" Matters in Relationships. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ “Me time” teaches us and others how to love. Doing activities you enjoy tells you that your well-being deserves to be prioritized. It also shows others how you want to be loved. It's a form of boundary setting. ✔️ You have control over how much you give and when to replenish. You bring more energy when your cup is full. It's not their fault you feel exhausted. Resource yourself first then love from your saucer, the overflow from your cup. ✔️ Look for leaks and plug them. What activities drain you? See if you can hand them off. If not, reframe your mindset. Take a break and go back to it when you are more rested. ✔️ Rejuvenate. Three minutes a day of a grounding activity is enough. Fill yourself up before crossing off your to-do list. It's going to feel much better at the end of the day.  ———————————————————————————————— ★★★ About Marie-Elizabeth Mali ★★★ Marie-Elizabeth is the founder of Relationship Alchemy, where she helps women leaders create loving and nourishing intimate relationships that support their work in the world. ★ THE RELATIONSHIP BREAKTHROUGH INTENSIVE ★ To learn more about the Relationship Breakthrough Intensive and book a Relationship Catalyst Call with Marie-Elizabeth, go to https://relationshipalchemy.com/rbi ★ TAKE THE RELATIONSHIP ALCHEMY ASSESSMENT ★ The relationship you desire is possible! What is the pleasure gap? It's the difference in the number of orgasms men and women have during intercourse – 96% for men and only 4% for heterosexual women. Society has discouraged women to explore themselves sexually, coupled with impossible body standards that have significantly affected body image and esteem. Entice Me Soirees Founder Tiffany Yelverton is here to help women reclaim their sexual power and take the shame out of self-pleasure. Tune in to this episode: Closing the Pleasure Gap with Tiffany Yelverton. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Self-pleasure is connected to self-love. “A touch stimulates oxytocin production, which is the culmination of an orgasm,” Tiffany Yelverton says. Touching oneself - sexually and non-sexually - can help women bring back their connection to their body. ✔️ Work together with your partner. So how do you start? Keep the lights on. Go for non-verbal communication. Talk about what turns you on. Do it on yourself. Try it on your partner. ✔️ Mind foreplay is key. Women need at least 24 minutes of foreplay to get aroused enough to get to orgasm. But they often only get 2-3 minutes of it — which is how long it takes men to get aroused. Blood flow to the genitals is arousal for men, while it starts in the brain for women. ✔️ Learning about pleasure is important. Going on an exploration of her body and discovering her first orgasm turned Tiffany Yelverton into the expert that she is today. “This is what we need to know because it affects relationships so much,” she says. ✔️ Pleasure opens your life to abundance. It's actually beneficial – for your career, confidence, and mental health. Some of Tiffany Yelverton's clients have had newfound assertiveness in asking for raises. Body dysmorphia lessens as you experience more orgasms. Getting into the habit of self-pleasure also decreases the risk of heart disease by 50%, helps fight depression, and stimulates collagen production. ✔️ Own your sexual power. Men masturbate 37% more than women due to the shame women carry about self-pleasure. Break the stigma, glow brighter, and reclaim your sexuality! ———————————————————————————————— Tiffany Alyse Yelverton is the founder and Chief Sexinista of Entice Me Soirees, Inc. and Sexy Survivors. She is a master at disarming sexual shame and normalizing conversations around sex and pleasure. Tiffany inspires women to love their bodies and experience the orgasms of their dreams to eradicate the gender pleasure gap. Tune in to this episode: Catalyze More Love In Your Life. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ How RBI works. In a two-hour call, we will get to the root of your recurring patterns, and create your Have the Relationship You Want Action Plan to shift them. There will be check-ins in between and a follow-up call to touch base two weeks later as you implement your plan. I want you to let go of shame around seeing your patterns and issues so you can take action. ✔️ How to maximize your RBI. We customize the intensive according to your needs. Before starting, identify the primary issue that you want me to help you resolve. You have the choice to sign up for one more session, a series of sessions, or attend a retreat with others who are on the same journey. ✔️ Benefits and transformations. A client of mine had huge success with her RBI. She used to have issues and would get triggered when communicating with a certain family member. It's normal for us to get so lost in the constant hustle and grind of daily life that we forget to take care of ourselves. When our bodies are at a sub-optimal state, it seeps into every aspect of our lives. But it doesn't have to be that way. Change Guide for Growth Claire Jones is here to share with us the seven areas that we should focus on to be productive and effective in any task we take. Spoiler alert: It's all in our brains! Tune in to this episode: Seven Areas of Your Life to Prioritize for Optimal Performance with Claire Jones. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Connecting time is for our brain's need for social connection. It can't differentiate a broken heart from a broken leg. If you catch yourself doom-scrolling on social media, take a break. Call up a friend and meet! Your body will thank you for it. ✔️ Playtime releases happy hormones. It gives us a chance to experiment in non-threatening scenarios. Doodling and coloring can help us hone that imaginative and creative muscle and improve different skill sets. ✔️ Downtime brings innovation. Daydreaming allows us to tap into different areas of our brains simultaneously, causing new connections to form – extra helpful when we're dealing with complex problems. That's why all your best ideas are born in the shower. ✔️ Focus time leads to a flow state. This is where challenge and competence meet. Your brain thrives when you're completely engrossed in a single task. No more multi-tasking! ✔️ Time-in is meditation. This is when you use non-judgmental self-observation to achieve self-regulation. You can make better decisions because you've formed a solid foundation of awareness. ✔️ Physical time primes your brain for more learning. Incorporate any type of exercise within your week to achieve a clearer mind so you can seamlessly go through all your activities for the day. ———————————————————————————————— Claire Jones is the Change Guide for Growth who compassionately supports conscious visionaries as they navigate transitional spaces in their personal and professional lives with empowering rituals and elevated wellness practices. As a lifelong student of human behavior, she combines her certification in wellness coaching, certification in NeuroLeadership, BA in Art History, and a decade of trauma-informed therapy practices to help her clients achieve more in less time with less stress. So whether you're going through a divorce, changing careers, moving homes, hitting a milestone birthday, expanding a business, or any of the many transitions we experience every single day, she looks forward to being your trusted Sherpa. My fiancé Patrick and I recently took a couple of weeks off to travel, enjoy one another, and see family and friends in different places. This experience reminded me about how important it is to take time and reenergize your connection with your partner, or loved ones in general, and to step out of the automation of day-to-day life. Today, I'll share with you my tips on how to go about a Relationship Reboot of your own! Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Be mindful yet spontaneous. Know how much rest you need. Go to that show you saw a flyer about. Eat at that restaurant that a friend recommended. Discover and enjoy things that light up your world. ✔️ Don't be a vacation martyr. Pay attention to how much rest and activity you and the other person like. Speak up about what you want to do at that moment. You can still have fun together while doing things on your own. ✔️ For a staycation, have a deliberate closing and reopening of your regular life. Signal your system that you're stepping out of your normal flow of life and into that special space. It can look like lighting a candle or shutting down your computer. ✔️ Create lists in advance. It can be a list of restaurants you've been meaning to try or something I call “a pleasure menu.” Preparation can be so freeing. Make informed decisions that spark joy, and don't default to what's quick or easy because it's likely not what you really want. ✔️ Ultimately, a Relationship Reboot is nourishment. Allow yourself to drop in and keep in touch with a deeper octave of yourself. Remember what you loved about your loved ones before you became cogs in the wheel of life. What is conscious love? For relationship coach Angela N. Holton, it's an inward journey of finding purpose and fulfillment and healing our core wounds to avoid projection on our partners. It all starts with looking at what hasn't worked in our past relationships and learning how to be more responsible to our loved ones. Tune in to this episode: Conscious Love and Dating with Angela N. Holton. Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ Don't blame dating apps. Show up with integrity. No more ghosting. More accountability. No more rude comments on people's appearance. More authenticity. More accountability. ✔️ Rejection is experience. It's nothing personal and is a way to get you one step closer to your person. Just lick your wounds, move on, and when the right one comes, they'll surely not pass you by. ✔️ Turn your suffering into art. Write in your journal. Do standup comedy. Sing songs. Pain and grief are energies – the more they get locked up, they build up and will explode in the ugliest ways. Let it go! ✔️ Become the mirror reflection of what you want. We all think about our ideal partners. So why not think about what they are looking for and embody it? ✔️ Find fulfillment in other aspects of your life. Dating isn't the end-all-be-all in life. Have you considered working out your career, hobbies, and connections with family and friends? ✔️ Dating and relationships are a journey within yourself. A whole heart isn't devoid of pain. It has integrated all its past mistakes and hurtful memories into its cracks and has learned to push aside its triggers and wounds.  ———————————————————————————————— Angela N. Have you ever realized that your relationship is actually like a car? Maybe it's working well and just needs detailing... Or it could need a little tune-up like the clutch is sticking... Or does it need repair because something's actually not working... Or... MAYBE it's totally broken down and needs a tow to the shop? How do you know? Tune in to this episode: Relationship as a Vehicle — What Kind of Driver Are You? Key points covered in this episode: ✔️ The over-detailer. Just like how they keep their car super pristine, they constantly obsess over little things like their partner looking at them funny or their tone sounding different – looking for wrongs. Overidentifying with one's image can lead to this nitpicky attitude. ✔️ The most balanced. They keep their car clean, do checkups but don't fixate, and change the oil and tires, so nothing breaks. Regular maintenance helps relationships run better over time. This is the best stage for coaching.  ✔️ The tune-up. This person waits until the warning lights come on before they take action. They wait for things to feel flat before they decide to reconnect or choose to address the issue. ✔️ The repair person. They wait for something to actually break before moving. Red flags may appear, but they let them go in the moment and react only when things turn serious. At this point, you're in counseling. ✔️ The total breakdown. Completely ignoring all the signs causes the relationship to seize. They've missed the opportunities. It's past the point of counseling and has evolved into mediation, splitting assets, and separating for good.
