You pray on Sunday. You hustle on Monday. But they never talk to each other. The Sons of Issachar had one skill — they understood the times and knew what to do. David surrounded himself with these men. That's one reason he prospered. But here's the problem: you can't develop that skill if you're fragmented. Here's what hit me: → Fragmentation creates noise — you can't hear God over your own chaos → Your business decisions are disconnected from your spiritual discernment → Integrated leaders don't hustle — they discern, wait, and move with God David didn't miss moments. He could read the times because he was whole. His worship informed his warfare. His private relationship with God shaped his public decisions. The question is: Are you seeing the times clearly, or are you so fragmented that you're missing what's right in front of you? — — —⏱️ TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - The one skill that made David prosper 2:25 - David could read God's timing 4:00 - Why fragmented leaders can't see clearly 5:30 - You pray on Sunday, hustle on Monday 7:00 - Fragmentation creates fear-based decisions 9:00 - Cultivate intimacy with God in private 11:00 - Bring your whole self to every situation 13:00 - Process your fragmentation through worship 15:00 - The Integration Gap Assessment — — —

Why do brilliant leaders make reckless decisions? It's the same reason King David fell.In this episode, we unpack the single most critical factor in David's success—and the tragic silence that led to his greatest failure with Bathsheba. If you've ever felt a disconnect between your public leadership and your private reality, David's story is a powerful mirror. We explore how to move from reactive, isolated choices to integrated, Spirit-led decision-making that stands up under pressure. You will learn:The crucial difference between David as a Warrior vs. David as a Decision-Maker.The exact moment integration cracked in the Bathsheba story.A 4-step framework to align who you are with how you lead, so you never have to live a double life again.

In this episode of Shifts and Ladders, Rion explores the side of King David's strength almost no one talks about. Beyond the battles, the throne, and the “man after God's own heart” label, there was a deeper, more integrated masculinity at work. Rion unpacks how David held together warrior courage, emotional honesty, and radical dependence on God—and what that means for modern leaders who feel pressure to be strong, stoic, and always “on.” You'll learn how biblical strength isn't about image management, but about becoming the kind of person God can trust with influence, even in hidden seasons.

Jesus didn't just die for salvation — He prayed for your integration. In John 17, Jesus prays a radical prayer: “That they all may be one, Father, just as You and I are one.” This is more than unity — it's a call to wholeness. In this Shifts & Ladders episode, Rion Robinson explores what it means to live an integrated life — one where your faith, emotions, purpose, and calling move together, not against each other. Discover how to: • Heal spiritual fragmentation • Align your identity and calling • Experience the peace of divine oneness Follow the podcast for more faith-driven insights on transformation and wholeness.

In this episode of Shifts & Ladders, Rion Robinson unpacks one of the most misunderstood scriptures in the Bible — Psalm 127. Solomon, the master builder, reminds us that skill without surrender leads to exhaustion, and success without succession is vanity. Topics covered: • Why “unless the Lord builds the house” is about more than hard work • The spiritual meaning of rest and why it's a sign of trust • The connection between building your house and establishing your household • Legacy, lineage, and why your children — natural or spiritual — are God's arrows • A 4-step Integration Method framework to build with alignment, not anxiety “Peace is the proof of partnership. Legacy is proof that God's still building.” Tune in, and learn how to move from hustle to holy work.

So many of us are trying to love from depletion, not overflow. Jesus didn't say “love your neighbor more” — He said “as yourself.” In this episode, Rion unpacks how distorted self-perception fractures our relationships — and how aligning your identity with God's truth can restore authentic love, leadership, and peace. This is where healing begins — when you finally see yourself the way He does.

In this conversation, Rion Robinson explores the tension between our outer achievements and inner fulfillment. He emphasizes the importance of aligning our inner life with our outer success to avoid burnout and disconnection from our true purpose. Through the lens of spirituality, he discusses the necessity of stillness, the power of rhythms over resolutions, and the sacredness of nurturing our inner world. The conversation encourages listeners to reflect on their pace of life and to seek a deeper connection with themselves and God for true fulfillment and success.

In this episode, we explore the essence of true success, focusing on personal growth and alignment with one's soul. We discuss the emptiness that can accompany success without integration and emphasize the importance of mindset, systems, and strategy. Drawing on biblical insights and personal experiences, we guide listeners towards a more fulfilling and integrated life. Key Takeaways True success guards your soul rather than gambling it. You Need THIS to Produce fruit in your life.

Listen, we've all been there. You're having a tough time. Your faith is feeling a little easier to break. Let's talk about it.

Faith doesn't announce itself, God is always there waiting, helping, comforting. You just have to believe that and trust Him.

Title says it all. Today we're talking about Enoch, a man that was so close to God and had so much faith and commendation for Him that he did not feel death for God just took him away. when we struggle with faith, rekindling our closeness and Intimacy with God is usually a step in the right direction.

Faith is actually just trust. Trust that things will work out, trust that God will provide for you if you lay your anxieties with him. It's a matter of trusting God with his plan and being strong in your faith. I promise you when the storm passes, you will be unbelieveably resilient and strong.

It's actually quite simple to get God's favour on your side. Faith.

Faith is the connecting link between you and God, and you don't need to see that connection. Just believe in it. Believe in the fact that'll provide reassurance and that your faith will pull you out of any challenge you face in your life.

You can see how your beliefs affect the way you live your lives. A lot of us are walking around with SO much going on in our lives that it is VERY difficult to stay completely focused on our faith. Life is just cluttered with work stress, relationship stress, financial stress, and whatever other stress is inhabiting your life. Which is why I'm offering a free e-book to help you declutter your soul so that you can work to bring your faith and your soul back in focus. You simply cannot have two focuses, you cannot serve God and Money at the same time. One will make the other impossible to focus on, and honestly. I'd rather focus on God than on Money. Let's chat about it.

Listen, you can't have multiple priorities. Don't hold on to the things that are just taking up space and get a quick upgrade that will actually serve you. Like a relationship with God and Yourself. You can experience material pleasures and choose to have material goods, but your priority has to remain true to the one thing that will ALWAYS be there for you.

God doesn't want you to be broke, or suffering or not have anything you need. He wants you to thrive, but often time we pursue those things ABOVE our relationship with God and that's when we begin to truly experience hardship. God above all is the best way to Thrive.

Imma keep it simple with y'all, Jesus fed 500 people with two loafs of bread and a couple of fish. He made an abundance out of nothing using the blessings of God to make enough to feed everybody. You gotta do something similar in your moments of Lacking and take a break, a blessing and multiply what you have.

Listen, life is hard. life unfortunately will continue to life. It can be rough, but Jesus doesn't provide you with life challenges without the opportunity of redeeming those challenges for something good. Growth, faith, you name it. God doesn't always make it easy for you, but he will always take care of you.

Are you RSVP'ing to that one?

We are like Fishnets, we can only carry so much before we start breaking and we need help dealing with the newfound abundance and what that reveals in us. On this week's episode we're chatting about the situations when that happens and how to manage the backside of blessing

It's time to talk about humility, which means that ironically we need to talk about Pride First. Sit tight during this episode, let's identify why pride can be such an insidious problem for us and make sure you join us next week where we talk about how to achieve humility.

It's real easy to get carried away with life and forget that we need our faith in god to be strong in order to be able to participate in whatever vision he has for us. Here are 3 things that will help you increase your faith.

Doubt is insidious, it can be easy to forget the amount of power you actually hold towards the circumstances life throws at you. But holding strong to your faith, To the faith you have in God, you're able to overcome pretty much anything that gets thrown your way.

Last week we talked about Double mindedness and the causes of it and potentially the effect that it can have on your life. Today we're talking about how to fix it and how to regain conviction in your goals and gain the blessing of God while doing it. Let's get into it.

When you are experiencing unstable prayers, or unstable communication, you're probably struggling with something called Double-Mindedness. You're essentially being wishy washy about your goals or what you want and it's affecting your relationship with faith and God. Which makes sense, we're people and our desires and our faith wavers and become unstable. In this episode we'll chat about what it means to be double minded, next episode we'll talk about how to handle double mindedness.

Title says it all. We often prioritize our own goal setting to such a degree that we tend to ignore God's plans for us, when in reality our goals align with whatever God's ultimate plan is for us. Seeking God's will is a great way to start aligning your goals with God's ultimate plan for you.

Listen, you can do a lot in your life without trusting the Big G. but at the end of the day, you have to let him lead to where you need to go. Trust God and have faith that your life will develop in the way that it needs to while you pursue all of your goals.

Listen, The reason that a lot of people fail at their goals is simply because they don't see them as clearly as they could. You're not envisioning it at the level of definition you need in order to pursue it. I know, I've been there. Let's talk about how to clear our vision through the lens of God and creating something that can let us execute.

We've been gone since November, had to take a look at what we were making and uploading and make some Shifts (see what I did there?). Thank you for the support through the last season of Shifts and Ladders, we're still talking about God, still improving our lives by following his word. I just relaxed a little. Hope you have a good time. Let's chat for a bit in this welcome back episode.

“We don't rise to the level of our goals, we fall to the level of our systems” – James Clear. A lot of us believe that once you set the goals, you're good to go, but if you don't set your systems properly and follow them. You'll find yourself not making progress sooner than you think.

Discipline is good, it may not always feel like it but I promise. It's good for you. God knows this too and will often use it to help you grow as a person.

If you put yourself up, you'll go down. If you put yourself down, you'll go up.
