www.arastasia.comwww.instagram.com/arastasiaWhen i think of imposter syndrome I think of the little voice in your head that makes you doubt yourself, makes you question your abilities, but most importantly, the little voice is a thief of the joy that doing something passionate brings you. It's awful.Have you ever felt so great about something you were creating, or working on.And in that moment you forgot about any insecurities and you solely felt the PASSION for doing something you love? Whether it be a split second, a few minutes, maybe even a few weeks. You just felt the excitement and joy with what you were doing.THAT'S the feeling and more importantly, the MINDSET, I want us to all strive for.Because when imposter syndrome creeps in… it takes that away, and robs us of true meaning behind why we do what we do.
In this episode I share my journey of struggling with anxiety and depression, and how it has negatively impacted my passion for inspiring others, and releasing new podcast episodes. My journey of accepting imperfections in myself is a constant work in progress, and I very vulnerably discussed how feeling mentally not my best is causing me to self sabotage my passions. So in this episode, here I am...To remind you that i am a hot mess. And I am still actually working through a lot.And that chances are, i'm going to be working through a lot for a while.Life truly is a roller coaster, it has ups and downs. But i cannot give up my passion because of those. And so if you feel as though you can't make an impact because you're not at your best, and because you're struggling, and because goodness gracious anxiety and depression really know how to make things tough,I want you to think about your purpose.Think about why you do what you doAnd think about what you can do to embrace that purpose, even when you know you're not at your best. For me, it's speaking authentically.

Last April I painted my first wall mural. Painting murals was always something I wanted to do, and it became one of my bucket list items. However, because I was viewing it as a bucket list goal, I think I was almost treating it as a “far fetched dream” that maybe wouldn't turn into a reality, or if it did… it would be years down the line. Last year I promised myself I would chase my passions, and get rid of my fear of failure and perfectionism, hence why I finally started this podcast last January. Before I expand on how I finally reached that dream of painting murals, I would love to back it up, and give my backstory towards art as a whole.

Click to Sign up for your FREE Mentoring Call!!Follow me on InstagramJoin the Passion and Potential Facebook GroupPassion and Potential Website In this episode I give 3 Simple Ways Customers Can Easily Refer & Market For You. Referrals are CRUCIAL for your business, and they are literally FREE marketing. I will be fully honest, referrals literally helped build my business and get it to a place of consistent bookings and full time income. The fact that my customers were HAPPY to tell others about me, to share my work with their friends so their friends could hire me as well, that was crucial. Especially for a 22 year old me that was full time in starting a business, with zero experience of running a business. To start, keep in mind, People will refer you if they are happy with you. So by all means, do good work. Give your customers a positive experience, make them feel special, treat them with respect and be professional. After you instill that work ethic in place, you can ask for referrals & allow your customers to help you reach new customers. Simplify the work FOR your customer. We are busy humans, so something as little as opening up your phone to type in a website, can be enough to deter someone away from helping you out in this department. So think of ways you can make that process easier for someone.I recommend that you Make a QR code that is easily accessible for people.Put it in your business cards, print it out and put it in your shop or office, have it on hand in your wallet or purse at all times. Simplify it for your customer, because all they have to do is scan the QR code and boom, pops up your website, your contact information, your reviews. Etc.Pictures Promote! If you have a physical space where customers work with you, Give your customers a reason to take a nice photo, and share that to social media, always always trying remind them to tag you and your businessIf you don't have a physical space, so someone like me for example. I'm a wedding photographer, I don't have the need for a store front. Try to get creative with other ways you can use photos as a way for your customer to share you.Have a system in place that allows you to ask for referrals right after someone works with you!So create a system that allows for you to ask for a review right after someone works with you. Here's a few examples of you how you can this
