New Year! New Snarf Talk!!!   We are back with all new episodes after our one year of traveling the world with a Bangladesh side show! We start off just going over what the last year has really been for Snarf, and where we are going forward from here.  We had plenty to cover in the beginning of the show, and were very surprised with the awesome turn out of listeners for the live stream during this recording.  After our yearly recap we get into the top 10 new years resolutions ranked by Forbes, and give you our special snarf ways to be successful in completing those goals! News What we're watching, a new song, and TV Show!   Thats right we are very creative this episode!  The guys put together a new song in the spirit of Thanksgiving.  The reason for this you ask??  No reason really other than when was the last time you heard a festive Thanksgiving song??  Yea never, so here you go we got one for you, its a hip hop beat called the gobble wobble.(copyright SnarfTalk2022). News, Loaves of Meat, and what we're watching of course! We come out right away swinging for the fences, Jerry has a bunch of different news articles from the entertainment world.  But before that we get into another food review!!  Spam, Luncheon Loaf, Treet, and 2 others that Jerry got off of Amazon.  Jong Chong one..... and Diyad, a loaf of meat made from beef, all of the others are a pork product.  We figured we should have one that is of the red meat variety.  This meat review was way different than the other food reviews we have done. This was.... Enjoyable!  We really really liked most of these.  News you say!  Yes, James Gunn is one of the heads of DC now, Damon Lideloff is making a star wars movie, James Cameron gives us some insightful info on Avatar 4 and 5, Matt Reeves is going to have some spin offs of the Batman, and finally Disney is getting Doctor who!   We dont get into much of what we're watching, because we got on some real tangents in this episode.  Stay tuned for next episode when we discuss the season finale of The House of Dragons!!! Quail Egg Review, News, and what we're watching of course! It's our weekly Sober October round up, and it seems Chris and Jerry are doing just fine, David chimes in with his fat and sassy comments.  But all in all the gentlemen seem to be doing well this month!  Henry Cavill has officially returned as Superman for the DC movie universe!!  He has appeared in Black Adam (spoilers) and is going to make a resurgence!! Jerry is obviously excited for the news and believes DC will be coming in hot with great movies for the future.  Chris was rather unimpressed per-usual.  Lastly with the news, Cobra Kia has been renewed for its 6th season, or is it 46th??  I don't know, they keep pumping these things out, and apparently 40 year old men still want to relive the 80's in 2022.  Because someones watching them!   Ok onto the food review, Quail Eggs!!  Chris has 3 different pickled quail eggs for them to try.  Nothing, goes as planned, the review goes awry as soon as the first jars top is popped.  It's an interesting review to say the least. Thats right folks we have some news for you, not much this week as the pop culture world has been relatively slow in the way of news lately.  We have our weekly update on Sober October, thats a thing.  Pop artist Lewis Capaldi has an incredible video that Jerry raved about, and we have some movie trailers. Sausage tastin review!! Jerry brought 6 different kinds of Vienna Sausages to try along with one odd ball outlier that wasn't Vienna, but had the cold dead eyes of a young boy on the label.  So we obviously had to try those!!!  It was eventful and somewhat delicious..... In its own way. News, Top 100, and What We're Watching Not much news, Mighty Ducks Game Changers is back!  Great family show that Chris and I found very entertaining last year.  Deadpool 3 announcement!!  If you have not watched the short clipped released by Ryan Reynolds and the MCU, I would definitely suggest searching that on the Youtubes now!!   We discuss our new challenge for the month of October that is formally called, Sober October.  We will not be drinking any alcohol, all the while Chris Siedentop, and I will be trying to lose weight as well.  It's going to be a great challenge.  And what better way to start off sober October than going through the top 100 drinks to ever be mixed!!  Its really kind of made us want to drink, but we did not give in.  October will be interesting to say the least for the podcast. As always we end with what we're watching.  Not much has changed, we have The Rings of Power, House of Dragons, Andor that Chris has finally caught up to.  And Jerry gives us a new show called Welcome to Wrexham on FX and Hulu.  Great show starring Rob Mcelhenney and Ryan Reyonlds as they purchase the Wrexham Futbol club.  really interesting show that reminds Jerry of a real life Ted Lasso experience. News, Snarfnouncements, What we're watching and a stranger! Yes we have come back from another hiatus this summer, and we are back with a vengeance!!!! News, a possible spring stretcher, Pickle Review and what we're watching!! The guys have some news to fill you in on in the entertainment business, nothing too exciting.  That turns into a discussion on whether or not Jerry has a spring Stretcher or something that is just a mild annoyance.  He thinks its a mild annoyance, Chris says its definitely a Spring Stretcher.  Either way stop saying these those two things!!! Smack dab in the middle of the show we get into our pickle review!  Jerry has brought 8 different kinds of pickles, 2 varieties of Claussen pickles, which he says is the base pickle that everything is judged from.  Then he has 6 other varieties from Green Kamikozees pickle company.  This company pickles almost anything under the sun, and the variety of flavors for their pickles is absolutely amazing.  Chris and Jerry had a blast trying all of these flavors, you will not be disappointed.   Finally we have some what we're watching.  Jerry has went to the movies a couple times and saw some Bond, some Rons gone wrong, and Netflixed and chilled by himself watching The Rock and Ryan Reynolds run around.  Chris doesn't watch TV anymore because he's an over worked farmer, that is struggling with seasonal depression and malnutrition.   But Jerry's a ball of joy still!! General Conversation, News, and What we're watching!! News, What We're watching, a Restaurant review, and the Top 10 Halloween movies!   Jerry starts us off with his review of Panda Express, now if you have followed along with the podcast, you would know Jerry and Chris have bashed Panda Express when an avid listener chimes in about how good it is.  Well Jerry has tucked his tail between his legs and changed his opinion of this fine fast food establishment. News, Movie Reviews, The Top 20 sci-fi movies to watch before Dune, and What we're watching!! We are back this week with a big show!  Chris Jerry and The Dude went on a Snarf Talk road trip!!! Ok, we'll call it what it is.... a mens day date.  We had lunch, we had some drinks, and then we went to a movie, but not just any movie. DUNE!! We watched the spectacle that is Dune. A book that is absolutely our favorite Sci-Fi books of all time. Something that Jerry and Chris have waited for, for such a long time.  We give an in depth review with no spoilers what so ever, of a movie that is grand in scale to say the least. We have some news about DC Fandome that happened a couple weekends ago, including new shows and trailers of movies that are upcoming in the DC world.  To us it looks like DC is making quite the make over of their movie world.  To say Jerry is excited is an understatement, DC has needed a make over and it looks to be happening. Then there is the top 20 Sci-Fi movies you should watch before Dune.  We don't know if they are essential to watch before Dune, but there are certainly some movies in this list that you should watch if you are a fan of the Sci-Fi genre for sure. After that it happens the review of a movie we have been waiting for, for what seems like years, Dune,  It is an epic telling of a book we have loved, and the guys get deep into the lore and story of Dune.  We have watched a few things as well, Squid Game is very popular right now and Chris has started the journey through the show.  Locke & Key season 2 was released this past week and both Jerry and Chris have started the season.  Neither has finished the season, but both are completely wrapped up into it.  This season, while it strays from the comic, seems to be a great show for people to enjoy. Spring stretchers, some news you can use, and Suicide Squad REVIEWS!!   Chris and Jerry are back with all the news you could ever want, but first Jerry is appalled by a certain type of person ordering and eating a certain typed of fried potato.  Why he's so passionate about this type of potato nobody can really understand, he was close to going full Giamatti over it.  The next question proposed is house temperature, 68 or 72, what do you ,ike your house to be in the Summer time? Back at it this week with a few little pieces of news, nothing too spectacular.  What is spectacular is Chris' spring stretchers, he has two this week one being political and somewhat uncontrollable, unless of course people are voted out of office.....  The second spring stretcher though is absolutely controllable, the modern day language that is being created through social media, is an absolute abomination of the english language.  The more he spoke the words that stretch his springs, the more Jerry got angry as well. Todays modern slang is absolutely infuriating!! News, DNA from Stool, and what we're watching. The champions are revealed!  A little News and what we're watching! Elite 8, some news and what we're watching! Yes Snarf Madness is rolling and we are coming down to the wire!  We have our picks for the elite 8, and we do the final four!!  So after this episode we have the championship left and boy is it going to be a doozy for Chris and Jerry.  Even though they are wildly different, neither one knows what they are going to pick! We have a couple news pieces from the week, a Shang Chi and the legend of the ten rings trailer has come out.  To say Chris enjoyed it would be an understatement, Kung Fu movies are right in his wheel house!  The way this trailer looked seems like it will be a great kung fu movie, but with a marvel/Doctor strange vibe to it.  Jerry talked about a new show that came out on TBS recently, that is getting an enormous amount of hate from the audience and viewers, but critics have scored it really well.  A show called Chad, with a 40 year old woman that plays a 14 year old boy.  I don't know, Check out some clips and let us know what you think. Snarf Madness round 3, one news thing and some what we're watching! Starting off we talk a lot about a British girl that was trying American styled baked beans, similar to us trying Heinz BEANZ!  She did not enjoy a lot of American foods that Jerry enjoys and he's a bit upset.  We move into talking about different Oreo flavors, our children and some other friends had a large taste test of a bunch of different Oreo styles to see whats the best.  Keep with the original folks!!! Quit trying to change things so much, what is the idea here?  You have already made the greatest cookie of all time, don't change it! Round 2 of Snarf Madness, some news and what we're watching! Chris starts off the show spittin some sick rhymes for a new theme song we may implement at some point, and get some new stickers made.  You never know what the minds and mouths can create in the middle of a rap sesh!  We once again start off with Snarf Madness, this episode is the entirety of round 2, 32 teams and 16 match ups. Chris and Jerry have some similar tastes in games, but this round we some drastic turns in Jerrys bracket.  He has had some bracket busting picks in this round, that some may say are unforgivable.  But the heart wants what the heart wants, and Jerry goes with his heart with every single pick. Snarf Madness round 1 and what we're watching!   Yes Snarf Madness has started!! Chris and Jerry start round one off with the left side of the bracket this week, the east and west divisions.  The two hosts looked to be almost identical for a minute, and then wildly take separate roads as there choice in games seem to differ greatly.  Chris at one point was ready to come to blows over a pick that may have sent the gaming world in flames! These are the things we have come to expect from a Snarf Madness competition though, these men don't toe the line, they don't follow like lambs to a slaughter!  They carve their own paths, create their own rules, and pick their favorite VIDEO GAMES!!  We have many weeks to go folks so make sure you follow along as we release our picks. Yes! Snarf Madness is coming back!!!  News and what we're watching Thats right the 3rd annual Snarf Madness is happening!  We have put together a bracket that may be the hardest for Chris and Jerry to pick their winners.  This year is all about Video games!  The top 64 video games of all time have been added to the bracket and we are about ready to start, search snarftalk.com/madness to find your bracket!!  Remember you aren't picking a bracket on who you think would win, you are trying to match your bracket to either Chris, or Jerrys bracket.   We then get into some news in the entertainment world.  Season 3 or the Mandalorian has some rumored details to what the plot of season 3 will be, and the sound of it sounds much darker than what the last 2 have been.  Ezra Bridger, a main character from Star Wars Rebels has supposedly had the live action version cast.  They haven't released what show he will be on but we do have a live action version of him coming and that is exciting!   The Spiderman world started trolling everyone this last week with fake names for the up coming Spider-Man 3 movie.  Eventually though they released what the actual name and release date will be for the new film.  The beloved Kelsey Grammar had some news this week as well, dropping some info that Dr Frasier Crane will be coming back on Paramount plus, which is the rebranding of CBS All Access.  Chris and Jerry love Frasier and that makes us smile for sure!
