The Twelve O'clock Siren podcast is a captivating and well-produced show that delves into local history through the fascinating stories of its guests. Hosted by Mr. Atnip, this podcast provides an informative and entertaining experience for listeners who have a love for history and enjoy hearing firsthand accounts from those who lived it. With its engaging storytelling and well-researched facts, The Twelve O'clock Siren is definitely worth a listen.
One of the best aspects of The Twelve O'clock Siren podcast is Mr. Atnip's ability to tell a compelling story. His storytelling skills are top-notch, bringing to life the historical events he discusses in a way that keeps the audience captivated throughout each episode. The well-researched facts he presents are delivered in a colorful manner, making them easily digestible and enjoyable for listeners. It is clear that Mr. Atnip has put in a great deal of effort into researching each topic and ensuring accuracy, which adds credibility to the podcast.
Another great aspect of the podcast is its focus on local history. By featuring guests who have personal connections to the historical events being discussed, The Twelve O'clock Siren provides a unique perspective that is often missing from mainstream historical accounts. Hearing these stories from individuals who lived them adds depth and authenticity to the podcast, making it all the more interesting and relatable.
While there are many positives to The Twelve O'clock Siren, one area that could be improved upon is the lack of closing music at the end of each episode. Adding some closing music would provide a sense of connectedness and closure for listeners, allowing them to fully absorb what they just heard before moving on to the next episode or other activities in their day. This small addition would enhance the overall listening experience and provide a more polished feel to each episode.
In conclusion, The Twelve O'clock Siren podcast is an excellent choice for anyone interested in local history and enjoys hearing firsthand accounts from those who experienced it. Mr. Atnip's storytelling skills combined with his well-researched facts make for an informative and entertaining podcast that keeps listeners engaged throughout. While there is room for improvement with the addition of closing music, this does not detract from the overall quality of the show. I highly recommend giving The Twelve O'clock Siren a listen, as it is sure to leave you wanting more stories from the past.

Tom has lead an incredible life, from growing up in an orphanage to serving in Vietnam and on to being a Police Officer, Judge, and now Author. His two books "Silent Tears" and "Vietnam A Week in December 1969" explain what made Tom the way he is and the decisions he had to make. Press Release: One Week in December 1969, is a compelling read that appreciates a group of soldiers who served in the Vietnam War 1969. This book explains the event that took place in a matter of a week and was important enough to impact a certain timeline in history. Without these soldiers and their efforts, the world may not have been the same. These events have been sworn to secrecy, up until now. Tom Gillespie has finally been able to openly discuss all of the important events that took place during this time. He explains all of the precautions and the details that are necessary takes in this story. Tom Gillespie has been a law officer, a Constable, a judge, and the owner-operator of his own private security agency. In his book, you will learn more about his experience as a government contractor with a Top Secret Clearance. Tom Gillespie is not a famous person, but he should be. Few, if any, people in history have impacted world events on as large a scale as Tom Gillespie did in one week and gone completely unnoticed. Get copies of this particularly interesting read and enjoy a book that will help you realize how big the world is and how we remain unaware of the truth and sacrifices people make daily. Vietnam – One Week in December 1969 is out now on Amazon. About The Author Tom Gillespie is a noteworthy man who has lived with secrets no one was made aware of. He is not one to brag and certainly keeps himself busy. Vietnam is not his first book, and his previous release, “Silent Tears,” is his story about his childhood which is equally impressionable. He is a simple man who has stuck by his vows and lived a peculiarly secret life.
