When the prophets foretold the birth of the Messiah, they didn't speak in generalities and non-specific terms, they named names. Just about everyone knows that Jesus birth was foretold to be at Bethlehem, but did you know the Bible also gives us the exact geographic location as well? Welcome to Migdal Eder.“And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.” Micah 4:8 (KJB)On this episode of Rightly Dividing, God bypassed the palace, bypassed the temple hierarchy, and lit up the night sky for working men out in the fields, the Levitical shepherds tending to their flock in the cool late-September night. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and told them come and see where the holy baby lay. In a stone manger meant to inspect the sheep. The actual story of the birth of Jesus is so much more detailed, intricate and truthful than the Madison Ave “Christmas story” we've all been fed since childhood. Come with us on this episode of ‘Rightly Dividing' as we stand alongside the shepherds to stand in awe of the spotless Lamb lain in a stone manger for inspection at Migdal Eder.

What if your next season wasn't defined by what you make of your life, but by what Jesus makes of you? What could happen if you left the safety of your boat and stepped into boldness, simply because He said, “Follow me”?This message explores the transformational journey of Peter—from the nets of Galilee to the shepherding of God's people—and what it means for us today to live lives of deep purpose, divine partnership, and Kingdom impact. Whether you're longing for clarity in your calling or craving a fresh encounter with Jesus, this message reminds us that purpose starts not with striving, but with surrender. It's not about doing more for God; it's about following the One who forms us, fills us, and frees us into who we were always meant to be.Scriptures: Matthew 4:18–20; Psalm 23; Matthew 11:28–30; Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 12:1–2; John 21:15–17; 1 Peter 1:6–7; 1 Peter 2:9; 2 Peter 1:10; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 28:18–20Connect with us:Website: http://lincchurch.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/lincchurchFacebook: https://facebook.com/lincchurchPodcast: https://apple.co/2Jx8wG0#LINCchurch #LINC To support this ministry financially and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://lincchurch.com/giving
Are you tired of the weight of working for what God has already given? What if the freedom you're striving for is found not in the field, but in a palace—already prepared, already open? This message from Jarrod Eder, “Ploughs and Palaces,” explores the difference between surviving in the field of striving and thriving in the palace of God's presence. Rooted in Galatians 5 and the life we're called to walk by the Spirit, this sermon invites you to trade control for surrender, desperation for discernment, performance for presence. This invitation is for you: walk with the King, be led by grace, and find life in His love.Scriptures: Galatians 3:1–3; Galatians 5:1–16; Matthew 11:28–30; Deuteronomy 28:13; Deuteronomy 30:19; Psalm 23:5; 1 Peter 1:8–9Connect with us:Website: http://lincchurch.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/lincchurchFacebook: https://facebook.com/lincchurchPodcast: https://apple.co/2Jx8wG0#LINCchurch #LINC To support this ministry financially and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://lincchurch.com/giving

Predigt von Bischof Stefan Oster im Rahmen des Pontifikalrequiems zum 100. Geburtstag von Bischof em. Franz Xaver Eder

This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.JOS.15:2 And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:JOS.15:3 And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:JOS.15:4 From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.JOS.15:5 And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan.
