Yes, people are really upset that Ellen sat next to a former POTUS. We are living in some strange times. We also examine whether women are as crazy as men tend to say they are or if men are playing the victim. They all can't be crazy, right? In light of the news of Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner's split, we take a closer look at the Kardashian clan and their collective relationship misfortunes. Also, getting into a relationship with a Kardashian seems to be a death knell to your career. Is there something to this or just a coincidence? How many friends do you have? We mean true friends. Not someone who smiles in your face but disparages you behind your back. We wager that it is a lot fewer than you think. Finally, we discuss religion and its affect on our society. Hello, again! Amber Guyger was officially convicted of murder for killing an unarmed man when she mistakenly walked into his apartment, thinking that it was her's, and shoot and killed him because she thought he was a burglar. She was sentenced to 10 years and is edible for parole after 5. However, the slain man's brother's act of forgiving Ms. Guyger has caused the most controversy in the public opinion court. We dive into his forgiveness and what it means for our society. Has Kanye lost his luster? He was supposed to release Jesus is King, his latest album, on September 27th, but, as of the posting of this podcast, that album has not been released. Rather than releasing the album, Kanye has played the album for large audiences in Detroit and New York, to mixed reviews. Are we witnessing the end of Ye? Speaking of rap. Shaq (the basketball hall of fame) and Damian Lillard (current NBA player) exchange diss tracks. Yes, you read that correctly. Two basketball players have a public rap battle. Can't make up this stuff. Amare is throughly underwhelmed by Power's final season. We discuss that and why tv shows generally aren't better than they currently are. We. Are. Back! Woof Tickets Episode 50! Holy hot damn! 50 episodes! The Podcast Shaq and Kobe discuss Dame Dash shitting all over Jay-Z for his NFL deal. Which leads us to the age old debate of nature v. nurture. We ask whether success is is predicated on having the right support system in place or if some people just want "it" more than everyone around him or her. How far is too far when it comes to religion? A police officer refused to train a woman, citing his religious beliefs, and he was fired. Right or wrong? Also, a Florida couple (if they are from Florida, you know they did some crazy shit) declined to submit their child to his scheduled cancer treatments. They preferred mushroom tea and CBD oil over chemotherapy. The state took the child, claiming neglect and child endangerment. Should a state step in to dictate a child's medical treatment? Amare asks whether we give too much credit to formal education, and not enough credit to actual experience. He also gives us his Power predictions. Randy still isn't caught up, but he hates Angela, nonetheless. And, we couldn't leave you guys without discuss the announcement and set photos of Coming America 2. Let's just say we are cautiously optimistic. As always, thanks for listening. Please like, review, share, and subscribe. contact us at woofticketpodcast@gmail.com Music produced by DianaRO
