Lori Sill has been through cancer twice. When she reached her last treatment the second time, she couldn't ring the bell — she'd rung it once already, and it hadn't meant what everyone said it would mean. In this episode, Mechelle finally brings her best friend of more than a decade to the mic. Lori talks openly about what she's living right now: the recovery nobody prepares you for, the years it took last time to get her strength back, the mental gymnastics of every new ache, and why going through it a second time was harder because she already knew what was coming. She also shares what changed in round two, from how she handled the medications to the boundaries she's holding now around her work and her energy. Their friendship runs underneath all of it. They go back to the hike neither of them wanted to be on, the gas station drinks that became a lifeline, and the time on the couch when a quiz from a book pulled the blinders off Lori's marriage. Lori is also the reason this show exists — she went first into the oils, into Reiki, into the shamanic work, and left the door open behind her every time. Then they pull four Glow & Tell cards — Mind, Spirit, Body, and Soul. Lori answers what thought pattern she had to unlearn, how she explains the unseen to someone who only trusts proof, what her body does when it feels truly safe, and the difference between forgiveness and simply moving on. If you're in the after — the part where everyone thinks you're fine — this one's for you.Watch the video version in the wholeness library.Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE!Apple:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wholeness-library/id1545002697 Android:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thewholenessnetwork.thewholenessnetworkOn the web https://www.thewholenessnetwork.com/Follow ushttps://www.instagram.com/thewholenessnetwork/https://www.facebook.com/thewholenessnetworkLeave us a message! tel:646-883-3350Information is intended for entertainment only

Cat Wagner kept seeing the phoenix — in meditation, in birds, in everything — until one day she became it. That was the moment she finally named her business and stopped waiting for permission. In this Wholeness Guide conversation, Cat and Mechelle get into what it actually looks like to hold multiple healing modalities at once: Reiki Master training, shamanic technique, angelic healing, tarot and oracle, runes, the I Ching, and human design. Cat teaches full time, reads for clients online, and weaves these tools together based on what a person actually needs in the moment. We go into the question Mechelle has been sitting with: if human design says your energetic blueprint is fixed, and Reiki says energy is fluid and can shift — how do both stay true? Cat's answer is one of the clearest we've heard. She also walks us through what runes and the I Ching are and how to work with them, why she never picks the deck for you, and the most common mistake people make when they start reading for themselves — asking a question they've already decided the answer to. (Mechelle owns having done exactly that. Cat pulled the Tower. Twice.) If you've ever wanted a reading but worried you'd be handing over your own authority, this one is for you. In this episode:— Why the phoenix arrived before the business did, and what had to burn first— Holding a fixed blueprint and fluid energy at the same time— Runes and the I Ching, explained plainly— Why the Tower card isn't the bad news you think it is— Where to start if you want to read for yourselfConnect with CatRising Phoenix Website: https://risingphoenixehs.com/Instagram: @risingphoenix.ehsEmail: risingphoenix.ehs@gmail.comWatch the video version in the wholeness library.Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE!Apple:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wholeness-library/id1545002697 Android:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thewholenessnetwork.thewholenessnetworkOn the web https://www.thewholenessnetwork.com/Follow ushttps://www.instagram.com/thewholenessnetwork/https://www.facebook.com/thewholenessnetworkLeave us a message! tel:646-883-3350Information is intended for entertainment only

We're taught that needs are legitimate and wants are indulgent. This episode takes that apart. Mechelle teaches the root chakra as the home of our needs — the foundation of physical thriving — and the throat chakra as the home of our wants — the foundation of spiritual thriving, and explores why the two are a circuit rather than a ladder.Plus: the difference between ask culture and guess culture, why hinting is a root-chakra strategy doing a throat-chakra job, and the request hiding underneath every hint. You'll learn how to tell a need from a want in your own body, and why resentment is almost always an unspoken want.Closes with a guided practice: Ground and Ask. Content note: This episode includes discussion of suicidal ideation, violent crime, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Please take care of yourself while listening. Nothing here is medical advice.Mark Michaels was conceived by donor insemination in 1958 and didn't find out until he was past thirty. He calls himself an uncontrolled experiment — half joking, but only half. The medical advice at the time was to keep it secret, mix the sperm to muddy the paternity, count a live birth as success, and assume everyone would forget.Mechelle sits down with him for a conversation. They talk about what happens when the story you were never told still lives in your body. About the ten-week intensive — ketamine with EMDR, MDMA sessions, treatment goals he set and then blew past — that did more for him than decades of previous therapy. About the therapist who ended things the moment he wanted to try something new, and the one before that who fell asleep during sessions and denied it.Mark discovered his fundamental attachment style is secure. Strongly so. He had spent years assuming he was anxiously attached, reading his whole life through the lens of trauma. What he's doing now is rewriting that narrative — not to deny what happened, but to see how good it actually was underneath it. That leads somewhere provocative. Mark argues there are narrative channels we get funneled into and advocates taking control of your own story, whatever that story turns out to be. It's not what you think… My son served as a lead on Air Force 2 and worked closely with Vice President Kamala Harris — including the day there was a Havana Syndrome scare in Hanoi, and during the Afghanistan evacuation, when the plane was so full of people being rescued that he slept in the galley. In this Summer Shorts episode, Mechelle draws on those firsthand experiences — and on Kamala's remarkable public journey — to ask four questions about what it costs to carry that much, to be the first, to witness that much human need, and to choose joy anyway. In the finale of this peek-into-her-journals, Mechelle shares two journal entries separated by six years — and the revelation that came from placing them side by side. The first is the most honest prayer she has ever written. Three pleases. A broken heart. A direct question: am I going to succeed to where I feel it? The answer that arrived was immediate, expansive, and larger than language — you are the creator. What power you possess. Six years later, after a long silence, she asked again. Not from brokenness but from steadiness. Not please please please but it's been too long — what would you have me know? And what came back was the same truth, deeper and more embodied than before. You have the power to expand the universe. Your presence changes everything. Look up. This episode is for anyone who has ever written the same prayer in different words across different seasons. For anyone who has been willing, and sacrificed, and shown up broken, and wondered if it was enough. For anyone who is still waiting to feel the success of their own life — and needs to hear that the waiting itself is the misunderstanding. The blessings were never waiting. They were always yours. In this episode: What it means to ask with everything you have and receive an answer larger than language Why your blessings are not in a queue — and what shifts when you stop waiting for them How the same truth deepens across six years of living What it looks like when a prayer and its answer finally meet on the page Four integration questions to close out the series Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE! In this episode of the Journal Series, Mechelle shares a journal entry from December 5, 2023 — written after a session in a selenite cave. What she encountered in that healing space was visionary, layered, and quietly one of the most important things she has ever been shown. A heavenly home that turned out to always be hers. A house gone cold and empty — not as loss, but as invitation. A tree with three levels that reframes everything we think we know about darkness, creativity, and worth. A gruff guide named Manning who led her into the dark and walked her right back out into the light. And a room full of women — her mother, her grandmother, Mary Magdalene, the gathered divine feminine — who held a thread and pulled while she twirled free. This episode is for anyone who has ever lived in the middle and wondered if it was enough. For anyone who has bypassed the descent because the light looked easier. For anyone who has needed to be witnessed in release — not fixed, not advised, just held while they moved through it. The roots were always feeding you. You just couldn't see it from up here. Some of the truest things get said when we're not trying to say them well. In the first episode of the journal episodes, Mechelle shares two entries written almost eight years apart — one from September 2017, one from March 2025. On the surface, they seem different. One is a quiet question asked of something larger than herself. The other is a raw wrestling with fear — her own and her family's — in a world that felt like it was unraveling. But when placed side by side, they tell one continuous story. The 2025 entry asks the hard question: How do I stay present for the people I love without being consumed by what frightens them? It sits with the weight of watching fear live in the bodies of the people closest to you — and arrives at a reframe that is both simple and demanding. Bravery, real bravery, points inward first. Your inner home is where the work begins. And tending it is one of the most generous things you can offer the people you love. The 2017 entry exhales into something softer. A question about miracles. A voice that answers plainly. A reminder that you were never doing any of this alone — and that what you've been searching the horizon for may have already been speaking to you in quiet, ordinary language, waiting for you to slow down enough to hear it. This episode is for anyone who has ever felt the weight of holding themselves together while also trying to hold the people they love. For anyone who has stood at the edge of their own effort and wondered if it was enough. For anyone who is learning — slowly, imperfectly — to let themselves be met. https://www.youtube.com/@ruptureeverafter In this episode: Why tending your inner home is the most generous act you can offer others What it really means when crisis feels like the permanent condition The difference between asking for a miracle and learning to receive one Three integration questions to carry into your week Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE! There's a version of transition we talk about — the before and after, the glow-up, the lesson learned. This episode isn't that one. This is about the middle. The part where the old thing is gone but the new thing hasn't arrived yet. The part where you don't quite know who you are on the other side, and growth doesn't always feel like growth. In this episode, Mechelle explores the real difference between change and transition — and why getting that distinction right changes everything. Drawing on the work of author and organizational consultant William Bridges, she walks through the three phases most transitions move through: the ending, the neutral zone, and the new beginning — and why the middle is the place we most need to stop rushing through. She also gets personal. About her own season of significant transition, about the pressure to have meaning before the wound is finished being a wound, and about the moment she realized she had built something beautiful — and also built it in a way that quietly skirted her own unfinished grief. This episode is for anyone in the disorienting in-between. You'll walk away with something real to practice — not a way to speed things up, but a way to finally let them move. In this episode: Why change and transition are not the same thing The three phases of transition (and the one we most want to skip) What it costs to rush into meaning before you've finished feeling Three practices for letting a transition actually grow you A personal story about mastermind groups, live events, old wounds, and a sound bath that changed everything LIVE Online Class https://www.thewholenessnetwork.com/difficult-people Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE! Some of the heaviest things we carry aren't even ours — they were handed down so quietly we never noticed. In this episode, Mechelle sits down with Lisa Hartle, a neurofeedback practitioner, coach, and author of I Was Never Broken, to talk about what happens when your body finally stops letting you outrun your past. Lisa shares how a perfect storm — empty nesting, a cross-state move, a job she hated, and anxiety she'd never experienced before — cracked open five memories she'd spent a lifetime shoving and stuffing. What followed was one of the most honest healing journeys you'll hear: writing 20 ways each painful experience had blessed her life, going back as her adult self to sit with a three-year-old girl who had taken on shame that was never hers, and ultimately breaking a generational chain of addiction and silence that had run through her family for decades. This conversation covers bone beliefs, the "sonic boom" of delayed trauma, epigenetics, IFS, and why true gratitude can't be rushed to — it has to be earned through the journey. If you've ever thought, "That was a long time ago, I should be over it" — this one's for you. I Was Never Broken is available on Amazon. What if everything your body is experiencing right now started somewhere else — in your energy field, months or even years ago? This week, Mechelle sits down with Marie Manuchehri, former oncology nurse turned energy healer and intuitive, whose gifts first showed up at the bedside in the most unexpected way. Marie walks us through the energetic roots of physical health, the emotional component behind every chakra, and why the most powerful medicine you have access to right now might be something as simple as swinging on a swing. They also explore the difference between intuition and the brain (hint: only one of them is for putting IKEA furniture together), what it actually means to feel safe on Earth, and why healers especially need to spend more time in their own magnificence. What starts as a conversation about meal plans quickly becomes something much deeper — a story about grief, betrayal, the wisdom stored in the body, and what it actually means to heal from the ground up. In this episode, Mechelle sits down with Cheyenne Hawks, a gifted wellness coach who built her practice from handwritten macro spreadsheets and a yoga mat in Laguna Beach into a full coaching business rooted in the belief that food is never just about food. They talk about growing up in the era of Slim-Fast and calorie obsession, the client whose 100-pound transformation revealed everything about where the real work lives, and the business partnership that ended without a conversation — and why that loss, as painful as it was, sent her back to herself. Together, they explore what nervous system regulation actually feels like in the body, why we can't do deep healing from a dysregulated place, and how grief — layered and relentless — can either close us down or crack us wide open. This one is tender, honest, and full of the kind of hard-won wisdom that only comes from living it. When Mechelle started searching for answers about menopause, she found frustration — because her story didn't fit the standard narrative. No hot flashes. An ablation in her thirties that complicated the timeline. Months of searching before she found care that actually helped. What the clinic found changed everything: Hashimoto's, insulin resistance, and hormones that had nearly disappeared. But the most profound part of this journey came when Mechelle began to recognize her own diagnosis in her mother's health history — and understood, with grief and clarity, that the chronic conditions that led to her mother's death may have been treatable. This episode is personal, educational, and a quiet act of advocacy for every woman whose body has been signaling for help that the medical system didn't hear. In this deeply personal episode, Mechelle opens her heart and shares the story of a profound rupture in her marriage — what it was like when her spouse began experiencing a faith crisis, and how everything she thought was solid suddenly felt uncertain. She talks candidly about the grief of losing shared beliefs, the fear that comes with not knowing what's next, and the quiet loneliness that can exist even inside a committed relationship. Mechelle reflects on the hardest moments, the emotional whiplash, and the internal battles between staying true to herself while trying to hold space for someone she loves. If you've ever walked through a season where love and belief no longer aligned — or if you're navigating change inside your closest relationships — this episode offers honesty, tenderness, and hope. Sometimes rupture isn't the end of the story. Sometimes it's where deeper truth begins. Still Face Experiment Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE! Mechelle and her husband were born on the same day, in the same hospital, just hours apart. Their story started with fate, late-night drives, and a kind of young love that felt undeniable. They built a life the way we were taught to — marriage, faith, four kids, leadership callings, dream homes, vacations, and a sense that they had “made it.” From the outside, everything looked solid. Blessed. Certain. This episode is about the beautiful before — before the cracks showed, before the questions began, before everything they thought was unshakable started to tremble. They share the sweetness of how they met, the magic of the early years, and the identity built around doing everything right. But underneath the nostalgia is something quieter: the pressure to be perfect, the roles inherited, and the beliefs they didn't know were building their marriage. Because sometimes the rupture doesn't begin with conflict. Sometimes it begins inside something that once felt beautiful. Explore The Wholeness Library App FREE! Before Monte knew what to call it, he had three childhood memories that lived in his body without feelings attached to them. Strange, vivid, unforgettable — and completely emotionless. For forty years those memories just... sat there. No emotion. No context. Just stories. Then terror showed up in a bathroom, and everything changed. In this episode, Monte and Mechelle unpack what happens when emotions get locked away before you have the language to name them — and why they never actually leave. They break down attunement, the attachment styles that form when it's missing, and what it looks like to finally put the feeling with the memory. Emotions don't expire. They just wait. Many of the struggles women experience — self-doubt, over-functioning, fear of being “too much,” difficulty resting — don't exist in a vacuum. In this conversation, we gently unpack patriarchy as a system that has shaped expectations, relationships, faith spaces, leadership, and family roles for generations. We talk about: The invisible rules we absorbed Why awareness isn't the same as attack And how healing can happen for individuals and couples. For centuries, women who were intuitive, outspoken, healing-centered, or simply different were labeled dangerous. In this episode, we explore the concept of the “witch wound” — the inherited fear many women carry around being visible, powerful, intuitive, emotional, or “too much.” We talk about how this wound can show up today as: fear of speaking up shrinking in relationships people-pleasing discomfort with our own intuition anxiety around being judged This conversation is about understanding where that fear comes from — and gently healing it so we can return to wholeness. In this soulful conversation, Mechelle sits down with intuitive medium Marta the Medium to explore spiritual connection, intuition, and what it truly means to trust your inner knowing. Marta shares her personal journey into mediumship, how she learned to embrace her gifts, and what it's like to serve as a bridge between this world and the next. Together, they talk about signs from loved ones in spirit, navigating grief, and the quiet ways guidance shows up in everyday life. Marta offers gentle wisdom for women who feel called to deeper healing or intuitive living but may be afraid of judgment or “getting it wrong.” This episode is a soft landing place for anyone seeking comfort, clarity, or connection — especially if you've ever felt your intuition whispering and wondered whether to listen. Friendship in our 40s, 50s, and beyond isn't what it used to be. Life changes us. Loss reshapes us. And the ways we connect often need to be reimagined. This conversation is an invitation to let go of old expectations and open yourself to new ways of belonging, new circles, and new connections that meet who you are now. We also share the remarkable story of Phyllis Latour Doyle, a WWII resistance fighter and secret agent who parachuted into Nazi-occupied France in her early 20s. Phyllis survived unimaginable danger through courage, adaptability, and trust—often relying on fleeting connections and strangers who became lifelines. Whether you're craving deeper friendships, feeling lonely in a full life, or simply sensing it's time for something new, this episode offers reassurance, perspective, and gentle encouragement. What do you do when the old road no longer fits—but the NEW one isn't fully visible yet? In this episode, we explore the space of becoming. The tender, awkward, powerful middle where clarity hasn't landed, courage is being asked of us, and our biggest growth is often followed by our biggest “but…” We look to Joan of Arc through a lens of herstory—not as a distant saint or myth, but as a young woman who listened inward, trusted what she heard, and moved forward despite fear, doubt, and disbelief. Her story invites us to consider what it means to follow a calling before we feel ready… or approved. We also share what we've been up to lately—the shifts, the pauses, the questions, and the very human “yes, but…” moments that arise when you know it's time for something NEW, yet part of you wants guarantees first. This conversation is for the pioneers. For those standing at a crossroads. For anyone learning to walk forward without the full map. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it whispers, start anyway. This Halloween, we're stirring the cauldron of history and calling forth the forgotten healers. In this special episode, we dive into Witches, Midwives & Nurses: A History of Women Healers by Barbara Ehrenreich and Deirdre English — a spellbinding exploration of how women's wisdom, intuition, and healing magic were feared, silenced, and yet never truly extinguished. Together, we trace the lineage of the wise women — the midwives, herbalists, and medicine keepers — who were branded as witches simply for knowing the power of their hands and the mysteries of the earth. We'll explore how those ancient wounds still echo in modern medicine, and how today's healers are reclaiming the sacred art of care, intuition, and connection. So light a candle, pour a cup of something warm, and join us as we honor the witches, the nurses, and the healers — past and present — who remind us that the power to heal has always been ours. This month we're exploring No Bad Parts—and this conversation brings that lens to the body. Dr. Hall traces a health-first childhood to a chiropractic career, then reframes common fears about the first adjustment (it's safer and gentler than it looks). Through a Parts Work lens, we explore how the body's “protectors” show up: muscle guarding as a protective part, sharp pain as a signal part, and the sympathetic fight/flight system as a vigilant manager—none of them “bad,” all trying to help. We look at referred pain (the ache isn't always the source), “turned-off” muscles and reactivation, migraines as vascular/nerve miscommunications, and why babies sometimes benefit from ultra-gentle neck work after birth. Dr. Hall offers practical ways to support your inner and outer systems—posture, daily movement, posterior-chain strength—so your parts (physical and psychological) can coordinate instead of compete. We close with wholeness as bio-psycho-social-spiritual integration: welcoming every part and giving each a job that truly serves.
