It's surprising to find 23-year-old British songwriter GRIFF's feet firmly on the ground, given her extraordinary experiences the past three years. It's been a steep rocket ride: from bedroom songwriter to a powerful breakthrough performance at the BRITs, and onto the stages of stadiums with Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran. Coldplay's Chris Martin is such a fan the duo collaborated on the song ‘Astronaut'. And so here we are in 2024, and GRIFF is preparing to release her debut album vertigo in July. Not before she tells Greg Cochrane about growing up in sleepy Hertfordshire feeling like an outsider, being a foster sibling and eating chips with her all time icon Taylor Swift. EPISODE 256: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:43) SPECIAL COMMENT: “The boss wanted the server deleted.” WHY would you try to destroy the security video if you didn't do anything wrong? WHY would you try to destroy the security video if it didn't PROVE you broke the law? WHY would you move the documents after the government said don't move the documents, and WHY would you move the documents without remembering that you'd get caught ON security video MOVING the documents, and why when you DID remember that you'd get caught on security video would you then try to destroy the security video and GET CAUGHT TRYING TO DESTROY THE SECURITY VIDEO? Why would you personally launch a plot to destroy the server that seemed to have been good at only one thing – leaving clues. And oh by the way this is still on top of the espionage. I went to a January 6th Indictment and a Stolen Classified DOCUMENTS Indictment broke out! It was the cover-up sank Richard Nixon. The cover-up got Bill Clinton impeached. And THIS cover-up – Destroy the Servers, Destroy the Servers, now looks exactly like the Server cover-up Trump accused Hillary Clinton of in 2016, a theme he pounded weekly and daily and hourly and arguably won him the White House. And one thing we can infer from the superseding indictment is that the government has witnesses to whom Trump showed the Mark Milley Iran War document, and has all Trump's Property Manager's texts and it looks like it has his IT Guy, Employee 4? He and Employee 5 are testifying against Trump and they have all of Walt Nauta's messages right down to the SHUSH emoji he used to remind the person he was telling all this to not to tell anybody. (Prosecutor holds up giant blow-up of Nauta text with SHUSH emoji, six feet tall. “Perhaps, Mr. Nauta, THIS will refresh your memory!”) And let us not forget: the January 6th Indictments are still coming. Today? Beginning of next week? They remain next. POOP EMOJI! Trump's guilt is now even more obvious than ever; thus so too is the fact that we are playing Beat The Clock. Is the play now to offer to trade Trump justice and revenge in a disqualification plea deal? B-Block (22:00) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Maybe Trump had his Property Manager also send the IT guy to fix McConnell. Can he have a look at Feinstein? And while he's at it, maybe he could remove the adult content from Rep. Nancy 'I Skipped Sex To Be Here, Reverend' Mace. (26:30) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Barbie movie. Now they will ALL BE Barbie Movies. Jonathan Turley suggests Biden might pardon his son and then announce he's not running for re-election. And while Senator Tommy Tuberville is blocking military promotions, The Washington Post reports he's also dragged his own father's honorable military record through the mud by inflating his service in World War 2. C-Block (33:20) FRIDAYS WITH THURBER: I haven't read this one to you before. It's a delightfully crafted story of the crassest kind of practical joker: "Meet Birdey Doggett."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Julie from Milngavie and Daniel from Lincoln put their music knowledge to the test.
Everything Everywhere All at Once swept the Oscars, but Hollywood seems incapable of talking about the movie on its merits. After discussing the struggle between art and identity politics, Brad and Chad both fail to remember the plot to Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, despite seeing it multiple times. Then, CinTan praises the shit out … Continue reading XII – There Should be More Beat-the-Clock Movies about the Asteroid that Killed the Dinosaurs

When you go by plane, your itinerary must adhere to a certain degree of rigidity because the plane will not wait for you if you are late. In addition, if you assure a customer that you will be present at eight in the morning to prepare for a session that will begin at nine, you are obligated to show up at the specified time and be ready to go precisely when you said you would be. But at some point over the course of the years, it is possible that this has taken over your entire life.Figure out - There are numerous reasons why we play this impossible game of beat the clock. However, do you constantly battle with a clock that seems to be ticking madly? Are you living in a perpetual state of haste? Let's sort this out first. My Method – Bring your attention to the sense that you're running out of time or need to hurry up and get things done. This awareness alone will help you to halt and choose your actions.Share – If you, too, feel pressed for time or If you have accomplished this feat, I would love to hear from you. Also, if you have any successful strategies, please share them with me at bobbi@unyielded.net
Oftentimes, our mindset towards time is wrong. I see so many people coming from a place where they think time is running out. They feel like they are behind. They are trying to beat the clock. I've learned that time is really on your side. There is no finish line, so there is no clock to beat. Thinking this way will lead you away from abundance and purpose, and towards all sorts of negative emotions. If you can reframe your perspective toward time, it will become your friend. It is the one thing none of your competitors can hack into. It's an asset. Are you viewing time as something to be used, cherished, and spent wisely? Or, are you viewing it as something working against you. Click here to join our HappyLand Facebook GroupClick here to view our Land Acquisitions Bundle
WWE SmackDown full show review, results, highlights, and livestream post show for April 29th, 2022 with JDfromNY. WWE switched creative plans tonight, and have now cancelled the WWE Tag Team Title Unification Match at Backlash. Instead, we are getting a Six Man Tag with Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre included. This is a TERRIBLE idea, and exposes the lack of creativity WWE does have. The #1 priority should have been the Tag Team Titles, and all of this should have been creatively booked better. Also, Ronda Rousey continues to put people to sleep in her feud against Charlotte Flair as they are set to compete with each other in a "Beat The Clock" challenge. Also, Drew McIntyre steps inside a steel cage with Sami Zayn. On AEW Rampage, more qualifying matches for the Owen Hart Cup as Swerve Strickland takes on Darby Allin, and Samoa Joe defends the Ring Of Honor Television Championship against Trent Barretta. In Episode 1074, Sean Woodley goes solo to react to the Toronto Raptors' 110-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. Off the top, Sean digs into where things went wrong for the Raptors that led them to their heartbreaking end in the game, including a no-show from most of the bench and a very clear lack of defensive cohesion with Precious Achiuwa out of the lineup. Next, Sean talks about how the Raptors' turned things around after scoring just 12 third quarter points to nearly pull out a miraculous comeback. Pascal Siakam (23-10-5 on 10/15 shooting), Scottie Barnes (18-8-5) and Gary Trent Jr. (24 points) were particular stand-outs, with Fred VanVleet eventually joining in on the fun. To close things out, Sean hands out the Dude of the Game to a very deserving Justin Champagnie. Let's hope he gets another shot at a game-winner some day.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar.
