Benjamin Rivers has an impressive portfolio of illustration and design to his name, but it was his ambient horror/thriller game Home that first got our attention. Praised and (sometimes unfairly) disregarded for its rather unorthodox approach to narrative, Home forces the player to create their own narrative in their heads by providing as little context as possible while letting them choose how in-depth they choose to go. It isn't surprising that Ben would prefer a good story over much of anything else, but it was surprising to hear just how far his stories go.

Recorded live Monday, December 3 2012. Join us Mondays for the live show here! This week Nathan gives us a movie run down with Life of Pi, Seven Psychopaths and Killing Them Softly while Paul catches up with the home release of ParaNorman and revists the Cabin in the Woods. Nathan plays some more NintendoLand and Paul talks about why he loves Halo 3 ODST and is really into Dishonored while the two try to be as vague as possible about Benjamin Rivers’ indie game Home. Also, we give out some copies of Home and a THQ Humble Bundle to some lucky listeners in the live show chatroom!
