Leading up to the release of Llamasoft's I, Robot, Atari put on the I, Rebel game jam, challenging independent creators to "create a game Jeff Minter will love." Everyone had one week to create the game and a secret theme to abide by. Then, it was up to Llamasoft to judge the winners. Also joining is friend of the show and Dream Disc '24 judge, Derek Pascarella.The Dream Disc '24 game jam was created with the aim of uniting the talented developers of the Dreamcast homebrew scene behind the shared challenge of developing new software for the console in a short space of time. Each of the 24 software entries submitted to Dream Disc '24 is unique, with an eclectic mixture of gameplay, graphical styles, and game engines on offer. La troisième édition du Game Jam de Québec se déroulait du 4 au 6 octobre. Cet événement réunissait des passionnés de jeux vidéo, professionnels et amateurs, pour créer en 48 heures un jeu vidéo complet autour d'un thème imposé. Hugo Vandal-Sirois explique que cette compétition, non compétitive et axée sur la collaboration, encourage l'entraide entre équipes et la création de liens. Des mentors issus des grands studios de Québec viennent soutenir les participants. Le Game Jam gagne en popularité, avec des équipes venant même de France et de Montréal. Les jeux sont accessibles sur la plateforme Itch.io après l'événement.
