Matt gained popularity back in the early GamerGate days doing social commentary and critique videos. Six years ago, he made a couple mistakes that ended up essentially ruining all traction and goodwill he had but that doesn't mean he gave up. As of today, you can still find him multiple times a week doing Boulder Talk Radio on his channel and twitter page where he covers a variety of topics, with strong emphasis on politics. Matt and I talk about the old internet days, a lot about GamerGate, catch up on how we know each other and a bit about a lot of different things like Ghostbusters, Melissa McCarthy and politics. Humanity is saved. Ash has a store, Kelly is running a bar and Pablo is fixing electronics at his fish and chips stand. All is good until a murder that reeks of Ruby is spotted and shortly after everything goes to crap. Can Ash do the impossible and save humanity AGAIN while... being a father?! This is the final episode in our Evil Dead coverage (for now)! Episode hosts: Paul (twitter.com/exfauxsure) Hank (twitter.com/comicpanels) Survive The Night is a podcast series in which every episode a piece of horror media is thoroughly examined by the hosts and talked about at length. My regular co-host Ben is gone on vacation so instead of putting out nothing, I decided to talk with another friend that I do another podcast with as he has started reading Berserk recently as well so we talk about the Golden Age arc as a whole and some thoughts about the pop culture impact Muira has had and taken inspiration from as a whole. Enjoy, struggler!
It's a big one, so get ready... The Nagoya basho is going on so of course a bit of sumo talk. It's been a year so we run down where Nathan has been, specifically about his sicknesses with COVID-19 and a rash of some sort that hospitalized him for a week! In TV: Seinfeld, King of the Hill and Bob's Burgers all get a bit of time until we dive into Stranger Things discussions (no spoilers) and whether the fourth season of that is actually any good. In books: New Yorker movie critic Pauline Kael's greatest hits get a new life on Nathan's iPad along with Berserk?! Also, Cruelly Yours, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of the Dark, and Leviathan Wakes (the first book of The Expanse series) The Outer Worlds is finally given it's due diligence and some baseball talks around Nathan seeing an Okotoks Dawgs game before getting a little bitter about The Batman and Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and in general the MCU Phase 4 properties at large. At least Jurassic World Dominion is good under the influence of some happy time drugs. To end things off, we have a discussion about Jeff Gerstmann leaving Giant Bomb and Nathan finally played Dungeons & Dragons when he and some friends got together to do the Tomb of Horror module. All this and much, much more in this catch-up episode of the Pixel Response podcast!
How does a second season of Ash vs. Evil Dead follow up such a strong first one? By being MUCH CRAZIER! We get some great stuff with Ash's dad, possessed cars, mind-altering demons and...a cabin in the woods? Who saw THAT coming?! Take a listen and find out... Hosted by: Paul (https://twitter.com/exfauxsure) Hank (https://twitter.com/ComicPanels) Intro/outro: Ko Ko Koreena — Ahmed Rushdi

It's the 40s and we get the story of Aisha, Kamala's great grandmother, and the origins of the bangle. Turns out it's main use is a time-travelling flare gun or something. Who knew? Weird episode, terrible if you care about the MCU stuff, pretty OK if you care about the story of India being colonized and separated by the British...which I do! A young director with a vision and permission from Raimi gives a new look and feel for a classic series. Whether you love or hate it, this is definitely a much more serious take on a silly classic. Episode 3 and we find out who Kamran and his mother actually are. You'll never guess... Nope! Wrong. They're a random group with a small footprint in Marvel that no one cares about. Yeah... Anyways, Pakistani weddings seem cool as hell and Yusuf is still great and we get a belt whip villain guy...thing. Not too impressed right now.
