Thimble finds himself face to "face" with a pair of floating gloves and a disembodied voice, while Pine swiftly steals a magical key off of a wicked Hag Aslynn. Last we left our smooth-brained adventurers, they left the city of Mirabar and traveled south to the Xanatharls keep. When they arrived they were rushed inside the walls as there was a giant attack approaching. The Giant had gathered a small army of Ogers and goblinoids. our party quickly relized the attack was a distraction and sussed out the actual threat. 10 Bugbears had snuck inside to kipnap a dwarf after resucing the dwarf Ruhn realised it was the Weevil a crimminal that had gathered the attention of many organizations in the north for his daring heist. After rescuing him, Ruhn used the leverage to mot only take the money he stole but press the Weevil into his service. Peanut and Oddie proceeded to crub stomp the giant. The Four Stones stumbled onto Glass Staff’s study through a secret door. Sildar was surprised to find his old friend Inarno had betrayed him and the Lords Alliance. After a brief struggle Glass Staff was tied up and questioned. He admitted that he worked for the Bleached Spider but he was unaware as to the location of Wave Echo Cave and only the Bugbears knew the way. Sandowhish in revenge stabbed Glass Staff in the side and was quickly pulled off by Sildar who wanted Inarno to face justice infront of the Lords Alliance. The Four Stones moved into the next room which was Glass Staff’s laboratory where Sandowish and Splendorious mixed their own concoctions, each ending with disastrous results. Once they had recovered The Four Stones moved to the next door which they found blocked. When Sildar pushed through the door they found their Bugbear allies pass out from an hour of heavy drinking

Simon Cox with Jason Barnard at TakeItOffline Brighton 2019 Simon Cox talks with Jason Barnard about Google bugbears and Gremlins. Why should we respect web standards when Google doesn't even respect those who DO respect them? There are more invalid sites on the web than valid. I suggest 98% with absolutely no supporting evidence. Simon wants a reward system for well-built sites. I suggest that there maybe an indirect ranking benefit. Simon refutes rather deftly. He then moves on to getting inaccessible US results on Google UK. More and more US sites are blocking EU visitors due to GDPR, money-saving and copycatting. The bugbear goes further to include a rant about US-centric results. Next onto the homepage deindexing issue – 6 days to fix a bug is simply too long. Are Google losing control with the AI stuff they are pushing out? Simon suggests that Google's AI is all string and sticky tape with Homer Simpson in charge. Then onto a gremlin about structured data. Apparently Screaming Frog have a great validation tool (that I didn't know about)… and he loves their customer support (and Hover's). Today's episode is the last of Series Two. It began as a question posted on the MeWe group entitled “The Arduin Grimoire by Dave Hargrave”. From this stepped forward today's guest. We arranged to chat online but, on the night, the technology let us down. After some tinkering and typing, we agree to hop onto the Anchor app and record the interview using our phones.Gabriel Roark is a Californian, married, and the father of one. An archaeologist, focused on California Indians and historic archaeological sites across the state, he has been a gamer since 1983, beginning with the Lone Wolf series and Mentzer's Red Box D&D. Like many, Gabriel had a gaming hiatus in the early 2000s owing to graduate school, having a young kid, and full-time employment. Gaming picked up again around 8 years ago when Gabriel taught his daughter to play D&D. He has been running an Arduin campaign for nearly two years and considers himself a Hargrave enthusiast. He's even been known to publish a ‘zine called Bugbears & Ballyhoo through the Alarums & Excursions APA.
