ENTER THE CONTEST: https://upvir.al/137114/lp137114We met Julie and Hugh on the docks of a small harbor on Drummon island in the upper peninsula of Michigan right on the edge of Canada. Their schooner, the Huron jewel sailed into harbor majestically as we waited to board, and to set up the podcast. The Huron Jewel is a beautiful 78 foot to mast, gaff rigged, schooner built by Hugh and Julie and many volunteers and currently on an extreme inspiration tour covering nine months sailing down on the East Coast and into The Gulf of Mexico. This is one of the few times that we've done a two person interview, and what a delight it was to be a fly on the wall for an hour of their love. I'd describe their love as a matured one, with a dash of puppy. They complement each other's answers and finish each other's questions. It's no surprise to learn that it was love at first sight when they met. Julie and Hugh are living out their dream. They are all in 100% dedicated to the Schooner to sharing to stay the beauty and serenity of sail. Listen to Julian Hughes episode to learn what it is to live an intentional life, one where everything you do has consequences and those consequences are intertwined with your daily life. Jessica Drummond MPT, CCN, CHC is the founder of the Integrative Women’s Health Institute and the leader of the course I’m currently studying; Integrative Women’s Health Coaching! Jessica has over a decade of experience as a women’s and pelvic physical therapist and has studied at the University of Virginia, Emory University, The Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and Duke Integrative Medicine. Yes - this lady definitely knows what she’s talking about when it comes to women’s health, especially pelvic pain and endometriosis. Jessica’s approach to treating people with pelvic pain and endometriosis is holistic and focuses on the whole person; their lifestyle, trauma, genetics, food and even their spirituality. She takes a Functional Medicine perspective, which looks at the root causes of a condition and addresses those factors, rather than simply treating and often masking the symptoms. In this episode, Jessica and I discuss why it’s so important to have a support network when living with pelvic pain, how the foundational pillars of our life need to be in place if we want to heal endometriosis pain and her functional nutrition approach to the endometriosis diet. Jaime shares her life, from her time when she was a constant giver, taking care of others constantly, and not taking care of herself at all. As a result, she became physically ill. Slowly, she decided to trust her loved ones. Taking baby steps, she managed to extract herself from a full time care giver and begin to take care of, and love herself. Jaime is passionate about women living a life under their personal values. She eliminates overwhelm, guilt, and shoulds. Jaime will guide you to know and step into a life lived in ease and flow (and don't forget fun!) What was the one thing that was holding you back from accepting self love? I wanted to be “low maintenance,” which meant “to have no needs.” Who is one person who has changed your life for the better? My now husband is on the tip top of that list. He has been a beacon of unconditional love and support as I have grown into a person that accepts all that I am. What is the best advice that you have ever received? When I was thinking of whether or not to take a job, my dad said, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” He gave me permission to commit to something with the knowledge that I don’t have to do it forever. What is your favorite self care habit? Meditations and visualizations recorded in my own voice. What is your favorite quote? “It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.” Leonardo DaVinci What is your favorite app or resource to help with our own self care practice? An app called “water daily.” It helps remind me to drink water. What book are you reading right now? Abundance Now, by Lisa Nichols What is the one thing that you are most passionate about? I am most passionate about women living in their own personal values. So many women are “living in the shoulds” and I really love to help women find a place to live without the “shoulds.”

Crime Does Not Pay was an anthology radio crime drama series based on MGM's short film series. The films began in 1935 with Crime Does Not Pay: Buried Loot. For the most part, actors who appeared in B-films were featured, but occasionally, one of MGM's major stars would make an appearance. The radio series aired in New York on WMGM (October 10, 1949-October 10, 1951) and then moved to the Mutual network (January 7-December 22, 1952). Actors included Bela Lugosi, Everett Sloane, Ed Begley, John Loder and Lionel Stander.
The Man In Black,Between 1943 and 1955, BBC Radio produced one of its most famous horror series, "Appointment With Fear". It was presented by Valentine Dyall (above), an actor who had made his radio debut in 1936 as The Man In Black, a creepy raconteur who picked up news of the spooky bits of life. In sepulchral voice, he introduced the story, made comments afterwards and sometimes provided short narrative links. In 1949 The Man In Black was awarded a series of his own, called "The Man In Black", with a very similar format to Appointment With Fear. This included such stories as R. L. Stevenson's Markheim and M. R. James's classic Whistle and I'll Come To You.
