Wondering what a neuropsychological evaluation actually tells you – and what to do with the results? In this episode, CHC experts, Joaquin Burciaga, PhD, and Whitney Geller, PhD, break down how neuropsych testing helps clarify a child's learning, attention, memory, language, and emotional regulation – so families can move from questions to a clear plan. You'll discover what a neuropsych evaluation for kids really is (and what it isn't), how it differs from the psychoeducational testing done through schools for IEP or 504 support, and the signs that suggest it might be time to consider one – whether you're navigating ADHD, autism, learning differences, or anxiety. Our experts also share practical guidance on how to cut through the jargon, focus on the summary and recommendations section, and turn that thick report into actionable next steps that actually help your child.Whether you're just starting to wonder if testing might provide answers or you've got a report sitting on your desk that feels overwhelming, this conversation will help you understand what these evaluations reveal and how to use them to advocate effectively for your child.CHC offers free 30-minute consultations to help families decide their next steps.Resources:CHC OnlineCHC's Catherine T. Want to know exactly how I grew my Instagram to 200K+ followers without guessing what to post every day? In this episode, I'm breaking down the exact system behind that growth: the Core 5 Framework. This is the simple, repeatable content strategy I've used for years on my own account and with clients to build audiences, create engagement, and turn Instagram into a real sales machine. If you've ever felt overwhelmed trying to figure out what to post, chasing trends, or posting randomly and hoping something works, this episode is for you. I'll walk you through the CORE 5 types of posts every business needs: You'll learn how these five categories work together like a social media sales cycle, how often to post, and how to create a weekly plan you can follow without burning yourself out. This isn't about trends or viral hacks. It's about a proven framework that actually works long-term. Plus, I'll share how you can take this strategy even further inside Social Media Sales School, where I teach the full step-by-step system, caption formulas, content calendars, and tools to make Instagram feel easy instead of overwhelming. But behind the scenes, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and missing moments with the people I love most. The wake-up call came at my son's baseball game when I realized I was so focused on work that I missed one of his biggest moments. That day changed everything. In this episode, I'm sharing my honest story of stepping into my “soft girl era” as a business owner and mom. Not soft as in giving up. Soft as in calm, intentional, and no longer wearing burnout like a badge of honor. I'm walking you through the 10 practical changes I made to slow down, protect my peace, set boundaries, and redesign my business so it supports my life instead of consuming it. If you've ever felt torn between wanting a big, successful business and wanting to be fully present for your family, this episode is for you. You don't have to choose between ambition and presence. In today's episode of Call Her Creator (powered by Stan), I'm sitting down with the incredible Shannon Gillette. Oh, and she's built an Instagram brand that's closing real business with nearly 100,000 followers. But here's what I love most: Shannon didn't start with a platform. She started from scratch in 2015 with no money, no clients, and zero followers. Now she leads a top-producing team selling hundreds of homes a year, and she credits one thing more than anything else. Instagram stories. This is not a fluff conversation. Shannon breaks down the systems, decisions, and behind-the-scenes effort that helped her build a personal brand that converts attention into income. We talk about how she treats Instagram like a reality show (not a commercial), why she posts five stories a day, how she uses video hooks to stop the scroll, and how she creates content that attracts the right people instead of trying to appeal to everyone. If you're a creator, entrepreneur, or service provider who wants to grow your audience and actually turn that growth into revenue, you're going to love this one. -Follow Katelyn on instagram -Follow Shannon on instagram Thank you to my sponsors: Stan: Join the Dare to Post Challenge-a 30-day challenge designed to help Creators turn their dream into actual momentum. When words fail, creativity carries what the heart still needs to say. In this episode, Peter Fenger sits down with three powerful storytellers: Chelli Look and filmmaking duo Blue Gerber and Jason Gerber. Chelli is a fashion artisan, creative collaborator, and storyteller whose work is rooted in emotional depth and intentional design. After years in luxury retail and leading her own leather goods brand, she transformed her craft into a healing practice following the devastating loss of her sister to domestic violence. Her journey has carried her from retail floors to artisan studios in Florence, and now into partnerships with brands that use design to tell meaningful human stories. Joining her are Blue Gerber and Jason Gerber, a husband-and-wife directing team based in Los Angeles. Known for their award-winning film “Otis' Dream” shared by Oprah and recognized by President Obama, the pair specialize in emotionally resonant storytelling across film and commercial work. Their latest documentary, “Dawn Dusk”, captures Chelli's personal journey with care, beauty, and deep respect for the healing power of art. Together, we explore how grief can be transformed through creativity, how art becomes a vessel for meaning, and how “Dawn Dusk” emerged as both a portrait of loss and a celebration of light, memory, and resilience.   For more information about “Dawn Dusk” documentary directed by Blue & Jason Gerber, please visit: https://www.dawnduskfilm.com For more information about WINGS, victims of domestic violence program, please visit: https://wingsprogram.com  For more information about Blue & Jason Gerber, please visit: https://www.jasonandblue.com For more information about CHC leather bags, please visit: https://shopchc.com For more information about Chelli Look, please visit: https://www.chellilook.com Connect with Dawn Dusk film on social media: On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dawnduskfilm/ On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dawnduskfilm On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@dawnduskfilm On TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dawndusk_film On Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/film/dawn-dusk/ On IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30988883/

Wchodzisz w to? Naprawdę ♥️ Podcast „Kiedy życie mówi sprawdzam” to podcast krążący wokół takich tematów jak: odporność psychiczna, rezyliencja, nadzieja, odwaga, czułość, miłość, miłość do siebie, bliskość, zaufanie, siła, pewność siebie, wiara w siebie i swoje zasoby. Dziękuję za każdy komentarz, każde serduszko, każde udostępnienie

The legality of the working hours done by the Shannon unit of the Coast Guard has been questioned in an Oireachtas Committee. Since, Bristow Ireland took over the contract from CHC, workers completing a 24-hour shift have been required to sleep on-site during breaks, rather than going home. Now, however, unless crews are tasked during expected rest time, their shifts will only be logged as 16.5 hours long, with Coast Guard personnel only allowed to work a maximum of 2,000 hours per year. Speaking in the Oireachtas Transport Committee, Clare Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe says the practice is artificially lowering employee work time.

Około 1400 lat przed Jego narodzinami Mojżesz głosił te same wspaniałe prawdy.

In this heartfelt episode, CHC experts, Karly Crockett, LCSW, and Rachel O'Harra, LMFT explore how kids experience loss within the family system and why grief should be shared, not silent. They unpack how grief shows up at different developmental stages—from toddlers to teens—and share real examples of what to say (and what to avoid) when talking to kids about death and loss. You'll learn how to support children through emotions that ebb and flow, from confusion to anger to moments of calm, and how your own grief as a caregiver can shape theirs. Because when caregivers make space for a child's feelings, they build connection, resilience, and hope that lasts a lifetime.Resources:CHC OnlineCHC's Catherine T. Margo is joined by husband-and-wife directing duo Jason & Blue Gerber, an award-winning team working across films and commercials. Their creative synergy has led them to direct for brands like Walgreens, 7UP, Chipotle, Intelligentsia, and LOEWE, while also producing heartfelt storytelling work for organizations such as The Boys & Girls Clubs, Athletes Unlimited, and Lincoln Park Community Services. Their short film Otis' Dream, about voter suppression, was shared by Oprah as an official Super Soul Sunday short film, and their commercial and nonprofit work has been recognized with industry honors including a Silver Telly Award. Together, Jason & Blue bring both tactful precision and deep feeling into everything they create, evoking imagination and authentic human narratives as one voice. In this conversation, Margo, Jason, and Blue dive into the power of collaboration, storytelling that heals, and the journey of their new feature documentary, Dawn Dusk. Margo, Jason & Blue discuss: From college pals to co-directors: how their friendship at Columbia College Chicago grew into a collaborative career. What it takes to truly direct as a duo—prep, trust, communication, and playing to each other's strengths. Choosing projects that center the human spirit, resilience, and creativity. How a short five-minute idea evolved into the four-year feature documentary Dawn Dusk, following artist Chelli Look's journey of grief and healing through her leather goods business, CHC. The role of composer Silas Hite's score as the “unseen narrator” guiding the emotion of the film. Why experimentation, patience, and deep listening are essential for creative work that connects. The Hidden Ingredient That Could Transform Your Health with guest expert Serena PoonIs This Serving Me?It's easy to forget that food nourishes more than just the physical body—it also feeds our emotional and energetic selves. Some meals are more than just nutrients on a plate; they're prepared with intention, love, and care—and that makes a difference.Yes, love is an actual ingredient. You might've heard of “Vitamin L”—that invisible but powerful energy you infuse into meals when cooking for someone you care about. That's energetic nutrition. And when we approach food with this kind of consciousness, we feed our whole being: physical, emotional, and spiritual.A simple practice I share with my community—and I'd love to offer yours—is to turn your gratitude practice toward food. Even if you don't currently have a daily gratitude routine, it's never too late to start. Begin by taking a quiet moment before meals to offer thanks—not just for the food itself, but for how it supports your entire being. In this episode, you will learn:Importance of preparing food with love (“Vitamin L”)The role of gratitude while preparing mealsImpact on physical, emotional, and energetic bodiesMindful inquiry: Is this serving me right now?Eating from joy vs. eating from stressSelf-Compassion in Health PracticesAcknowledging the challenge of maintaining routines (e.g., diet, exercise, meditation)Transcendental Meditation (TM) as a Healing ToolEncourages forgiveness and non-judgmentGratitude Practices for Holistic HealthIntegrating gratitude into daily ritualsUnderstanding Food Cravings HolisticallyDifferentiating physiological needs (e.g., magnesium from chocolate) from emotional cravings… And much more.About our guest expert: Serena PoonSerena Poon, CN, CHC, CHN is a certified nutritionist, celebrity chef, Reiki Master, and wellness advisor to A-list clients including Tom Brady and Sofía Vergara. If you are having thoughts of suicide, feeling suicidal, or have concerns that someone you know may be at risk of suicide, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or text HOME to 741741 to reach a crisis counselor. You are not alone.Teen suicide is one of the most challenging topics we face as a community, yet it's crucial we address it head-on. Listen to this conversation with Stanford's Shashank Joshi, MD and CHC's Jennifer Leydecker, LMFT as we talk about youth suicide and explore comprehensive prevention strategies that work at the community level. Our conversation includes an examination of what makes teens vulnerable today, including the complex role of social media and digital environments in both creating risk and offering protection. We explore how factors like LGBTQ+ identity, bullying, academic pressure, and family dynamics intersect with suicide risk, particularly here in Silicon Valley and the SF Bay Area, where we've experienced the profound loss of teens to suicide. Rather than shy away from this difficult reality, we address it directly to strengthen our prevention efforts.Resources:CHC OnlineSign Up: CHC's Parent Support GroupsCHC's Catherine T.
