They captured the 2003 New York State Championship. Before his coaching career, he played at St. John's University and was drafted in the 28th round by the Texas Rangers where he played one season of pro ball. We are recording live from The Greene Turtle in Smithtown, NY with special guest Rick Garrett. He is the Head Coach of St. Joseph's College. Over his six seasons, he has won two Skyline Conference Championships (2016, 2018). Previously, he was the Head Coach of St. Dominic HS where he helped build the program into a CHSAA Championship in 2009 and seven consecutive appearances in the Finals. SJC lost to Maritime in extra innings in the playoffs to end their 2019 season, but return their four starting pitchers and look to get back to the top of the conference.
