Colonel Dunn is a combat-proven pilot who has flown dozens of missions in some of the world’s most volatile war zones. He shares his no-nonsense, informed perspective on how this tragedy could have occurred in one of the world’s most heavily monitored air corridors. His military helicopter pilot expertise and credibility make him an invaluable voice in understanding this tragic event. He is a military attack helicopter pilot who has flown in and around Washington, DC. With decades of experience navigating high-stakes aerial operations, Colonel Dunn can tell us more about: -Why this military helicopter training flight might have veered into Reagan National Airport's flight path -The strengths and vulnerabilities of the Blackhawk UH-60 helicopter that collided with the American Eagle flight as it was about to land in Reagan National Airport -The 12th Aviation Battalion, based out of Fort Belvoir, which provides helicopter transportation and “technical rescue support” to the National Capital Region -Whether Washington, DC’s crowded airspace—encompassing Reagan National, Dulles, BWI, Andrews Air Force Base, and more—poses systemic risks to aviation safety William Dunn is the President of Strategic Resilience Group, LLC. He started the company in July 2016 after his retirement from a 33-year career in the United States Marine Corps, during which he rose through the ranks of Private through Sergeant, and Second Lieutenant through Colonel. He attended Old Dominion University, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration; and Boston University, where he completed his master's degree in Business Administration. He also completed a master's degree in Strategic Studies. One of the early storylines for Penn State football is that they're a top team contending for the National Championship and quarterback Drew Allar is again in the conversation for a Heisman. But how realistic is any of that? Today on the BWI Live Show, we discuss the factors that would lead Penn State to another deep playoff run and a chance at a Championship in 2025. Join the show at 10 a.m. to get your thoughts on those subjects, plus join the BWI Mailbag portion, back from its postseason hiatus. As always, the best way to know when we go live and post breaking news, or other great content is to subscribe to the Blue White Illustrated YouTube Channel and enable notifications. Allar for Heisman? The early odds for the Heisman winner in 2025 are out, and Drew Allar has the fourth-best odds of any player in college football. Is that realistic? We discuss what it takes to win the award and how the Penn State offense can help or hold Allar back. The Nittany Lions need Allar to take the next step and become the best version of himself next year, but does that correlate to postseason awards? We'll discuss the tactical ways that can happen and what the most realistic outcome is as we sit in January. Next, we'll discuss the biggest questions for the Penn State offense and defense, which was part of Greg Pickel's "Four Thoughts" from yesterday. Does Penn State have enough NFL talent to win a championship? We'll continue our theme of Penn State's path to a National Championship by discussing a tweet from Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy. In a social media post on Tuesday, Nagy claimed that it takes NFL talent to win a championship in college football. He posted the last six winners of the CFP and the number of NFL Draft picks they had in that year's draft. Where does Penn State stand with potential draft talent for 2026? We'll look at that and examine this article from yesterday about how many players the Lions may realistically send to the NFL after next season. BWI MailbagFinally, we'll discuss your questions and thoughts in the BWI Mailbag! We opened the weekly thread Wednesday morning and are featuring the best questions from the BWI message board to end the show. However, we'll answer your questions live on the show! The Buckeyes defeated Notre Dame 34-23 in Atlanta to secure the championship in a game that Ohio State dominated after the opening scoring drive from the Fighting Irish. Now that the season has finally ended, we're looking ahead to 2025. What does Penn State need from its roster to get back to the Playoff in next fall? We'll be counting down the top five position battles that need to play out for the upcoming season. We'll also update fans on the defensive coordinator search the Penn State has been operating since Tom Allen took the same job at Clemson a week ago. Fans are antsy to have the answer about who will lead the Nittany Lion's defense this coming year and to know more about what that unit will look like with new leadership. We'll also update you on the latest recruiting news. Join us today at 10 a.m. on YouTube, watch the replay in on the channel, embedded in this article, or listen anywhere you get your podcasts. The National Championship from Penn State's perspective Penn State was only a few plays away from defeating Ohio State in the regular season in Happy Valley last November. After watching Notre Dame have few answers for the Buckeyes on the biggest stage, you can't help but wonder how the Lions would have fared in place of the Irish. We'll start the show discussing last night's game, and what it means for Penn State, the Big Ten and college football. From there, we'll discuss the team's top position battles that will take place in the coming months. The roster is set for winter conditioning and spring practice, so who has a chance to fill a role vacated by exiting starters and veterans? We'll rank the top five most important positions up for grabs this coming spring, summer, and fall. Defensive Coordinator Search Penn State is still without a defensive coordinator as of the airing of Tuesday's show. What is going on with the search for Allen's successor? Hello Everyone, Today I am joined by Suvi as we discuss home sickness in ballet. We both ventured form our home towns and travelled to Russia at a young age, not knowing the language or even what to expect. Being very close to our mothers made things that much harder but we realised some very key important components and mindset tools that made this more manageable. In the end we have to do uncomfortable things to come out the other side the person we dream to become. I hope you enjoy this episode and it helps you :-) Enjoy!
