Listen to our interview with Icenrye of Prince George, Canada. We first talked with him on episode 17 which was only the second video interview to hit the feed. Many listeners will know him though through his Trackfile video podcast. He told us again how he started with the Magellan SporTrak, followed by the Magellan SporTrak Map before moving into the Garmin GPSMap 60CSx. Now he's using the Garmin Oregon 450 which arrived from Santa this past Christmas. The old units are loaded through GSAK, but the Oregon is loaded by draging the GPX files right to the unit. He's also using the Apple iPhone with Groundspeak's Geocaching iOS App and Geocaching with Geosphere. This time he also talked about his favorite cache -- "Yacky's Giant" (GC735E). He also recalled a favorite event cache -- "10 Years! - Prince George BC" (GC2402N) -- where he interviewed some newer cachers for the Geocaching Podcast. His dream locations include Australia, International Space Station, Oregon, and Washington. He recommends fellow cachers visit Prince George, Okanagan, and Vancouver. He is also playing with Foursquare on his iPhone, but Darryl and Drie suggested he check out Gowalla. His favorite book is "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Musical favorites include Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bon Jovi, and Jimmy Buffett. His favorite movies are those with Steve McQueen. The caching couple started with the iPhone 3G and Groundspeak's Geocaching App but has since added the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx which they load through the Geocaching website and the Garmin Comminicator Plugin. They're favorite place they've cached so far has been the Seven Lakes State Park. They would like to cache Europe and Hawaii. On television they like "30 Rock" and "The Office." Listen to our interview with Capt Biggins of Tampa Bay, Florida. He learned about Geocaching from a TechTV interview with Jeremy Irish (October 30, 2000 according Geocaching.com's Press Archives). While the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx is his current GPS, he started caching with the Garmin GPS 72. Cachemate on his PocketPC takes care of his paperless caching needs. His most memorable early geocache was "The Scavenger Hunt Cache" (GC480C) -- a locationless cache which gave him the chance to take a photo of a motorcycle officer with a GPSR and a Barbi doll. The most memorable cache was "Mission 9: Tunnel of Light" (GC1169), found during his trip to the Seattle area where he also visited the Groundspeak headquarters. Some day he hopes to cache in Glasgow, Scotland and Hawaii. His favorite hide is currently "Using Your Mind's Eye" (GC1G8YA) which is a visual puzzle that draws fun comments from the Finders. As for music, he enjoys Jimmy Buffett.
