Dr. Fresch interviewed on the Mobile Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 4/28/23   About Dr. Fresch -   In 2013 after winning Insomniac's Discovery Project Contest, Tony Fresch launched the Dr. Fresch brand. His debut self-titled EP and innovative hip-hop/rap remixes quickly exploded in the blogosphere. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Fresch was subsequently featured at #9 on Billboard Magazine's “Next Big Sound” Chart. His music weaves together elements of house, hip-hop/rap, and midtempo to create a unique, forward-thinking sound.   Over the summer of 2015, Dr. Fresch launched his semi-monthly mix series “House Call” which has since garnered tens of millions of plays. Each installment features a 30 minute Dr. Fresch mix followed by a 30 minute guest mix and is featured on Sirius XM on Mondays.   Dr. Fresch's 2016 collaboration with Baby Eazy-E (Eazy-E's son) “Gangsta Gangsta” went viral online and climbed the UK Club Charts setting the tone for his future releases. At the top of the year Dr. Fresch released a 21 track compilation album, “The Remedy Volume 2,” featuring 23 other prominent house artists. Dark Mark on the Mobile Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 10/01/22 About Dark Mark – Seattle based DJ/ Producer DarkMark, has been heating up seattle dance floors since 2001. DarkMark, AKA, Mark McClure, got his start playing in the seattle underground scene. Playing Venues like Naft Studio, FX, electric Tea Garden. After a short time he was on a regular rotation at top clubs in seattle like: LSC, Trinity, The Underground, Medusa, Contour, and Noc-Noc. In 2010, Mark met Darran Bruce, Creator/Executive Producer of the series The DJ Sessions. Shortly after he signed on as the first resident DJ for the show. In addition Mark began working with Televisionary Records, headed by top Seattle DJ Channel Surfer. This relationship also saw Mark dabble with a live band side project “Station2Station”. After a long colorful stint in the club scene, Mark decided to chase his other love, cooking. Mark returned back to Seattle after a six year stint of traveling the world as an in-demand private chef. With him came a even more deeper connection to life, music, happiness, and the desire to share that with the world. DarkMark, AKA, Mark McClure, got his start playing in the seattle underground scene. Playing Venues like Naft Studio, FX, electric Tea Garden. Avian Invasion on the Mobile Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 7/1/22 About Avian Invasion - Avian Invasion used to be just a man, but a very old one. As he grew older, vital functions began to fail: He lost the ability to hope and, with it, the ability to dream. His eyes began to fail, so all he could see was darkness and fear. His hearing faded to a point where every new song only sounded “not as good as music used to be.” All of this took a toll on his heart, until eventually that too threatened to break. One day, when it seemed he would finally just wither and turn to dust, he was given a great gift. He was rebuilt, piece by piece… the broken parts replaced, the damaged parts repaired. Now he isn't entirely a man, but not entirely a machine either. Zorion Pt. 2 on the Mobile Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 2/4/22   About Orion - The Founder of Orion Entertainment, David Schwartz, started his DJ company when he was a freshman at the University of Washington. He got his start DJing house parties in the Greek System, and eventually transitioned into playing nightclubs, bars, and private events.   Six years later, David, (Orion) has performed at hundreds of events all across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Now a premier destination wedding and event DJ his love for music and travel has propelled him from Hawaii to Boston. David loves to blend unexpected genres and decades together. In 2019, he received recognition from Honey Books and the Rising Tide, as one of their 20 on the Rise for 2019 in the Event Professionals Category. In 2020, he was nominated for DJ of the Year, a quick mix competition for open format DJs, and placed 6th overall.  His favorite show he's ever played was 2020's New Years At The Needle. His favorite electronic genres to spin include bass house, progressive house, tropical, tech, deep, future and more. About Zona - Growing up in Southern California, ZONA found his passion for music at a young age and has been following that passion ever since.  Being a newcomer in the industry, ZONA started DJing as a Senior in High School in 2018 playing small gatherings and parties for friends. As he went off to Seattle to attend the University of Washington, he transitioned into playing large house parties and formal events in the Greek System. ZONA has also garnered attention on SoundCloud through posting a variety of different DJ mixes, most famously his Cocktails & Dreams Mix Series. As COVID 19 hit the world, he switched over from performing to live streams on Twitch and has been on the platform since. Along with that, he is also within the private event space through Orion Entertainment playing at various locations throughout the state of Washington. There is nothing better for ZONA then setting the vibe for an event and watching everyone dance. His favorite feeling is playing a track the crowd isn't expecting and watching the bodies fill the dance floor right after. Founded in 2018 by music manager Christine Hufenbecher and sound engineer Kenny Moran, Los Angeles based Mobile Sessions is a unique remote audio recording and production studio, built into a custom-designed 30ft RV. The idea was inspired by our every-day experience with the music creative community and the world of live sound recording over the past 20 years. One facet of Mobile Sessions is the capability of remote music recording. Imagine songwriting, recording, producing or mixing in unconventional, off the grid locations! Mobile Sessions has the ability of taking recording sessions to any drivable destination, from oceanfront in Malibu to the vast plains of the Mojave desert. The other facet of Mobile Sessions is geared towards the producers of audio-visual content and live music. Mobile Sessions has recently partnered with a video production company to produce livestreams and live music productions at various indoor and outdoor locations. They can stream broadcast quality feeds straight to the brand's or artist's social media (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo Live) and allow viewers to engage live.
