ALEPH - GLOBAL SCRUM TEAM - Agile Coaching. Agile Training and Digital Marketing Certifications

Just like Batman's tool belt, a #social media marketer's toolbox is equally important. Neither fight crime or publish tweets without it. Since #social media barged its way into our lives there have been thousands of #social media tools released into the wild. While you may have started with a simple tool like Hootsuite to manage your social channels, there are now an overwhelming number of choices. A quick search tells me there are over 200 apps on the Google Play Store alone to help you repost photos on Instagram. With so many options, how can you determine what tools are the absolute best? Thankfully we've experienced the same problem. Overtime and through plenty of trial and error we've figured out what tools actually make an impact. We use these tools for ourselves and recommend them to others who need help. Here is our list of the 15 best #social media tools for #social media #marketers. 1. Buffer Buffer is the #social media tool of choice. In addition to its clean interface and unparalleled user-friendliness, Buffer provides great insights to help any marketer make the most of their #social media marketing efforts. 2. Hootsuite Still surprisingly the gold standard for social media management tools. Hootsuite allows you to schedule, track, and collaborate on your social media accounts. It's particularly good for large organizations or agencies who manage multiple accounts and pages. 3. Nuvi Used by brands like Uber, Chevron, Nissan, and more, Nuvi is a #social media marketing suite that is unique in its stunning #social media data visualizations. Nuvi simplifies #social media data reporting and monitoring, so marketers can focus on shaping their #social media strategy. 4. MeetEdgar MeetEdgar is one of the leading #social media management tools for small businesses and entrepreneurs. MeetEdgar provides an effective way to schedule and organize content and automate publishing. With automation features, MeetEdgar automatically generates social media updates for your content and posts them even when you get to the end of your content queue. 5. Post Planner Post Planner claims to apply science to social media and content to identify the best content for your audience. Users can browse Post Planner's recommended feeds to discover new content, and its algorithms measure data from previous posts to predict future engagement and help shape social strategy. 6. CoSchedule Though CoSchedule is actually a full-fledged marketing calendar, it's a great choice for #social media marketers as well. By linking all of your platforms and managing them from CoSchedule, you're able to plan, promote, and execute your entire strategy from a single tool. 7. Tweetdeck Tweetdeck, now owned by Twitter, is a simple and fully-featured dashboard for Twitter. It organizes feeds, notifications, messages and more using an easy-to-follow column view, and supports management of multiple accounts, making it perfect for the #social media marketing enthusiast. 8. Rebrandly Rebrandly is the most advanced link shortener for creating branded links and custom short URLs. Behind every piece of valuable information you share online, there's a link. Every one of those links is an asset to your company. With Rebrandly you are able to put your brand on your links. 9. Canva Canva makes it easy for anyone to create gorgeous images. It features multiple fully-editable templates and a drag and drop editor that gives even the most visually-illiterate marketers the ability to design great visual content for sharing on social. 10. Pablo Pablo is another visual media tool, created by Buffer, With over 50,000 images and a simple drag and drop editor with over 25 fonts, Pablo is one of the easiest ways to create engaging images in different sizes for every social network. Pablo even features several filters to make your images stand out. 11. We 'break kayfabe' on this week's NTR! Host Nav Nanwa kicks things off on this week's show being joined by Michael Vickers and Nuvi Sidhu from the Brampton Arts, Culture and Creative Industry Development Agency. This past February, the city of Brampton took a step forward in its ambitious vision for the arts and culture sector by starting the Agency. It was formed to act as an arms-length group that will be able to execute the priorities that were listed in the city's 2018's Culture Master Plan. Nuvi and Michael talk to Nav about the agency's creation, its priorities, and how people can get involved. And then we switch gears to welcome Rapper Cadence Weapon. Originally from Edmonton, Cadence bursted onto the scene in 2005 with his Polaris Prize shortlisted album 'Breaking Kayfabe' This former poet laureate has consistently rejected trends and has trusted his instinct to produce some of the most innovative hip hop you can hear anywhere. His new album Parallel World comes out on April 30th, and unearths the alternate reality that lies beneath the surface of our society. Nav talks to Cadence about the album, the lost art of CD burners, why it's important for him to use his voice for social justice. #181 - John Jonas gets REAL about hiring Filipino virtual assistants with OnlineJobs.ph

John Jonas lives in Utah, and he founded OnlineJobs.ph. His life is better because of his Filipino virtual assistants. John had a regular "job" for eight months after college, and his biggest goal at that time was to be able to quit that job. John managed to quit back in 2004 and worked from home for himself ever since then. When he first hired someone from the Philippines in January of 2006, John knew he was onto something special. Since then, John has learned that for most people, life is better with Filipino workers on your team. Yes, because of his Filipino workers, he gets to play golf, spend loads of time with his wife and kids, and get out backpacking in the middle of the week. John works for about 17 hours a week because of the fantastic work they do.   In this episode of the Be Real Show, Jon and Travis open up the show discussing the need behind hiring Filipino virtual assistants. At first, John had a reference from someone to hire his first VA full-time. It was working so well; John wanted to create a platform for himself and others to find VAs without going through a company. The most common job on OnlineJobs.ph is a virtual assistant. Anything that can be done online or on a computer is done – building websites, data entry, admin work, and telemarketing. Then, John explains the cultural differences of people in the Philippines versus other cultures – people there are unusually loyal, hard-working, and honest. Stay tuned to hear John answer the top ten questions, including some cool places in Utah to check out.   Connect Twitter - https://twitter.com/johnjonas?lang=en Website - http://johnjonas.com Online Jobs - https://www.onlinejobs.ph Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/johnjonasofficial/   Resources Mentioned PayPal - https://www.paypal.com/us/home Nuvi - https://nuvi.com The Book of Mormon The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy Rich Dad Poor Dad   People Mentioned Russell M. Aravindh Baskaran joins Tim Keirnan for a critique of the Garmin Nuvi 2598LMTHD. We follow our usual critique structure that includes the following: Encounter Decision Purchase Out of the Box Initial Use Longitudinal Use The Garmin 2598 is an interesting mixture of excellence and frustration. On the positive side, we found that * The map screens, both day and night versions, are very well designed. * The voice sounds terrific because it is both pleasant stylistically and cuts through the noise of the car sonically. * The device is fairly quick in its operation, including finding satellites (unless you are indoors, but why are you driving indoors?) On the negative side, we found that * The vaunted voice interface doesn't work well at all. Very frustrating. * The un-changeable and incessant alarm for school zones within a half mile of the car is extremely frustrating and can make us ignore alarms in general. * The unit occasionally freezes and no amount of pressing or tapping the screen will bring it back, forcing the user to unplug power from the unit and restart it. * Inexplicable routing can ignore oft-travelled commutes and actually send us the long way around. And sometimes Tim got a different route home if his address was in the Home saved location rather than his address being in the Recent list. * The settings don't encourage quickly finding what you want to adjust. Finally, email from listener Katie was a wonderful compliment to starting a new year of episodes. Thank you for listening, Katie.
