Because of the work I do to help people adopt dogs from dog rescues and shelters across Ontario, I occasionally get feedback from people regarding their personal experiences with dog adoption. In the past year, I have had 6 people share strange and abnormal adoption experiences with me and 5 out of 6 of these experiences have been with the same Toronto-based, GTA dog rescue that I will not name for legal purposes, but think you'll be able to figure out by the time you're done this episode or reading the comments on social media. The term scam is defined as a deceptive act or operation. This term covers more than just the people on Petfinder posing as dog rescues that are taking your money before you even see a dog. It also applies to the RARE dog rescue or shelter that is misleading adopters by failing to provide support, care and information that is necessary for the health and safety of everyone involved in the dog adoption process. The five experiences that were shared with me fit the description of a deceptive operation. So today I'm going to, anonymously, share some of these experiences as these people have either received threats to not speak about this dog rescue or are fearful because this rescue organization is known for trying to hush whistleblowers. So, listen along as we point out the red flags present in these experiences, as well as some additional red flags I recommend you watch out for in order to avoid disreputable dog rescues while searching for a rescue dog. Please note that 1 red flag does not a scam make but three or more is a sign that you would be best to look elsewhere!MORE DOG RESCUE RED FLAGS

It's Christmas time! So, like everyone else we have made our top ten list of our favorite Christmas movies (Term used loosely as one of us included "Die Hard," and the other isn't sold that it's a Christmas movie.) Join us for this festive and controversial podcast and let us know your favorite holiday flicks!
Poison frogs. And they fight. Umm...it's probably best just to listen to find out what more there is to this show. (Hint: Not a whole lot, but we give you the all-important kid and grown-up survivability ratings as always!)
You've probably seen "Braveheart." Have you ever wondered what happened next? Netflix's "Outlaw King" tells the tale of Robert the Bruce and Scotland's attempt to gain their freedom from England. We'll let you know if it's worth your time or if you should just go watch "Braveheart" again.
It's Christmas time! So, here's our first review of a new Netflix movie starring Kurt Russel. With so many options of what you can watch to get in the Christmas mood, does Netflix hit or miss with "The Christmas Chronicles"? Listen in and find out! Don't forget to subscribe and give us a review so we can improve on what we're doing.
What would happen if Edgar Allen Poe (and a little bit of Mad TV) wrote stories about the Old West? The new Netflix movie, "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs" will give you a taste. And we'll give you our take on whether or not it's worth checking out once the kiddos--or pets--have been put to bed.
Re-booting material from the 80's can be a tricky thing. Are Netflix and Dreamworks up to the challenge with the new show "She-Ra: The Princess of Power"? Well, obviously we'll let you know. I mean, that IS the whole point of the podcast, after all. Click play and listen in!
A British "whodunnit" from Netflix with Richard Madden (Rob Stark from "Game of Thrones). Another bad case of our English accents are mixed with this review, so beware! But, we do at least let you know if this 6-show series is worth your time.
I'm...writing...in...slow...motion. Listen...in...to...learn...why. (I'm...also...in...High...Definition...)
Are you just going thought the motions and feel like your routine needs a shake-up? Marc and Roxanne have some ideas. And what are your family eating habits like? Some fresh tips for you on the PG Podcast!
