Hi everyone. What a great week of podcasting. And of course I'm talking about our new rating system - PG for Podcast Gold, which is EGGzactly what happened at Dave Attell's birthday dinner when, once again, your pal Dave Juskow was the only one not to get his dinner. At this point I almost want it to happen because it's podcasting hilarious. And the best part is always -- I keep going back.

I start the episode riding high off a homemade sandwich and the confidence only Martin's BBQ chips can give a man. From there, I immediately make a series of adult financial decisions I should not be allowed to make. I lock down a signed Jake Paul Pop Century card, talk myself into wearing it as a necklace, and openly admit I need my phone taken away before Facebook Marketplace and TikTok live sales ruin my life. This is what happens when you give someone adult money and internet access.Then we get into the storm. The storm of the century. The storm with a PR team. Winter Storm Fern. According to the internet, Pennsylvania is getting anywhere from one inch to ninety eight inches of snow, trees are exploding in Canada, and grocery stores are out of everything except Dasani. I break down the panic, the fake urgency, and the group hysteria while delivering the only six winter survival tips you will ever need. These tips are foolproof, medically questionable, and absolutely not approved by anyone with credentials.From there, we spiral into Soulja Boy's fashion empire, influencer politicians, and the idea of Farrah Abraham becoming the mayor of Texas. I question who is buying Soulja Boy shoes with his face on them, wonder how much money it would take to ruin my public reputation with a full outfit, and seriously consider a future where podcasts replace government. None of this feels fake anymore and that part is concerning.I wrap things up with a rapid fire run through Mission Impossible logic, why the mission is always possible, why the bad guy is usually HR, and why face masks solve every problem. The woman was walking with a cane when she placed it on an X-ray machine.  TSA officials stopped the machine and removed the cane. They pulled it apart and determined it was a cane sword where the blade is concealed inside the core of the cane.  Army Of 50 Inflatable Santa's Take Over Town The NY Post says an army of 50 giant inflatable Santas has taken over residents' front lawns in Lehi, Utah. Visitors driving through the neighborhoods say The Santas just kept coming with every turn, leaving everyone laughing so hard. Residents are embracing the holiday spirit in a big way with the imposing matching decorations. Coloradans Vote Down a Big Cat Hunting Ban: A Win for Hunters & Conservationists Colorado voters rejected a proposed hunting ban on mountain lions, lynx, and bobcats in a significant win for hunters and conservationists. The measure, Prop 127, would have banned hunting and trapping of these animals and limited the state wildlife management experts' authority.  The proposal was seen as a potential gateway to more hunting bans and a shift away from science-based wildlife management. The ban failed by a margin of over 55%, with 1.3 million "no" votes against 1.1 million "yes" votes. The opposition, including hunters and conservationists, argued that the decision should remain with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, not through public ballots. Wildlife professionals also expressed concern that the ban could set a troubling precedent for future wildlife management decisions. This vote follows the controversial 2020 approval of a gray wolf reintroduction, showing that Colorado voters are closely watching wildlife policy. As the snow and winter conditions settle in, many children here in Massachusetts simply don't have the proper clothing to stay warm in the cold as families struggle to find enough money to go around to pay for essentials. Cradles to Crayons Boston is based in Newtonville, and they work with agencies and non-profits around the Commonwealth to get comfortable, warm clothing and other personal supplies out to as many children as possible. Executive Director Alicia Kabir, who recently joined the team, talks with Nichole about their "Gear Up for Winter" initiative and her plans for the non-profit's future.
