Martha Byrne, is an American actress, singer and television writer. She played the role of Lily Walsh Snyder on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns from 1985 to 1989, then again from 1993 to 2008; as well as, from 2000 to 2003, Lily's twin sister, Rose D'Angelo. Byrne has also appeared in other stage, television and movie roles, including the title role in the 1983 film Anna to the Infinite Power. She is currently executive producer of the digital drama series Anacostia, where she has played the role of Alexis Jordan since 2011. Byrne has won three Daytime Emmy Awards for acting. Byrne began acting at a young age when she joined the cast of the Broadway musical Annie, where she played the role of July. She was a featured actor on a number of prime time episodic television programs, including Kate and Allie, Murder, She Wrote, Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Jake and the Fatman, In the Heat of the Night, and Hearts are Wild. Byrne also appeared in several television movies, with featured roles in When the Cradle Falls and Pink Lightning. Byrne's best known film role was as the title character in the 1983 film Anna to the Infinite Power. In 2010 she provided the commentary for the film's DVD release. Et tout au long de la saison, ce sera des références plus ou moins subtiles qui viendront saupoudrer une petite note d'humour. De nouveaux visages rajeunissent la série avec notamment Shirine Boutella en Carson qui devient l'élément perturbateur. Puis s'ensuit une liste bien garnie de personnages plus ou moins récurrents parmi Mélanie Doutey, Ophélia Kolb, Panayotis Pascot, Claudia Tagbo, Mister V, etc. Humour absurde, action, les plus nostalgiques seront comblés. L'écriture joue la carte ancienne garde contre nouvelle garde, où Bullit et Riper semblent être dépassés mais réussissent quand même à faire mouche par hasard. À côté, leurs histoires personnelles avec Bullit qui va se marier et Riper qui rencontre quelqu'un, il n'y a pas que le dossier en cours qui compte. Dr. Norman Rose, D.O. FACOS, FICS, DFACOS is the former president of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, served as residency director, and even trained under A.T. Still's son. In his 60 years of teaching, Dr. Rose has had over 10,000 students. In February 2021, Dr. Rose received the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association's Presidential Recognition Award for his dedication to the profession.
