Jessi LaRose is the Director of strategic initiatives at Missouri Foundation for Health and she runs the Missouri Foundation for Health's Firearm Injury and Death Prevention program. D'ailleurs, je vous partage deux merveilleux souvenirs de roses de Jean Guichard, le père d'Aurélien et le grand parfumeur derrière Loulou de Cacharel, la Nuit de Paco Rabanne…ou encore So Pretty de Cartier.Alors, qu'il ramassait les roses dans la propriété de sa mère, où l'on posait les roses sur des sacs de jute. Ce dernier ma confia « De ces instants, j'ai, comme gravé dans ma mémoire, un accord qui oscille entre des accents grossiers, râpeux, presque "pomme de terre", de la toile de jute et une cascade de notes fraîches, raffinées et très féminines de la rose." C'est dans cette propriété que j'ai eu la chance d'ailleurs de rencontrer la mère de Jean et les champs de rose, de jasmin et verveine à Grasse, au début de ma carrière. Je vous livre une autre belle histoire... Jean rêvait déjà d'une rose pour homme. Une idée qu'il mûri, il y a quelques années, alors qu'il jouait aux boules, fin mai dans le Midi. C'est alors qu'un merveilleux effluve de rose est venue le déconcentrer en plein jeu. Aucune femme n'était dans l'assistance. Ce n'est qu'au bout d'un moment qu'il a réalisé qu'elle venait d'un joueur, qui en était imbibé !" Son parfum mystérieux se révélait d'une élégance que l'on pourrait conjuguer sans souci, au masculin. Certes, c'est un parfum qui flotte dans l'esprit de Jean depuis son enfance.De toute évidence, Aurélien aura hérité de cette passion pour la rose Centifolia. Et il nous en parle dans cet épisode avec beaucoup de vérité et de sincérité. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose (R) issued new guidance over the weekend that limits the use of drop boxes in the state. Democrats in the state said the rule disproportionately impacts seniors and voters with disabilities and violates state law. The aim of the directive, according to LaRose, is to enforce Ohio's ban on “ballot harvesting,” which is “a process by which an individual attempts to collect and return absent voters' ballots of other persons without accountability.” Lawyer and former Chairman of the Ohio Democratic David Pepper explains.
