#layondantas #finlandia #fcjazz
Suomen Messi & Runosmäen Jeesus Joni Kauko liittyy linjoille suoraan Kolkatasta ajassa (32:05). Vajaan tunnin setissä Kake kertoi mm fiiliksistään Intiasta ja oluen hintatasosta. Episoden alussa ja lopussa otettiin syyniin SJK, Kups & Fc Inter.
The final weekend of the Veikkausliiga 2021 season was full of drama. First played second, as KuPS hosted HJK in a battle for the title. While third played fourth, as Inter hosted SJK in the bronze medal match... and what accommodating hosts they were too! This game also turned into a shoot-out for the top scorer prize, with Benjamin Källman and Ariel 'Tuco' Ngueukam going toe-to-toe in this game, and both finishing on 14 goals for the season. Mark H, Rich, Keke and Mark W get together to review the final weekend's action and let's just say, there were mixed emotions for the FFS team! We also look at the action in the Veikkausliiga/Ykkönen play-off between AC Oulu & RoPS. Kuopion Palloseura on päävalmentaja Simo Valakarin ensimmäisellä kaudella noussut haastamaan HJK:n kamppailussa jalkapallon Suomen mestaruudesta. KuPS on pelannut Veikkausliigassa jo 16 ottelua ilman tappioita ja ohitti HJK:n runkosarjan viimeisellä kierroksella paremman maalieron turvin. Päävalmentaja Valakari saapuu etänä ohjelman vieraaksi juuri ennen Veikkausliigan ylemmän loppusarjan käynnistymistä. Miten Valakari valmennusryhmineen on saanut KuPS:in näin kovaan syysvireeseen, vaikka takana on pitkä kausi, kahdeksan ottelun europelikarsinnat Konferenssiliigaan sekä avainpelaajien menetyksiä? Simo Valakari kävi Lindgren & Sihvosen vieraana 2015 valmennettuaan SJK:n Suomen mestaruuteen, mutta kuinka paljon miehen valmennusfilosofia tai ajatukset pelistä ovat kuudessa vuodessa muuttuneet? Mitä Valakarille opetti kolmen vuoden pesti Norjan pääsarjassa Tromsø IL:n päävalmentajana? Ohjelmassa kuullaan myös Valakarin mietteet Huuhkajien esityksistä kesän EM-kisoissa sekä ajatuksia valmentajan pojan Onni Valakarin ominaisuuksista jalkapalloilijana. Väittelyissä Manse PP:n pesismestaruus, TPS:n koirankopit sekä PSG:n tähtiloisto
This was a game in which the Huuhkajat were looking to cement a place in the knockout stages, and to show the watching world, that the win against Denmark was not just the result of extenuating circumstances. It didn't quite go to plan... Mark H, Rich and Keke review the action as Finland had an early goal disallowed for offside, before eventually going down to a goal from Al Miranchuk just before half-time. They also look at Finland's potential path through the Euros and talk about the FFS team's busy schedule of media appearances around the world on the mainstream media. And by the way, Producer Mark was working, not moonlighting for SJK. Working! Show notes and links

In this episode, the FFS team is missing one or two key players. Not because of injury or poor form, but because of holidays. Mark has a had a challenging summer and is taking a well-earned break. Similarly, Keke seems to have ventured overseas for a family vacation. But we didn't want to keep you waiting, so this episode is Mark W and Rich, possibly joined by Keke. We will discuss our recent predictions competition (if a survey that collects answers but offers no prize can be called a competition!) We will then look at how the opening 7 rounds of Veikkausliiga action has panned-out. Who is leading the table? Who has already fallen behind? And why does Rich keep trolling me about the form of SJK? I have to also give a shout out to Kevin Cumming in our Facebook group. He found us recently and has listened to the entire back catalogue. Kevin - THANK YOU!
Mark W talks to SJK Seinäjoki's new 1st Team Coach, Joaquin Gomez about his bold move from Spain to the UK and dramatic rise, as a coach and assistant manager, through the Football League (EFL). We talk about how meeting Sami Hyypiä and Antti Niemi, later led to opportunities to become coach for Finland U21s and, latterly, SJK. Finally, he explains how they are keeping the SJK players fit, physically and mentally, during this period of uncertainty. Show notes & links
How do we talk about Finnish football, when there's no football in Finland to talk about? In this mini-series, Behind the Quarantine, we will speak to people behind the scenes of Finnish football to find out how their daily routine has been affected by COVID-19. In this episode, Mark W speaks to Richie Dorman, the British technical director of SJK Seinäjoki. Episode 16. We've been a bit quiet recently, so episode 16 is a ‘Summer 2017 Catch-up' and it's a long one. Finally, we turn to SJK Seinäjoki (again) for a managerial change (again!) With Jose Manuel Roca being shown the door, SJK are now onto 4th manager in one season. At the end of the podcast there is an interview with Lari Paski at SJK. Show notes & links
