They played the Sunset Strip and toured the U.S.A. After he left GEISHA, Jef formed his own band. After playing a show one night at The Whiskey, he met actor Willie Aames who attended Jef's show. Willie was a teen idol star from the ABC show called EIGHT IS ENOUGH. Willie asked Jef to write songs for an upcoming album he was about to make and their recording sessions ultimately landed Jef to act in the last season of EIGHT IS ENOUGH as Willie's best friend and bandmate. Jef played on Tori Amos' LITTLE EARTHQUAKES, international artists James Reyne( Australia), Paul Hyde (Canada), Gregory Gray (Ireland), The Royal Macadamians, and Olivia Newton-John, to name a few. When Jef wrote songs and recorded James Reyne's album, James invited Jef to be his musical director and put a band together in Australia. Jef moved to Melbourne in late 1987, founded a great band including Andy Cichon (current bass player for Billy Joel), and toured the whole country of Australia for two years. In Australia, Jef formed a band called COMPANY OF STRANGERS. It was and still is one of the most successful albums in Australian history, winning Simon and Jef 3 ARIA Awards. Jef is signed to Sony/Orchard and continues to release new music. He has also written songs for TV shows SONS OF ANARCHY, VAMPIRE DIARIES, BEVERLY HILLS 90210, and MELROSE PLACE For the past 15 years, Jef and his writing partner Cody Marks, have teamed up with Wayne Kramer( MC5) and the organization JAIL GUITAR DOORS, playing concerts at California State prisons. Jef is also the creator and host of the popular podcast featured on Radio Candy Radio, BATWINGS. He got recognition after posting many of his songs on YouTube under the username 'Liso' and winning the Music For Water" song contest in 2020. Inspired by legendary Michael Jackson to become a singer, he was later influenced by R&B stars like The Weekend, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, and Neo. BEKX Bekah Grace Goodman (Bekx) was born in the heart of the South; Atlanta, Georgia, then moved to Santa Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California at a very early age. Bekx and her family were blessed to live in the very center of Catalina Island at Middle Ranch. Here she spent most of her childhood outdoors and at the beach, camping, surfing, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and playing in the dirt! Since a young age, Bekx has been involved in music, dance, acting, and sports, as well as the LA County Junior Lifeguards. By her teenage years, she found that her true passion was to be on stage. Bekx has performed at many locations, such as Wilshire Ebell Theater and the famous Casino Theater on Catalina Island, and received top awards at multiple singing competitions before the age of 17. Bekx and her family moved to Pensacola Beach, Florida during her teenage years. It's here that she was able to meet country artist Brooke Woods and opera singer Summer Watson, who have both inspired and supported her through her artistic journey, from vocal lessons, studio recordings, and introducing her to a new world of music performers. Bekx's love for music and singing has only grown, To this day, when Bekx isn't in the studio or working on new songs to share, she enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, family, and her dogs, Drogo & Lola. Now in her early twenties, Bekx resides in Nashville, TN, and hopes to spread her love of life and music Up-and-Coming artist Bekx has worked alongside Sony Orchard and is recording with music producers Elisha Hoffman and Rebecca Lynn Howard (Grammy Winner) on her first album. Since a young age, Bekx has been involved in music, dance, acting, and sports, as well the LA County Junior Lifeguards. By her teenage years, she found that her true passion was to be on stage. Bekx has performed at many locations, such as Wilshire Ebell Theater and the famous Casino Theater on Catalina Island, and received top awards at multiple singing competitions before the age of 17. Bekx and her family moved to Pensacola Beach, Florida during her teenage years. It's here that she was able to meet country artist Brooke Woods and opera singer Summer Watson, who have both inspired and supported her through her artistic journey, from vocal lessons, studio recordings, and introducing her to a new world of music performers. Bekx's love for music and singing has only grown, To this day, when Bekx isn't in the studio or working on new songs to share, she enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, family, and her dogs, Drogo & Lola. Now in her early twenties, Bekx resides in Nashville, TN and hopes to spread her love of life and music Up-and-Coming artist Bekx has worked alongside Sony Orchard, and is recording with music producers Elisha Hoffman and Rebecca Lynn Howard (Grammy Winner) on her first album. Bekx is also working with promotors Lincoln Morris (Bar None) and Rod Anthony, who have brought her together with artists such as JC for collaboration on a new song, Unnatural. Bekx's first single, “Scissors”, was released at the end of June 2019, along with this sensational music video. She then followed that hit with an original Christmas special, “I Still Believe”, along with another great video.
