The Engage for More podcast is an absolute gem in the world of podcasts. As a listener for several months now, I have been continuously inspired and encouraged by the stories shared and the practical advice given by these incredible women. Each episode is filled with wisdom and insight that can benefit anyone, regardless of their stage in life. From the energy and aura of the hosts to the biblical truths they share, this podcast has truly helped me feel supported, loved, and closer to God.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the authenticity displayed by the hosts. They are not afraid to be real about their own lives and struggles, which makes listeners like myself feel brave and understood. It is empowering to hear that others go through similar challenges and that there is biblical truth to guide us through them. Additionally, I appreciate how each episode includes practical advice that can be applied to everyday life. Whether it's strengthening relationships or finding purpose, this podcast consistently provides valuable insights.
While it may be subjective, one potential downside of this podcast could be a lack of diversity in terms of perspective and experiences. It would be beneficial to hear from a broader range of individuals who could offer different insights and perspectives on various topics. However, it's important to note that these three women do an excellent job of sharing their own experiences authentically and relateably.
In conclusion, The Engage for More podcast has been a tremendous source of inspiration, encouragement, and spiritual growth for me personally. The vulnerability displayed by the hosts allows for deep connections with listeners as we navigate life's challenges together. I am grateful for their commitment to sharing the message of Jesus in every episode and providing practical guidance on how to experience "the MORE" He came to give us. This podcast is truly a blessing worth listening to week after week.

Worry is a common struggle for Christian women in leadership—but Scripture makes it clear that anxiety is not a neutral habit. In this episode, we explore why worry is a deterrent to becoming the leader God is calling you to be. Using Matthew 6:25–34, we examine Jesus' teaching on worry, trust, and kingdom focus, and how anxiety quietly undermines clarity, confidence, and intentional leadership. Worry shifts leaders from faith-based decision-making to fear-driven control, draining peace and limiting influence. This episode reframes worry as a spiritual and leadership issue and offers biblical insight into how trust in God's plan restores peace, focus, and leadership effectiveness. In this episode, we discuss: Why worry is more than an emotion—it's a leadership issue How anxiety competes with trust in God's provision and sovereignty Why worry clouds clarity and weakens confidence How Jesus calls leaders to seek God's Kingdom first What it looks like to lead intentionally without fear or control This conversation will encourage Christian women leaders to release anxiety, trust God with outcomes, and step fully into faith-based leadership aligned with God's plan. Overthinking is a quiet struggle many Christian leaders face. It often shows up as excessive analysis, fear of failure, and a deep desire to control outcomes—all of which slowly drain peace and undermine trust in God's sovereignty. In this episode, we examine what the Bible actually says about overthinking and why Scripture consistently calls leaders to trust God rather than rely on their own understanding. Overthinking is not simply “thinking too much”—it is often a form of under-trusting God, where anxiety replaces confidence in His guidance and timing. Rooted in biblical truth, this episode reframes overthinking as a spiritual issue of trust, peace, and surrender, and offers practical, scriptural steps for leading intentionally without mental exhaustion or fear-driven striving. Key Biblical Perspectives on the Overthinking Leader: Overthinking vs. Trust: Overthinking often reflects a desire to control outcomes rather than rely on God's direction and sovereignty. A Threat to Peace: Excessive thinking fueled by fear and anxiety robs leaders of peace and mirrors biblical definitions of worry rather than wise planning. Spiritual Warfare: Scripture reveals the mind as a battlefield, where anxious and fearful thoughts can distract, discourage, and exhaust leaders. The Command to Trust: God calls leaders to trust Him fully rather than lean on personal understanding, promising guidance and direction. Stillness Before God: Biblical stillness is an act of surrender—releasing control and trusting God's timing and power rather than forcing outcomes. What the Bible Says About Overthinking: 1 Peter 5:7 – Casting all anxiety on God because He cares deeply for His people Proverbs 3:5–6 – Trusting the Lord instead of relying on personal understanding Philippians 4:6–7 – Replacing worry with prayer to experience the peace of God Matthew 6:25–34 – Jesus' warning against worrying about the future and His call to trust God's provision 1 Corinthians 14:20 – Encouragement toward mature, purposeful thinking rather than anxious or obsessive thought patterns Practical Biblical Steps for Leaders: Shift Focus: Replace anxious thoughts by meditating on what is true, honorable, right, and pure (Philippians 4:8) Delegate Control to God: Intentionally surrender outcomes, timelines, and results to God Turn Overthinking into Prayer: Transform mental “what ifs” into active prayer and trust This episode is an invitation for Christian women leaders to stop striving for control and start leading with clarity, peace, and intentional trust in God's plan. Leadership rooted in faith does not require mental exhaustion—it requires surrender. We also look at what Scripture teaches about stewarding time wisely and why obedience to God's instruction brings freedom, not restriction. As the year comes to an end, it's natural to start thinking about goals — getting fit, saving money, improving relationships, or managing time better. But before you rush into setting goals for 2026, this episode invites you to pause and consider something far more important: your character. In this episode, we talk about why character matters more than success, achievement, or influence. When we grow spiritually and become more like Christ, every other area of life is impacted naturally. We reflect on the life of Jesus — His obedience to the Father, His love for people, and His humility in leadership. We also revisit the powerful moment between Jesus and Peter after Peter's denial, where Jesus restores him and calls him not just to say he loves Him, but to serve Him. Using 2 Corinthians 3:18 and John 21:15–17, this conversation challenges Christian leaders to reflect honestly: Does my life reflect Christ? And have I truly committed my life to Him? If you're ending the year in reflection and preparing for what's next, this episode will help you realign your heart, your leadership, and your priorities with what matters most. Do you ever wonder if you are making a difference? As a Christian, are you impacting lives and pointing them to Jesus? Have you committed to rise up and allow God to use you? In today's episode, I am talking about 3 ways to Rise Up and Make an Impact. It matters. The Bible tells us that if we love God, we will walk in obedience to Him and He clearly tells us to go into all the world and tell them about Jesus. That sounds like more than we can do, but did you know He is talking about walking into your office, into dinner with friends, and even into your son's bedroom and live and talk in a way that points them to Him. It is going to take growing our faith, fixing our focus, and stepping into the freedom that Jesus came to offer. This is how we become intentional to walk in Confident Christian Influence. If you are forgetting to be intentional about making a difference or if you are believing the lie that God can't use you, this episode will give you clarity about your next steps and confidence to move forward in obedience. If you will work on building your faith muscle (check out episode 185), fix your eyes on Jesus, and then walk in freedom and start doing what God is calling you to do – not for your glory, for the glory of the Lord! 178: Navigating AI with Wisdom and Faith"If you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally andwithout reproach, and it will be given to him." — James 1:5 (NKJV)Artificial Intelligence may seem like a futuristic tool, but it's here andnow—scheduling our lives, answering questions, even writing ourpapers! But here's the truth: Jesus isn't outdated in a tech-drivenworld. He's not intimidated by innovation—He is the Creator of allwisdom. The question isn't “Should we use AI?” but “How do weengage AI with a heart that still seeks Jesus first?” Faith andtechnology can co-exist—but only when we invite the Holy Spirit toguide our soul and spirit.Three Key Points1. Wisdom is the Filter- Just because it's fast doesn't mean it's right. AI delivers info, butJesus offers truth.- Discernment is your secret weapon—ask the Holy Spirit to help youknow what to keep and cancel.- Proverbs 3:6 — “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He willdirect your path.”2. God Can Use Anything—Even AI- AI can help spread the Gospel, organize your life, or even write asermon—but it's still a tool, not the Source.- Think of it like a hammer: It builds, but only in the hands of theBuilder.- Romans 8:28 reminds us that “All things work together for good...”—yes, even ChatGPT!

177. Influencing OthersYou are already influencing others — be intentional about it.You ARE the Light (Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.):Influence is not optional for believers — it's inherentYour presence matters in every environment.Influence isn't about title or platform, but purpose and impact.Influence Requires Intentional Living (Ephesians 5:15-16 - So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise.16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.):Busyness can distract us from divine opportunities.Ask: “Who has God placed in front of me today?”Influence is a calling, not a coincidence.God uses everyday moments to make eternal impact.Every Role Holds Influence:Whether you're a business leader, peer, parent, or grandparent — your example speaks louder than your words.Faithfulness in the small things creates lasting impact.Leadership begins with how you treat those in front of you. (James 4:17) Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.Legacy is built through faithfulness, not fame.Influence Often Grows in the Quiet (Galatians 6:9 - So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.):Legacy isn't always seen in the moment — it's reaped in the future.Like Lois and Eunice, your faith can ripple for generations.God uses ordinary moments to grow extraordinary legacies.Influence should point others to Jesus, not ourselves.Reflect Christ in All You Do (Matthew 5:16 - In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.):Influence isn't self-promotion; it's God-glorifying.Shine through service, love, and presence.Don't underestimate your role – even hidden seeds produce lasting fruit.Your circle is your calling — pay attention to who's around you.Be Present in Your Circle:Who's watching you? Who needs encouragement, prayer, or wisdom?Small moments can be sacred assignments.Stay faithful, stay present, and trust God to multiply your influence. In order for you to have a good influence, be careful about who you allow to influence you. Be careful about who you allow to speak into your life. Your influence will grow as you allow others to pour into you. We are praying for you as you intentionally influence others and leave a lasting impact in the lives of others. 176: Endurance: How am I Going to Make It? Reference: Hebrews 12Let's walk the road of faithful endurance. We are not the first to be here. We have many examples to follow.Takeaways from Hebrews 12: * Keep your eyes On Jesus* See Jesus' example of endurance- the cross, shame, persecution* Don't feel sorry for yourself- keep going* Use this time as a learning time- what is God trying to teach you?* Move forward! Don't become stuck- look to Jesus as your guide.* Find someone to walk this path with you- don't go alone. Four keys to success: 1. Gratitude - To “endure” means to just hold on, to keep things steady until you reach the other side. But endurance for the Christian is not without gratitude; indeed, it must not be so, for a life without gratitude is a life lived in disobedience. The command here is not to give thanks FOR everything, but to give thanks IN everything.2. Contentment - The temptation during a season of endurance is to spend your days wishing for things to be different, or remembering the days when things were. So we drift into self-pity, pining away for what might be and continually trying to escape what actually is. For the Christian, though, a season of endurance is an opportunity to grow in the virtue of contentment.3. Faith - A season of endurance doesn't feel good. In fact, it feels very bad. It's painful because we live with a daily sense of loss and longing and the temptation is to lapse into self-pity. But the Christian isn't ruled by feelings; we are ruled by Jesus. So we must, during a season of endurance, let faith – not feelings – take the lead.4. Focus - In a season like this, we are all tempted to turn inward - to take care of ourselves, to be all by ourselves, and to focus on our own opinions. But for the Christian, our focus should be different. Our eyes should be fixed on a different place. And ironically, our focus is really the most practical way we can continue to endure. How do you endure? Fix your eyes on Jesus. Focus on Him, and you'll keep going. Episode 172: Ways to Engage Jesus in Everyday LifeHow do we engage Jesus in the process of everyday life? 1. To engage Him in our day to day activities, we must invite Him in and ask for His help.2. We should engage Jesus in our daily decisions. Invite Jesus in and ask for His wisdom and His help as you make simple decisions and difficult decisions.3. We are to engage Him in all areas - including our finances, filing our taxes, etc. - and let Him guide us.4.. As you set goals, make plans, or take your next steps - engage Jesus into the process of setting these goals, making these plans, and taking these steps. Allow time to pray - maybe even 30 days - praying and listening.5. Engaging is talking, listening, and reading God's word. Allow some quiet time and wait to hear from Him. Practice engaging the presence of Jesus.6. Engage Jesus in the hard season. Seek Him - not for the answer - but because He IS The Answer. 171: Exchange your Destructive Criticism for Constructive Criticism Starting NowThe Saboteur of Success is Destructive Criticism. How can we exchange destructive criticism for constructive criticism? Here are 7 tips to start implementing today. 1. Protect the Individual's Self Esteem. Be gentle with your words and careful to not deflate the person you are speaking to. 2. Focus on the Future and Not the Past. Use words like "next time", "in the future", "today is a new day", etc.3. Focus on the Behavior or the Performance and not the Person. Replace the word "you" with a description of the problem. 4. Use "I" Messages to Retain Ownership of Your Feelings. I feel (insert a word like angry, hurt, frustrated) when you do (insert problematic behavior).5. Be Clear About What Needs to Change. Be specific, solution oriented, and decision based. 6. Offer to Help. Model the best behavior you expect from others. Serve others, care about others, and give help. Let them know they are not alone by saying "we" - here is what we are going to do.7. Assume the Best about the Other Person. We hope you enjoy these tips. Share them with your friends. We can all choose to be gentle with our words and be an encouragement to others. 170: How Can We Balance Our Faith with Our Challenges? We encounter all types of challenges. As believers, as we encounter challenges, we should react differently than the world. We are commanded to cast all of our cares on Jesus, for He cares for us. We are not to wear worry and overwhelm like a blanket. 7 Steps to Shift our Focus from our Challenge to a Solution.1. Shift your focus from worry to wisdom. Seek Jesus first. Place your trust in Him and heed His advice. His way is wise. Be obedient to His word. 2. Shift from complaining to Christ-centered problem solving. God is moving in our life. We forget too quickly and go back to complaining. Instead, ask God to use you in the midst of your challenge, seek to learn what He is teaching you, and experience growth. Be honest with yourself about where you are and learn to live victoriously. We cannot be looking down, having a pity party, and leading people up the mountain to Jesus at the same time.3. Shift your focus off of what you can control and focus on surrendering. We are not in control of anything; He is in control of everything. Invite God into every area of your life and surrender it all to Him. The only thing we can control is our attitudes, our actions, and our prayers. 4. Replace fear with faith-filled action. Instead of sitting paralyzed in fear, ask "what step of faith are you asking me to take today, God?" Take the next right step in His strength.5. Speak life over the problem. We say a lot of negative things about ourselves, our situations, and our plans. Look forward and step into your purpose. Speak life over your situation and let God walk forward with you. 6. Use trials as training grounds for leadership. (James 1:2-4) Trials grow us and strengthen us. Here is where we learn who God is and that He is faithful to be with us.7. Seek wise counsel and community. Do not isolate. What can you do to move forward?1. Find yourself a Christian Coach. They will help you identify your blind spots.2. Get in Bible Study with a leader who will encourage you, challenge you and inspire you.3. Find friends who love Jesus and speak truth into your life. You were created for such a time as this. It's your time to look up and start leading others to Jesus!Connect with Pam at pampegram.comCONNECT WITH US AT:▶︎Website: https://www.engageformore.com▶︎Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/EngageforMore▶︎Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/163312072559573▶︎Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/engageformore/We exist to encourage you to engage and experience the more Jesus came to offer.Learn more about our Coaching Programs: https://www.engageformore.com/coachingHere's Pam's book - https://a.co/d/er42DKWHere's Pam's Blog - https://www.pampegram.com/master-what-mattersHere's Pam's Website - https://www.pampegram.com#engageformore #faithfilledlife #dailydevotional
