Dove per un cattolico la confessione è segreta e personale, qui è pubblica e trasmessa in mondovisione. Non c'è perdono: la macchia del passato resta per sempre e provoca la perdita del proprio status sociale. E cambiano i peccati che non c'entrano più nulla con i Dieci Comandamenti. Una battuta, per quanto sia di cattivo gusto, non è un peccato mortale. Ma lo diventa per il nuovo culto, soprattutto se riguarda donne e minoranze. Seiko Hashimoto was appointed the new president of the Tokyo Organising Committee after stepping down as Olympic minister Feb. 18, replacing Yoshiro Mori after his sexist remarks led to his resignation just five months before the games are set to begin. Tamayo Marukawa, a ruling Liberal Democratic Party lawmaker in the Upper House took the role just vacated by Hashimoto, becoming Olympic minister for her second time.
