Come si può gestire lo stress? Cosa possiamo fare concretamente per gestire lo stress?Quando ci troviamo difronte ad un evento stressante la prima cosa da fare è distinguere i fatti (ciò che accade) da pensieri ed emozioni che scaturiscono dall'evento. Un evento è definito stressante sulla base della percezione delle proprie risorse cognitive ed emotive adatte ad affrontarlo. Lo stress dipende dunque dalla percezione che noi abbiamo dell'evento e delle risorse necessarie per poterlo gestire. Il modo in cui viviamo l'evento è legato a delle valutazioni soggettive: chi valuta l'evento? La parte bambina? Allora utilizzeremo degli atteggiamenti come lamentela, pretesa e accusa. La parte adulta? Allora saremo in grado di guardare ciò che accade, valutare e mettere in atto delle strategie per fronteggiare lo stress al meglio.Come possiamo fronteggiare lo stress? Per prima cosa è necessario prevenire lo stress. Come?1) dedicarsi del tempo piacevole: se non coltiviamo il piacere saremo più esposti allo stress2) coltivare relazione significative: le relazioni che sostengono, con cui puoi condividere, scaricare la tensione, potersi aprire ad un altro essere umano sentendosi ascoltati, visti, riconosciuti, in una dimensione di ascolto3) alternare attività/passività: se non sappiamo alternare attività e passività siamo più soggetti allo stress; saper creare equilibrio tra il fare e fermarsi ci consente di gestire al meglio lo stress.4) Dedicarsi al silenzio, alla meditazione e alla preghiera: vuol dire fermarsi e fare silenzio dentro e fuori, accumulare l' energia necessaria per fronteggiare l'eventuale evento stressante.Il secondo passaggio consiste nel monitorare lo stress. Come? Facendosi alcune domande chiave. 1) Ricavandosi del tempo per se stessi: quanto tempo dedichiamo a noi stessi? Tempo in cui non dobbiamo produrre nulla. Tempo non strumentale.2) Qual è il nostro umore di base? La quota costante che abbiamo di umore….quanto tempo passo nella serenità? quanto nella gioia? Nella rabbia?3) Qual è il livello di reattività emotiva: quanto siamo reattivi?4) Quanta energia e vitalità abbiamo? Qual è il livello dell'energia? Quanta energia e vitalità ho in questo momento?Quindi possiamo finalmente fronteggiare lo stress, in questo modo:1) pensare ai successi passati: di solito tendiamo a tornare su eventi negativi, ma dobbiamo riportare la mente al ricordo di tutte le volte che abbiamo affrontato cose simili e siamo riusciti.2) Sviluppare pensiero critico: tornare ai fatti, a ciò che è e rimanere sul fatto.3) Saper chiedere aiuto, che non è lamentarsi, ma chiedere cose concrete.4) Spostare il focus sulle soluzioni: razionalizzare, valutare i fatti, tornare adulti.5) Occuparci della gestione dell'emotività: saper gestire le emozioni è una delle risorse principali per fronteggiare lo stress. Lucia Valcepina"Un biglietto per Texel"Ronzani Editorewww.ronzanieditore.itLisa, chitarrista jazz che si muove in un universo magmatico di narcisisti e prime donne, scompare improvvisamente da Milano lasciando solo un biglietto, spingendo così il fratello Nicola e l'amica Giulia a seguirne le tracce in un viaggio che ripete, tappa dopo tappa, l'itinerario percorso dai tre protagonisti quando erano ragazzi, nell'estate del 1999. Un'esperienza che comportò una cesura nel loro rapporto a causa di un incidente avvenuto nell'isola olandese di Texel, e che lasciò dolorosi strascichi nelle loro vite. Oggi, a distanza di ventitré anni, Giulia e Nicola tornano sulle medesime strade, seguendo le indicazioni che Lisa ha disseminato lungo il percorso e, grazie a una serie di incontri con personaggi abili nell'arte del non-dire, rileggono con disincanto il proprio passato e le proprie ambiguità. Lo scenario è quello di un'Europa post pandemica sulla quale i due amici si interrogano, paragonandola all'idea utopistica che li ispirava a vent'anni, sulla soglia del nuovo millennio, quando i muri sembravano caduti e il futuro era il luogo del possibile. Ora, con la guerra alle porte, pare che quell'Europa abbia tradito le sue promesse e violato i sogni dei ragazzi di allora, mentre il senso di precarietà storica si unisce all'inquietudine  per le scelte di Lisa.A guidarli è il percorso artistico della musicista, in un contesto dominato dal virtuosismo e dall'entropia. Giulia e Nicola hanno la sensazione di muoversi sul filo di un'imprecisione temporale, in una costante asincronia rispetto agli eventi. Eppure, “l'isola dei volatili” li attrae verso il mare del Nord, esattamente come il jazz, un'arte ibrida, meticcia, in grado di conciliare gli opposti e di ricomporre l'unità a partire dalla frammentazione. E questa forma devozionale, ci fa scoprire d'Ors, è sorella della meditazione, con cui dà vita a un intreccio fecondo al quale è dedicato il breve saggio nella seconda parte del libro, con l'autore che ci guida alla pratica dell'esicasmo partendo dalla sua esperienza personale: le letture che lo hanno formato, gli ostacoli che ha trovato sul cammino, gli incontri con i maestri di diverse tradizioni spirituali che gli hanno cambiato la vita. Un libro personale e intenso, che dalla parola conduce al cammino interiore, dalla «poetica» della scrittura alla «mistica» dell'esperienza spirituale, per capire che il pellegrino russo siamo noi, con la nostra sete di risposte e soprattutto di gioia vera.
