Pur attraversando stagioni contrassegnate da ben diverse concezioni della politica, questa tradizione sembra conservare una serie di elementi costanti, tali da autorizzare l'inserimento, all'interno della medesima categoria, di una galleria di pensatori davvero eterogenea. Il realismo politico è però tutt'altro che omogeneo al proprio interno. Considerando più attentamente le teorie dei diversi esponenti, emergono infatti molte linee di tensione, e talvolta persino delle autentiche aporie. L'obiettivo del volume consiste nel costruire una mappa che, pur riconoscendo paradigmi comuni, evidenzi anche le linee di divergenza e le tensioni aporetiche presenti all'interno di questa tradizione teorica (e talvolta nella riflessione dei singoli pensatori).Con i contributi di Pier Paolo Portinaro, Luis René Oro Tapia, Jeronimo Molina Cano, Alison Mcqueen, Carlo Burelli, Luca G. Chi si fida oggi della fiducia? La società iperconsumista e individualista in cui viviamo – e che soddisfa i nostri desideri – ci porta a non tenere conto dei quotidiani atti di fiducia che attraversano la nostra giornata. Siamo convinti che “non fidarsi è meglio” ma ogni singolo gesto che facciamo ha bisogno di un atto di fiducia: nei confronti della sedia su cui ci sediamo (ci fidiamo del fatto che reggerà il nostro peso), al traffico cittadino e autostradale (ci fidiamo del comportamento degli altri automobilisti), fino all'utilizzo del denaro (ci fidiamo delle azioni delle banche centrali e degli organi di vigilanza economica).Eppure oggi la relazione con la tecnologia tende a sostituirsi sempre più alla relazione con il mondo che ci circonda. La “società digitale” controlla quasi ogni nostro passo ed ogni nostra azione, definisce una “comfort zone” tutta nostra che non prevede il ricorso ad altre forme di fiducia, se non quella nei confronti della macchina. Come allora ripristinare le relazioni di fiducia senza cadere nell'ipnosi della tecnologia? Come resistere alla tentazione dell'individualismo? Le libertà individuali stanno creando crisi sistemiche (riscaldamento climatico, diseguaglianze sociali, ecc) impossibili da gestire, le attività delle grandi aziende tecnologiche dominano la nostra vita, è difficile comprendere cosa stia accadendo perché tutti sono convinti di trarre beneficio dalla tecnologia. «C'è qualcosa di fatale in questo movimento. Ma allo stesso tempo, in questo movimento, noi stessi stiamo diventando parti della macchina o macchine obbedienti». Ce lo ricorda il filosofo svizzero Mark Hunyadi. Il suo Credere nella fiducia (edizioni Vita e Pensiero) è disponibile anche in lingua italiana. Una diagnosi sulla nostra civiltà e la consapevolezza che ci sono metodi per uscire dalla crisi sistemica in cui ci troviamo, forse in modo inconsapevole.Sabato 22 marzo, in occasione del festival Soul, al Museo Diocesano di Milano il filosofo Mark Hunyadi e lo psicoanalista e filosofo Miguel Benasayag dialogheranno sul tema e su quali siano le alternative da cercare, in un incontro intitolato: La bolla diabolica dell'algoritmo.
