This week me, Charles, Bryan, and Cliff (yes Cliff!) are joined by special guests Dianna and Suvesh to talk about From's latest game, Sekiro. We also talk about things tangential to video games like the impossible ask of owning board games and the likelihood Kassandra and Kwe will split a PSVR. Folks we almost skip news completely and we talk about a lot of Pokemon and Mass Effect. Special Guest: Kwesi.

An episode over a month in the making, prepare yourselves for a sensual, intimate evening with your favorite hosts, Bryan and Charles.
It turns out podcasting from outer space is an easy way to curse audio but Kassandra and Vader are back at it again this week after a brief summer hiatus. Our guest is Sean, @theLoreHunter on Twitter, who talks about being a new dad (for the second time!) and raising his children in video games. We also discuss Gloomhaven becoming a video game, free DLC for Ni No Kuni II, some games we've been playing, some shows we've been watching, and myriad other things meant to keep Kassandra from shouting about No Man's Sky. But then No Man's Sky talk does happen and Kassandra is blissful. We close out with the Question of the Week which you can find along with everything else @darkinsightpod on Twitter. Our hosts can be found @vadervanodin and @weaponthane. Thanks for tuning in! Special Guest: The Lore Hunter.
we talk video games with the Great Kat the Wolf Special Guest: Kat the Wolf.
As we always have the finger on that gaming pulse, we decided to talk about E3! To aid us with this massive task, Richard from We're Not Wizards joins us and we let him loose with the host controls :) Warning - be prepared for temperature telling eggs, soapbox rants and plenty of gawping! Oh and video games too.... Special Guest: Revatar.
Who's that on the podcast? Why it's our old pal Trent Reznor, the lead singer of Korn? Tool? No, I think it's Nine Inch Nails. Anyway, actually it's Jeremy Greer! Former host, current guest, forever friend. We spend most of this podcast talking about Dark Souls y'all.
The most erotic episode of Dark Insight yet.
Bryan and Kassandra are joined by the final legendary Pokemon of The Salt Report, K! We talk about everything from Monster Hunter to God of War to Final Fantasy XIV(and drag Niki. Again.) This podcast is in the top 10% of all podcasts. Editor's note: K's apartment complex decided our podcast recording was the best time to run a jackhammer so there's some construction sounds during parts of the episode. I did my best to clean the audio up and it's listenable, but don't freak out if you hear some hammering in the background. Special Guest: K.
Get ready for an episode that is hundo off the chain as the cool kids would say! Rach tells us about her Twitch streaming & video editing career that makes us green as Yoshi with envy. We learn that we are too old to handle the lingo of 2018 then proceed to give lootboxes another beating! The Dark Souls train comes back in as we chat about the Switch delay and PC version paid "upgrade". We even learn the Switch has been hacked! Look out for games such as A Way Out, God Of War, Ghost of a Tale, Superhot, Labo and Statik Institute of Retention as we discuss what we have been playing recently. We also get the impression that Rach really likes Kingdom Hearts! We finish the show as always with our fantastic listener responses to the question of which games should not have had sequels. Oh yeah...no your ears are not playing up, you do get to hear the unmistakable voice of Mr Cliff Goldsmith! Welcome back sir! Special Guest: Rach.
We have a new host! The inimitable Kassandra joins the cast and immediately throws down the gauntlet to Big Poppa Greer. Also, Niki is here and we find out all about the latest Final Fantasy XIV dealings. It's still bad y'all. Also there's a lot of Baltimore chat, we check in with the Sad Dad Game, and Billy Mitchell more like Milly Bitchell. Also we recorded this episode mere HOURS before Campo Santo announced they had been acquired by Valve, spawning the much-repeated Twitter joke "In the Valvey of the Gods." Anyway, our opinion can be summed up thusly: holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii- Special Guest: Niki.
Join Bryan and Charles as they welcome Jessi, the filthiest wizard on the internet, to the podcast. This one is a barn burner, y'all. Special Guest: Jessi.
Welcome to another episode of Dark Insight. In this episode we talk about Jeff Gerstmann's status as a fashion icon, if it's the best time to be a gamer, and who witnessed the most powerful console of all time. Also, Vita means life! Sea of Thieves sucks, and everyone knows the Gamecube > Xbox One X. Special Guest: Kassandra.
We welcome John @99dexterity back and we have a good chat about Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear, Persona, Moss VR, VR The Diner Duo, What Remains of Edith Finch, South Park and the Stick of truth and Hellblade. We covered a lot in this jam-packed episode, so strap in and enjoy the ride! Special Guest: John Gamble .
Strap in for the long haul, this one is jam-packed. First off we dive into the world of Marc Straight and learn all about his music and gaming career (including the game he is developing independently). You will also hear a hearty discussion on why microtransactions are the worst before a good dose of Dark Souls chat. Too much fun was being had so we only talked about a few of the games that we have been playing, those are, Rime, Hellblade (again) and Monster Hunter. We also find out what makes Vader cry! Wrapping the episode with a great listener feedback section on the topic of favourite video game sounds tracks. Special Guest: Marc Straight.
This week our host Charles Turner is joined by the lovely Allison by proxy and the awesome Cameron aka night_twitten to talk lots of video games, these include Superhot, Bloodborne, Horizon, Metal Gear Survive, and a whole lot more. So strap in and enjoy the ride Special Guests: Allison By Proxy and Cameron Swarbrick.

Vader is joined by Jala and Kou to chat about all things Hawaii, Moana, oh and some random video games. Special Guests: Jala Prendes and Kou_Kagerou .
Cliff the worst host in the world is finally back so he and Charles get down to it and talk all things gaming. This week the boys talk about EA's buyout of Respawn Entertainment, Xbox one x response, shadow of the Colossus, God of War, switch stuff, destiny 2, Observer, mario, ashen elden and monster hunter worlds.
It's been a little while, but here we are with another episode of Dark Insight! First off, we planned to release 2 episodes this week, but technical issues resulted in one of those episodes being postponed until the near future. Unfortunately, at the time of this particular recording, everything was still full steam ahead, and thus Josh does mention the aforementioned second episode during this recording...to discover after the fact that this was not the case. Please bear with us, in this grand old age of communication we are still finding the odds stack against us occasionally. What can we say? You've gotta love it, eh? Anyway! Due to the aforementioned scheduling, it's just Josh and Vader this week. Vader was even on holiday, proving once again, beyond a shadow of doubt, that he is the most professional out of the whole team! Part of Vader's holiday included a visit to Pax, and he shares tales of games including, but not limited to Code Vein, Sinner, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dumb Ways To Die VR (yes, that's apparently a thing), and more that I cannot remember for the life of me. Trust me, it's a great chat! Josh also has plenty to say, including a TONNE of love for Blade Runner 2049 due to his obsession having reached fever pitch. There's also a quick mention of the beautiful, yet unforgiving Cuphead, an incredibly brief tip of the hat to the opening section of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, a scenic route journey around South Park: The Stick of Truth and the many controversies that come with it, and a bit of a rant about the train wreck that was The Evil Within 2. Well that's how Josh feels about it, anyway. Thanks for listening, apologies for the episode that was made out of invisible ink, and we'll be back with you in the near future! @darkinsightpod @vadervanodin @MorbidBeard Outro music: Chinese Restaurant from Timespliiters. Remember Timesplitters? Game was badass!

Tenno, your mission is to download this podcast, then sneak into your listening device of choice and connect the provided headphones to your ears. Then, using your incredible range of weaponry, you must survive through the delightful chat between Josh, Jeremy, and TWO special guests: Michael, the walking Warframe encyclopedia, and CoffeeJezus, one half of Twin Humanities and a delightful human being. First, you'll have to win against weather chat, a discussion of Assassin's Creed tourist mode, and some game chat: Dragon's Dogma, Wolfenstein, and Cuphead. Then, it's the main event. A full hour of Warframe chat, including: Michael's detailed explanations, Josh and Jeremy's first time with the game, and CJ's effervescent love for the game. Once completed, you'll be rewarded with a number of crafting materials, a new frame, and a pleasant day. Be sure to check out the links below! Special Guests: Coffee Jezus and Michael Prehn.
This week on Dark Insight: Bryan, Jeremy, and Vader talk about the games you can never stop playing. Diablo 3, Warframe, Destiny 2...and....Octopath Traveler? That's what the notes are telling me, anyway, it's been a good 48 hours since we I recorded and I've completely forgotten anything we talked about. We also talk about TGS, the weather, and the Vader's deep musical knowledge. GET IN FOLKS.
Welcome to another episode of Dark Insight! This week Jeremy and Vader are joined by Dylan, who you might know by his electronic musician project: bansheebeat. They talk about gross movies, weird fetishes caused by Pixar movies, sexy golf games, and of course, the weather. Thanks to Dylan for guesting, and if you like the song at the end of the show, go check out the rest of Dylan's music. Special Guest: bansheebeat.
Welcome back to another episode of Dark Insight! This week, join a solo hosting Vader and special guest Dave from the Monster Dear Monster and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Podcast shows! I didn't listen to this episode but based on the cover art and show notes it looks like they talked about Destiny 2, Knack 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Whatever, Warframe, and Jeremy as Gambit. I hope to enjoy this episode along with all of you! As always, you can find the show at https://darkinsight.net, and we're on Twitter at https://twitter.com/darkinsightpod. Dave can be found at https://twitter.com/SentionautPlus, and his shows at https://twitter.com/mondmonster and https://twitter.com/CTHPod. Give him a follow and give the shows a listen, they're outstanding. Special Guest: Dave Cox.
Hello and welcome to the biggest Dark Insight ever. Not in terms of length, but in terms of girth. We have FIVE people on this week's podcast. Jeremy hosts this week along with podcast regulars Josh and Bryan, along with two special guests: Rachel and Alex from the Rachel and Alex vs the Whoniverse podcast! We all sit down for a long chat about video games and movies. Just a taste: Overwatch, Observer, Persona 5, Cultist Simulator, Hellblade, Get Even, Rainbow Six Siege, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Absolver, the Dark Souls Board Game, McPixel, and Pyre. On top of all those games, we also talk about It Follows, Death Note (the new one), and Baby Driver! Thanks for listening everyone! Be sure to check out Rachel and Alex vs the Whoniverse: https://vsthewhoniverse.fireside.fm/ Special Guests: Alex and Rachel.
Hurricanes, road trips, new jobs, old jobs...lots of things conspired to keeping most of the Dark Insight hosts off the podcast this week. Luckily, Vader stepped up with a great idea: he would record himself interviewing his son, Odin! The result is an absolute delight of an episode. Vader and Odin talks about the weather, the news, and the games they've been playing before sli-sli-sli-slipping into the DMs to answer some listener questions. Thanks for listening everyone!
We're back with another action packed episode! This week, Josh and Vader are joined by debut guest, and podcast enthusiast, John Gamble. John is an absolute delight to talk to, and if you take away just one thing from this episode, it'll most certainly be that John LOVES fighting games, which is cool! After making sure to keep the weather gods happy, and mention how Jeremy and Bryan had sabotaged the show notes as part of their drunken shenanigans, they discuss the news that Crackdown 3 has been delayed until 2018, which leads to a brief chat about game delays in general, followed by a nod to the apparent beta testing of the upcoming PS4 firmware, where Josh has a rather peculiar and seemingly very nitpicking issue he's hoping will be resolved..that, let's be honest, probably won't because it's an issue that just doesn't matter. Then, game chat! Vader talks about a load of arcade games from yesteryear, Josh absolutely gushes over Nier Automata, John shares his love and experiences with Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Tekken 7, then Vader rounds off with a little bit of Sonic chat. We did want to talk about Hellblade, but time was against us, apologies, but it will definitely get a mention in the near future! That's it! Many thanks to John for guesting this week, we knew he was very keen to come on and we're very happy to give him the opportunity to do so. If you'd like to guest in the future, hit us up on Twitter @darkinsightpod and we'll see what we can do to make it happen! Please subscribe and leave a rating on iTunes, it really helps us get the word out there about us and what we do, we'd be eternally grateful for anything like that! Thanks again and we'll see you next week! Jeremy and Bryan's show notes sabotage, just for a laugh: SCREW YOU NERDS BRYAN AND I ARE GONNA DRINK MUHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GUESS WHO’S DRUNK NOT ME YET BUT SOON HI VADER HOW’S THE PODCAST GOING ANSWER ME GODDAMMIT I SEE YOU HIGHLIGHTING MY TEXT BUTTS LOOK I CAN’T DO THE EMOJI THING HERE BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN Links of note: Crackdown 3 delayed until 2018, and that's absolutely fine: https://www.polygon.com/2017/8/16/16158068/crackdown-3-delayed-xbox-one-windows-pc-microsoft PS4 firmware beta test: https://www.polygon.com/2017/8/17/16164828/ps4-firmware-5-0-features-beta-release-date Dark Insight on the web: darkinsight.net Dark Insight on Twitter: @darkinsightpod Josh on Twitter: @MorbidBeard Vader on Twitter: @vadervanodin John on Twitter: @99dexterity Guilty Gear website John mentioned: https://keeponrock.in/#/ Special Guest: John Gamble .

The podcast slingshot is primed and ready to fire another episode of Dark Insight at ya! After the break last week we return for another show, where an exhausted Cliff returns and is joined by a knackered Josh and a groggy Vader (who'd only just got out of bed, like a champ) to discuss some vidya gaems. There's a brief discussion regarding the travesty that was the Mighty No. 9 physical Kickstarter mix up, how the Switch appears to be out-doing everybody's expectations by selling a ridiculous amount of units, Josh details his trip to London Comic Con and Cliff was lucky enough to be given the first 2 episodes of the new Little Nightmares comic. There's also a quick bit of follow up regarding Jalaid and the, frankly, heart warming response to that. Thank you to each and every person who was involved, even to the most minute degree. Just a tiny amount of effort and make the world of difference. We then get into the game chat, where we talk about Destiny 2, The Sexy Brutale, Late Shift, Splatoon 2, Thumper and Batman: The Telltale series. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the listener feedback so we're planning on bundling what we already have with what we get next week, don't you worry! Thank you for listening, be sure to check out darkinsight.net for all of our episodes; as well as links to all hosts and every guest thus far. If you like what you hear and you have time, why not leave us an iTunes review? Every single review helps us get just a little bit closer to being noticed by more people and we appreciate every one we get! See you next week for another episode! This week your American hosts Jeremy and Bryan are joined by a special guest: Jessy Hughes! Jessy is a delightful southern lady with infinite patience. She suffers through all of Bryan and Jeremy's dumb questions about anime boy dating games, and introduces them into the extremely funny world of man faced horse dating. Check the show notes for links to all of the pics they talk about on the show. Also in this episode: weather chat, PLUNKBAT, Behold the Kickmen, The Sims, Destiny 2, and of course, more Overwatch chat. PLUS PLUS PLUS: listener responses to our question of the week. Enjoy! Special Guest: Jessy Hughes.
The boss is back! Our man Cliff is here to host this episode, and is joined by Jeremy and Bryan. They sit down to talk about basically everything. We start off with some good ol' Kenny Chesney, then get into a lengthy conversation about our favorite beverages. Following that, we talk about some stuff we've been watching like that new Wonder Woman and that new Castlevania animated series. Cliff also spends some talking about his crazy journey to own a Switch! Eventually, we even talk about a game or two.
