Atlus games has continued to surprise us. We have been on an Atlus kick lately and each one of their games is so different from the last but there are a couple things that persist through out all of them. And that is that they are innovative with captivating stories that have memorable characters with true life issues that are very relatable for the player. And we really dive into the time traveling, Game Of Thrones styled world of Radiant Historia. We both agree that this is the best version of time travel in anny game we have played. And oh man that combat system is so unique mixing turn based, grid based tactics and strategic turn order to make a very interesting experience. ------------------ Hosts: Christian & Chris Don't forget to leave us a cheeky review and we will read them on the show. Tell your friends that they need some GlitchCube in their life.
There is a lot to talk about this week. And it has been a great time to really hit that back log. So, many titles that we missed out on over the years and finally are getting to. Like Radiant Historia, Tomb Raider and Evergrace. And one game that Christian said he probably would not play and is completely shocked by, Persona 3 Reload! Also, there is a little teaser at the end of what is to come in the near future so be sure to stick around till the end to hear about that. -------- Follow the link bellow to go to our various socials and be sure to join the Discord to talk with us and the community directly. Thank you all for the love and support! https://linktr.ee/glitchcube Also we have a website now! Where you can find our show, more about us and even blog posts that we have written! glitchcubepod.com
This week on Axe of the Blood God, Nadia, Kat, and Eric bid sayonara to the best RPGs on the Nintendo 3DS and the [snide snicker] Wii U. Nintendo is yanking the plug on the 3DS and Wii U digital storefronts very soon, but there's still time to thumb through some must-buy recommendations. Radiant Historia! Persona Q! SMT IV and Strange Journey Redux! Maybe they'll end up on the Switch somewhere down the road, but there's no way of knowing. Best to gorge yourself now while the kitchen door's still open. Also in this episode: Paranormasight is another amazing Square Enix game that will probably slide into obscurity because there's no way it's going to sell the seventy bojillion copies Square Enix probably expects it to sell Want to know why Tears of the Kingdom is $70? Doug Bowser has an answer Bloodborne is up for a Pantheon revisit. Does it deserve to—yeah. Yeah, of course it does. What a question. RIP Lance Reddick. :( Music used in this episode: Do Your Best! [Breath of Fire III] Silence of the Forest [Bravely Default/End Layer] Torn from the Heavens [Final Fantasy XIV] A Curious Tale [Secret of Mana] Schwarzweiss [Atelier Iris 3] Learn more about your ad choices. Barry Carenza from Premium Edition Games joins me to chat about the best 3DS JRPG you may not have played: the wonderful RADIANT HISTORIA! What makes this game so endlessly unique? What are the realities of game preservation and physical media production? Let's open up our Chronicles and find out!
We bust out our flowcharts and get unstuck in time as we cover the time-traveling cult classic Radiant Historia. As a dying world contends with endless war and desertification, three heroes jump between multiple timelines to try and find a way forward. Both a throwback to classic JRPGs and an ambitious reformulation of them, Radiant Historia is a fascinating relic of the Nintendo DS era. In this episode, Madelyn and Emma discuss Radiant Historia and Back 4 Blood and bemoan the lack of combo co-op. Also featuring middle-aged men, irrelevant cards, and zombie sounds behind you.

Rumination Analysis on Radiant Historia
In this episode the boys are just about on the edge of control as they take a in depth look at Remedy's newest title Control as well as wonder just how erotic a floor plan can truly be? They also catch up on the hottest news from this year's Gamescom event in Germany plus take a look at some good old analogue gameing fun with Tiny Epic Zombies. There's also tonnes of chat about Radiant Historia, Destiny, Gears POP, Bloodstain, Man of Medan as well as maybe the fastest review of Vigor ever! And if that's not enough fun our old friend OG Pikachu drops by to say hello too all of this and much much more in this bumper episode of the Dark Insight podcast
