After 3 long months we have returned! That's Right Dorkside Nexus is back and man do we have a lot to catchup on! In the time that we have been away we had to part ways with Corey and we spend the first part of this episode  reminiscing about our favorite Favorite moments with Corey over the last couple of years. After that , we put on our speculative hats as we discuss the possibilities for the Ahsoka show and what the future might hold for the Star Wars timeline. Super Mario Bros came smashing into theatres this spring  and with the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie and the potential for future Nintendo blockbusters, there's plenty for our fellow video game and movie enthusiasts to get excited about. As we embark on this new, more organized format, we're eager to bring you consistent, engaging content that's both fun and informative. A few episodes ago we asked whether DC Studios was on fire... Well, Warner Bros Discovery has clapped back at us it seems.Not only did we get a ton of more information on the upcoming DC projects, but we also had massive news with more Lord of the Rings content in the works and, the possibility of a certain Peter Jackson returning to the Directors chair.What may be even bigger than both those things was the release of Hogwarts Legacy. The sales numbers were staggering causing Warner Bros to say there will be more Wizarding World content in the future as well.Sorry We're still reeling from how hard Warner bros smacked us with all of this new content. All that and more in this weeks episode.

2023 is already in full swing, but a few weeks ago Brooksy, Corey and tanner sat down to discuss what things we were most excited to see this year. New releases may have been announced and some of these projects have already dropped but find out what our most anticipated Projects of the year when 2023 Started. 

James Gunn was announced as Co-CEO of DC a few months ago to try and right the ship so to speak with the DC movies. Nerds everywhere rejoiced, feeling as though we were finally going to get the DC universe we deserved on the big screen.Fast Forward a few months,3 and it feels like the house of DC is on fire. The biggest blow came with Henry Cavill being let go as Superman. To top that off Eza Miller's Flash movie is still set to release later this year. All of these things have left fans with more questions than answers and  a feeling like James Gunn just might be crazy.This week we weigh in on the state of DC moving forward and why we are not concerned in the slightest.

This week we have our friend Chris  join us as we revisit a topic that we talked about way back when we first started this podcast: Our favorite Star Wars.  We breakdown our top 5 movies, moment and characters 

Disney and Lucasfilm wrapped up their latest Star Wars TV series: Andor,  and we didn't get to talk about it because of Thanksgiving.  Yes, we do have lives outside of Star Wars and this podcast.This week we sat down and finally got to discuss everything about the series and what our thoughts were in the end. Including that strange plotline that involves both Syril and Dedra.

We have 3 Episodes of Star Wars: Andor to talk about this week, and OMG  there iso much to go over.  Diego Luna,  Stellan Skarsgård, and Andy Serkis gave such amazing performances over the last 3 pulse pounding episodes and we don't even know where to start.Before we can get into the greatness that is Andor we have to discuss the news of Peacemaker Season 2, and The sadness that we were all greeted with in Henry Cavil's departure from The Witcher.

What a week it has been to be a nerd!!!This week we were spoiled rotten with News like James Gunn being hired as Co-CEO of DC films, and  Disney telling Lucasfilm exec Kathleen Kennedy to stop announcing new projects.  We also got a trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantaummania and...Well... We still aren't sure how we feel about Marvel Trailers..And finally, Tales of The Jedi Dropped and hot damn this is our jam!! 6 episodes of Andor have released now, holy cow has this show been amazing.  Brooksy, Corey and Tanner are madly in love with this show. This week they sit down to breakdown the series so far and what they felt about that last episode that paid off so much on the things that have been built up so far in this season. Is this the best Star Wars that Lucasfilm has put out since Disney purchased them?  Possibly.

Wow Brooksy, Corey and Tanner are back together again! That's right guys, the stars  and schedules have aligned and the whole gang is here.We had planned to to just talk about Andor but Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman had to throw a monkey wrench in that. So wee spent quite a bit of time this week talking about Deadpool 3 and what that means for other characters that could be coming into the MCU like Magneto.After that we journey back to a galaxy far far away for the latest instalment of Star Wars: Andor

Yes, yes. We know we haven't covered D23 yet... We're sorry we were away doing something else that weekend and didn't have time...That's right though we actually break down our thoughts on what we felt to be a lack luster D23. There were some cool things announced and teased, and this week we will go over what excites us the most.Before all of that Tanner and Corey have to catch up because it's been a minute since they could chat. With Corey being in love and everything he doesn't have time for his friends anymore.  Of course they talk about the games they have been playing, and shows like Rings of Power during their catch up. Recently we were lucky enough to have a magical experience down in Stafford Springs, CT at the one and only Orchard Works, a place where they hand craft  wands inspired by the Wizarding World of  Harry Potter! Walking in makes you feel as though you have just arrived at Ollivander's shop in Diagon Alley. This week Tanner and Papa Palpatine sit down and start a new Mini series all about video games. This week we decided to talk about one of our  all time favorite game series: Mass Effect. We talk everything from why we love to original three games, to why we think Andromeda did so poorly. Towards the end of the episode we discuss what we have heard for the upcoming sequel that we are referring to as Mass Effect 4/5.

We recently had the pleasure of attending FanExpo Boston. Man did we have a good time! This week we breakdown our pros and our cons of the con.... Did you see what we did there? From Celeb meet and greets, vendors, all the way cosplay wea have a lot to talk about so sit back relax and enjoy the sultry sounds of our voices as we recount our journey.

This week we sit down to talk about all of the upcoming projects for Phase's 5 and 6 that Marvel announced at San Diego Comic Con. Such as Black Panther; Wakanda Forever, Iron Heart, Daredevil Born Again, and the culmination of the Multiverse Saga.  As well as the implosion that is happening over at Warner Brothers Discovery with the DC Comics properties. Before Getting to all of that Tanner and Brooksy debate which peanut butter and what type of Jelly is best( its raspberry don't let Brooksy tell you otherwise).This episode contains a massive amount of profanity and sexual comments. This week all Three of the boys are back! That's Right Brooksy aka Papa Palpatine has returned to us just in time to talk about the wild ride that Taika Waititi brought us on in Thor: Love and Thunder. Needless to say they are a bit punchy from not being able to get back together until now. Along the way there are a plethora of other things discussed such as Robot Chicken and Family Guy Star Wars specials,  new things being uploaded to Disney Plus, and a whole bunch of inappropriate comments.

This week Tanner and Corey Got together to do some catch up because it's been a crazy couple of weeks for them. No Papa Paplatine this week sadly but he will be back in the next episode. 

It's finally here the moment we have all been waiting for Kenobi season finale dropped, and all we can say is damn... That was amazing! This week Brooksy dawns his new persona as he sits down with Corey and Tanner to discuss the episodes 5 and 6 of Kenobi. Holy Star Wars Batman! Lucasfilm brought the thunder this week with the release of the newest Disney+ series : Kenobi. We have two episodes to go over. and man are they jam packed with Ewan McGregor goodness.But on top of that Star Wars Celebration just wrapped as well. and Oh My Gawd did they bring the thunder with upcoming content. I mean Tanner is drooling over this knew Batmobile as we speak...Finally Corey and Tanner have a moment of nastalgia and relive a wonderful movie from their childhood... What could it be?

Remember a few months back when the Shang-Chi Trailer dropped and Tanner said he wasn't excited?  Well Corey remembers, and that's why last night he dragged Tanner to the theatre to see the movie.... And Wow, did it blow Tanner away!Before you go any further if you haven't seen the movie yet stop, turn your pretty little behind around, and run away. Spoilers are coming, so if you continue listening and get upset it's your own damn fault!

Bad Batch Season 1 has wrapped and boy did it leave us with some interesting theories as to where Star Wars is heading!T'challa as Star Lord!?!?!? Marvel What if should us what would happened if the Ravagers picked up T'challa instead of Peter Quill, and damn does it change things!
