Do you believe that there are really inherently lazy people? People are not biologically wired to do as little as possible, but yes there is a small fraction of people who are really lazy. Self-Appreciation for one self is what people need these days - to be conscious and embrace the positive within, without the need of comparing to others. But why is it that some people would shy away from praise or cringe when they are being acknowledged or praised? Perhaps it is in the way that we are brought up, especially women in a very strong patriarchal environment. They take the back seat because they think that it is their role to be “just” the support of the patriarchs in the family. Appreciating yourself, though, and exercising self-love and self-care is not being selfish. In this episode of Grace, Grit and Glow, you will gain awareness of how to be accepting of yourself and be CONFIDENT of how you are positively contributing to society. This is a must listen episode. Listen, appreciate and enrich yourself! In this episode of Grace, Grit, and Glow: The difference between being self-centered and being self-appreciative. How are we able to celebrate our admirable qualities the healthy way? The positive words that we tell ourselves are very powerful. Self-compassion is not being selfish. What can we do if no one (which is very unlikely) appreciates us? How do we show appreciation to ourselves? Most people would spend a lot of time enhancing their outward appearance, especially women. However, it's not what's on the outside that counts but rather the inside - what's your true worth! True beauty is beyond that first impression. It's a whole new way of perception especially when people get to know you more as you connect to people often. More than what you look like, your true worth lies within and that is called “Inner Beauty” In this episode of Grace, Grit & Glow, I will give you wonderful insights on what really counts in regards to beauty. We need to understand that no one is perfect. Inner beauty comes with respect for yourself and your ONE life, it comes with integrity and compassion for others. Goals are things you want to achieve in your life – they represent your life's dreams and aspirations. In pursuit of our personal goals and career, supposedly we need to take action, but these goals remain as goals without resulting in any action. There is a big difference, though, between defining ‘what' those goals are and merely stating what you ‘hope' will happen. Establishing goals is like an uphill climb when there are obstacles and the key elements are not aligned with each other. If there is no balance in four important areas of your life, an excess of one of the over the other, will ensure a disaster. Are you up to the challenge in making your goals a reality? In this episode, I will outline insights and effective strategies I have learned from actual experiences which can help set yourself to reach new levels of personal and professional success.
