I tend to discount small actions as if I only get a little done it's not enough. But, I don't need to get everything done all at once, and what I'm capable of doing and showing up for is enough. Each day will be different, and it's OK that sometimes you get lots done, and sometimes just waking up and getting through the day is all we can do. The smallest action makes a huge difference in our trajectory. And yet we seem to believe that we must always make huge leaps and strides towards our goals. The reality is that we arrive as a result of many steps and convergent circumstances. What if our purpose is not in the accomplishment but in the enjoyment of the process of becoming? In this episode, we have a captivating conversation with Jade Simmons, a transformative experience creator, keynote speaker, and author of "Purpose the Remix." Jade emphasizes that purpose goes beyond our jobs or titles and is about making the best of ourselves, embracing who we were created to be, and serving others. She believes that purpose and gratitude are deeply interconnected and that purpose is a renewable energy that brings fulfillment and prevents burnout. We discuss how self-criticism can hinder gratitude and purpose and the power of remixing our purpose, breaking free from societal labels, and embracing our uniqueness. Jade encourages listeners to uncover their own purpose and express it authentically. December is appreciation month! For the last month, I have been swept up in my own process of suffering, healing and personal evolution due to a health issue I have been dealing with. This is why I haven't really been sharing anything new for a while! This experience allowed me to drop even more into myself and into gratitude for everything that I already have. Therefore, in today's transmission, I would love to share why I have decided to devote the month of December to abundance and gratitude! As we dive into December I want to share how important it is to feel and express gratitude and feel appreciation, in particular self-appreciation. I share why having a gratitude journal saved my life when I was in a very challenging period of my life, the potency of finding appreciation for myself, how epically courageous each one of us is and the path of reconciliation with our hearts. I would love to encourage you, for this month of December, to find appreciation for even the smallest of things, at least once a day, even when the madness of our families at Christmas gets intense! The Golden Drop: https://hdly.me/cendrines Monthly collective meditation: https://cendrines.kartra.com/page/collectivemonthlymeditation This episode covers: Why I haven't made a new video in a while December is the month of abundance and gratitude How gratitude and appreciation work together The power of having a gratitude journal and how having one saved my life Finding new layers of self-appreciation and self-love We are courageous Self-love is something you already have The path of reconciliation with our own hearts in order to heal Appreciation month
The importance of a dedicated self-appreciation practice can NOT be understated. When you engage with it, you'll shift the way you see yourself, others, your work, your value, impact, and your life. It will have you thinking, feeling, behaving, speaking and showing up differently in your life. It will shift the results you see in your everyday life. If this Thanksgiving season you want to be anchored in an overflow of abundance, good cheer, and love then you will absolutely want to listen to this episode!Beyond a fun and delightful holiday season…what if you want to capture this all year through? What if you want to uplevel the amount of abundance, prosperity and joy you feel at baseline? What if you're trying to grow, evolve and usher in more goodness into your life? Then this episode is for you too! You'll soon discover why this practice alone can align you with your value and amplify it. After all, what we end up receiving in life is 100% equivalent to our own perceived value. There's no getting around this one. That perception begins with you!!! Start seeing your massive inherent value and it'll start being reflected back to you in the form of improved relationships, a healthier body, a stronger mind, more powerful actions and this can lead to a whole lot more money in your bank account. Seriously, what you want is on the other side of practicing self-appreciation.Enjoy the show!P. S. You can catch the earlier podcast of mine, Episode 28 of Dr. Tami Talks where I share why appreciation is a superior practice than mere gratitude, here's the link: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1938432/11188643
