The IC Wellness Podcast has been an absolute game-changer for me ever since I was diagnosed with IC. As an RN who is well-versed in western medicine, I was initially filled with anxiety and uncertainty about my diagnosis. However, this podcast has provided me with invaluable information and a sense of hope that I have not found elsewhere. Dr. Berman, the host of the show, is a wealth of knowledge and her interviews with various experts in the field have provided me with so much insight into my condition.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the level of support and empathy that shines through in every episode. Dr. Berman and her guests truly understand the struggles and challenges that come with living with IC, UTIs, dysmenorrhea, and other related conditions. They provide practical advice on managing symptoms and share personal stories that make you feel less alone in your journey. The episodes are informative without being overwhelming, making it easy to digest the information presented.
As for the worst aspects of this podcast, it is difficult to find any significant drawbacks. Occasionally, some episodes may delve into scientific or technical jargon that might be challenging for those without a medical background to fully understand. However, Dr. Berman does a great job of breaking down complex concepts into more accessible language whenever possible.
Overall, The IC Wellness Podcast has been a lifeline for me during my health journey. It has given me hope when I felt hopeless and empowered me to take control over my own health and wellness. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with IC for years, this podcast offers invaluable information and support that can positively impact your life.

These oxalate crystals are thought to resemble broken glass structures, which irritate the bladder lining and potentially attach to glycoproteins and form bladder calculi. Following a low oxalate diet can help to reduce exposure to certain foods that are high in oxalates which in turn will decrease irritation to the bladder, bladder pain, urgency, or frequency. https://icwellness.org/blog-post/are-oxalates-to-blame-for-your-ic-pain/
