Join Patreon to learn about how minerals impact digestion and basic supports for your gut! What if you could heal your gut without stool testing or protocols? In this episode, I map a simple path that doesn't require labs or fancy add-ons. You're going to learn four specific areas that anyone can use to heal their gut for good (and none of them are pills). The real blocker is the common state many people are in that shuts down digestion and irritates the gut lining. There are small timing tweaks that get your digestive juices to show up when they're supposed to, and things to change first so symptoms don't boomerang a few months later. This episode will make you re-think everything you knew about gut health. You'll Learn:[00:00] Introduction[04:20] What actually causes symptoms to come back after a ‘gut protocol'[08:01] The reason your gut still struggles even when you ‘eat clean'[26:21] The simple timing shift that gets your digestive juices working again[40:05] Why blood sugar swings mess with your microbiome[48:53] The overlooked body system that keeps your gut detoxing properly[54:59] The most important thing to think about when the goal is to repair your gut long termResources Mentioned:Holistic Healing for Nina-Marie Rueda | BookBon Charge | Website (use code HHRD for a 15% off discount)RA Optics | WebsiteViva Rays | Website (use code HHRD for a discount)Spectra 479 | GlassesSleep ZM | GlassesPaleo Valley Essential Electrolytes | Website (use code HORMONEHEALINGRD10)Hormone Healing podcast episode Intro to Lymph Flow with Leah | Listen Now Hormone Healing podcast episode How To Have Healthy Digestion | Listen NowLearn about helpful nutrition habits, the different phases of your cycle, how to track, signs of good metabolic health, and so much more in my Free Healthy Period Starter Guide.Find more from Amanda:Hormone Healing RD | InstagramHormone Healing RD | WebsiteHormone Healing RD | FacebookHormone Healing RD | YouTubeHormone Healing RD | TikTok

When chronic illness left Cindy bedridden in her twenties, she began questioning everything she'd been taught about health - and later, about farming. What started as a search for healing led her and her husband to rebuild their land in Burneyville, Oklahoma, where TLC Ranch now stands: a regenerative bison ranch and certified organic pecan orchard rooted in living systems rather than chemicals. Through decades of trial, floods, and faith, Cindy discovered that the same principles that restore the body also restore the soil. This episode traces how her recovery became the land's recovery - and what it really means to live and farm in alignment with nature.Key Topics- Healing through food and faith- From chemical sprays to organic farming- Bison behavior and herd management- The challenges of organic certification- Health, medicine, and trusting intuitionTimestamps 00:00:00 – Growing up outdoors and learning self-reliance 00:04:00 – Linking diet and chronic illness in the 1980s 00:08:00 – Healing through food and natural living 00:12:00 – From chemical farming to organic awareness 00:19:00 – Buying land and starting the ranch 00:27:00 – Discovering bison and learning their behavior 00:31:00 – Pecans as nutrient-dense local food 00:44:00 – Challenges of organic certification 00:53:00 – Replacing chemicals with biological inputs 00:58:00 – Managing herd health and natural balance 01:05:00 – Lessons from floods and renewal on the landWebsiteFacebookInstagram

Jan-Jul2025: 7day detox>CBO protocol>CBO finisher 2 months. Followed sensitive gut guide. Didn't do heavy metals detox, intestinal cleanse. Aug25 IgG (EquiLife (EL)): high12; moderate 38, low 42, yeast-moderate, candida alb-moderate. Working with EL coach. EL coach, your podcasts suggest this is leaky gut. EL wellness plan (Aug25): 7d detox>para protocol, clean gut prob., Healthy gut support, GSE drops>heavy metals detox. Eliminate: all in high+gluten, yeast (have not started yet). Am I on the right path and have you seen such cases in your practice? what is likely root cause? Thank you. Lisa: Can you recommend what to do or take if I experience abdominal pain or discomfort while vacationing in Europe later this fall? I'm concerned that access to the “right” foods might be tough while on the cruise and touring. Currently I'm in the last month of my CBO protocol and have also completed the 14 day detox and 7 day intestinal cleanse . All will be completed before I leave for Europe. Thank you, Lisa Susy: Hi dr Cabral, my minerals and metals test showed that my zinc is optimal and copper is very low even after supplementing with zinc and copper and the DNS for 3 months. But I've noticed that copper is usually not recommended on its own by an IHP. However I've heard some practitioners say that zinc can inhibit proper copper absorption or at least take longer to get optimal levels of copper if taken with zinc. What are your thoughts on that? Or is it possible to get to much zinc if I keep taking it together? Bettina: Hi Dr. Cabral, My husband recently purchased a testosterone supplement he came across—probably via Instagram—and I wanted to ask your opinion on the ingredients. Magnesium oxide Ginseng extract (Panax ginseng) Muira puama extract (Ptychopetalum olacoides) Fenugreek extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) Fillers (microcrystalline cellulose) Zinc citrate Anti-caking agents (cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids) Stabilizer (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) Black pepper extract (Piper nigrum) Coating agents (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol) Coloring agent (calcium carbonate) Do you think this combination is safe and potentially effective? Thanks for your help on this :-) Svetlana: Hello Dr.Cabral, after reading your book and listening to your podcasts I've made many positive changes to my lifestyle, one of them is taking the DNS for breakfast. I'm losing weight now (desired), but it takes me very long to finish the shake and I'm wondering if that's not a good thing in the long run since it keeps my insulin levels up without a break to my digestive system until lunch. It makes me feel very full, sometimes can't finish it until noon when I start it about 8:30am. At lunch time I'm still full and end up skipping lunch and eating supper at 5, no food after 7pm. I only put about 13oz of coconut water (or coconut milk mixed with water), 1 tbsp chia seeds, small handful of aronia berries and about 1/4 cup cauliflower in it. I used to eat 3 large meals and many snacks before Thank you for tuning into today's Cabral HouseCall and be sure to check back tomorrow where we answer more of our community's questions! - - - Show Notes and Resources: StephenCabral.com/3536 - - - Get a FREE Copy of Dr. Cabral's Book: The Rain Barrel Effect - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: CabralSupportGroup.com - - - Dr. Cabral's Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Complete Minerals & Metals Test (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Complete Candida, Metabolic & Vitamins Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Mood & Metabolism Test (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Complete Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Complete Omega-3 & Inflammation Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels) - - - Get Your Question Answered On An Upcoming HouseCall: StephenCabral.com/askcabral - - - Would You Take 30 Seconds To Rate & Review The Cabral Concept? Your doctor dismisses your unexplained fatigue, brain fog, and joint pain as "stress"—but the real culprit may be microscopic holes in your intestinal wall that conventional medicine refuses to acknowledge. Intestinal permeability—AKA "leaky gut"—represents one of the most overlooked diagnostic gaps in conventional healthcare. Dr. E explains the science behind compromised intestinal tight junctions, why standard GI testing misses this critical dysfunction, and how environmental toxins, medications, and dietary factors systematically damage your gut barrier. Evolution Radio Show - Alles was du über Keto, Low Carb und Paleo wissen musst
If you've been dealing with unexplained fatigue, brain fog, skin issues, bloating, food sensitivities, or joint pain, your gut might be involved — even if you don't feel like you have “digestive problems.”In this episode of the Girls Fuel Podcast, we're breaking down what leaky gut (increased intestinal permeability) really means, what causes it — from chronic stress and antibiotics to gut infections, low stomach acid, and poor digestion — and why it can show up as symptoms all over your body (not just your GI tract). We'll also walk you through the first steps to begin healing your gut lining, why powders alone won't fix the issue, and when testing (like the GI-MAP) can help you get to the root cause for good.✨ Take our Gut Health Root Cause Quiz to discover what's really driving your symptoms.
Was hilft wirklich? On this episode of Vitality Radio, Jared sits down with Dr. Jason Klop, founder of Novel Biome, to explore one of the most fascinating and misunderstood frontiers in health: fecal microbiota transplant (FMT). Often misnamed “fecal matter transplant,” FMT is a highly purified process that restores microbial diversity in the gut—far beyond what probiotics alone can achieve. Jared and Dr. Klop discuss why FMT is gaining traction in digestive health, neurological conditions, and immune balance, and how it differs from traditional probiotic supplementation. You'll learn about the rigorous donor screening process, oral vs. rectal delivery methods, and why gut microbiome diversity is critical for overall vitality. The potential applications of FMT are broad and promising. This conversation pulls back the curtain on how supporting the gut ecosystem could impact everything from digestion and inflammation to mood and longevity.Additional Information:Novel BiomeNovel Biome - InstagramPodcast – Biome Breakthroughs (Spotify): Listen hereVisit the podcast website here: VitalityRadio.comYou can follow @vitalitynutritionbountiful and @vitalityradio on Instagram, or Vitality Radio and Vitality Nutrition on Facebook. In this episode, Dr. Tony Ebel breaks down the science behind folinic acid (Leucovorin), FRAT testing, and cerebral folate deficiency. But he also explains why focusing only on medications, gut health, and inflammation often leaves families stuck. Parenting a teenager can feel like tiptoeing through a construction zone — and ADHD cranks the jackhammer. In this episode of The Soaring Child Podcast, host Dana Kay breaks down what's really happening in the teenage brain and why ADHD can intensify mood swings, impulsivity, and motivation slumps. This isn't “bad behavior” or “bad parenting” — it's a developing brain that needs different scaffolding, smarter systems, and calmer connection. Dana is joined by therapist Ashley Gobeil, who has over 15 years of experience supporting neurodiverse families. Together they unpack practical tools for emotional regulation, communication that doesn't escalate conflict, realistic academic supports, screen-time sanity, and how to get teens on board with nutrition changes by linking food to feelings and function. If you want fewer blowups and more buy-in, this conversation gives you the scripts, mindsets, and next steps. And since a persons diet and nutrition is one of the most important things that an individual needs to get right in order to heal their body or achieve any of their health and fitness goals it makes sense to customize that based on the person across from you...
