Out of Office is a travel podcast hosted by us, Ryan Davis and Kiernan Schmitt. From early childhood, we were each infected with a serious case of wanderlust (among other things.) We define travel broadly, from local day trips to high-flyin’ overseas adventures. Each week, we dig into one topic—ra…
The Out Of Office: A Travel Podcast is an incredible podcast that has quickly become my go-to for all things travel. The hosts, Ryan and Kiernan, have a fantastic dynamic and their good-natured banter keeps me entertained throughout each episode. Not only do they cover a wide range of destinations, but they also delve into various travel topics and provide valuable recommendations and advice. Their episodes are both informative and hilarious, making them the perfect companions for any traveler.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the variety of destinations they cover. From popular cities like Mexico City and Boston to more off-the-beaten-path locations like Colombia and Norway, there's something for everyone. I particularly appreciate their in-depth discussions about each location, including recommendations for places to visit, things to do, and where to eat. They also share personal anecdotes from their own travels, which adds a personal touch to each episode.
Another great feature of The Out Of Office is the interactive map idea suggested by a listener. It would be amazing to have an interactive map on the podcast's website where users can click on a country or region and see a list of episodes that talk about that specific location. This would be extremely helpful for travel preparation and inspiration.
As for any potential drawbacks, I honestly can't think of anything major. Occasionally, their humor might not resonate with everyone's taste, but overall, it adds to the charm of the podcast. Additionally, while they cover a wide range of destinations, there may be some countries or regions that haven't been featured yet. However, given the rate at which they release new episodes, I have no doubt that they will continue expanding their coverage.
In conclusion, The Out Of Office: A Travel Podcast is an exceptional podcast that combines informative travel content with entertaining banter between hosts Ryan and Kiernan. Whether you're looking for destination recommendations or simply want to be entertained while learning about the world, this podcast has it all. I highly recommend giving it a listen and joining Ryan and Kiernan on their global adventures.
