Raspberry and blackberry marry. Graham crackers and sassafras get to know vanilla and cocoa. Washington state currently holds host to over six hundred wineries, each producing wines using the many classic grape varietals which flourish in the arid, dry region to the east of the Cascade mountains. Since the Washington wine industry began in the beginning of the 19th century, great efforts have been made to irrigate the semi-desert which makes up much of the state, and the results have been enormously successful in regards to creating an environment in which a wide range of grapevines can flourish. There are certain fine wineries in the wetter western region of Washington, although these make up less than one percent of the region's overall wine production levels. Randi, Dawn, Red and Alpha review Blood Ties Book One: The Turning Audible – Unabridged  Jennifer Armintrout (Author),    Elenna Stauffer (Narrator),    Harlequin Books S.A. (Publisher)  Narrator was good. I could tell who the characters were The story was interesting and simple The romance parts were ok, nothing crazy. Had some BDSM elements and a some disturbing horror mixed with the sex The book didn't feel complete and none of the characters were fully developed.  The series has 4 books The turning, Possession, Ashes to ashes, All Souls Night  Q & A Section Have you ever had a relationship with someone you knew was bad for you? Have you ever been attracted to someone and couldn't explain why? Has a man (or woman) ever touched you in such a way that it felt like they were reading your mind? OR felt so connected to someone that you thought you could read their mind or vice versa? Have you ever been in a love triangle?  Overall a lukewarm feeling for the book as a whole. Dawn hated it.  DeadBolt Our take: We all loved this wine. It would be great by itself. Inexpensive and delicious. Our Washington Merlot opens with a beautifully knit blackberry, cherry and spice-scented nose with a toasty oak background. Randi, Red, M, Dawn and Alpha review Playing for Keeps  (A Neighbor From Hell Series Book 1) Audible – Unabridged R. L. Mathewson (Author), Fran Jewels (Narrator), Audible Studios (Publisher) The story was very entertaining and for about two-thirds of the book we all agreed it was a really great read. The characters were entertaining and all in all light entertaining read. The romance parts were mild and would make a good entry-level romance novel read. A very different storyline and from the usual romance novel. I hated the ending and the ladies seemed to not had much of a problem with it.

Randi, M, Red and Alpha review Bared to You (Crossfire Series, Book 1) – Unabridged by Sylvia Day (Author), Jill Redfield (Reader) on Audible. The story was interesting and the action came early and often… Like the characters.  Jill Redfield read everything very well. It was easy to tell who was talking. She was able to capture the emotions of the characters. The complexity of the characters added to the story and the "romance" moments. I didn't really relate to any of the characters. This is more erotica than romance in my opinion.  ​   Q & A Section Do you fantasize about being "that" rich? Are garter belts sexy? Have you ever swooned over a man you met in person? Have you ever withheld information from your spouse because it may hurt them? Or because they may act on the info? Do you like it when your partner uses your name during sex? Red would continue on while Randi and Alpha may pick it up at a later date.
