* Veckans ex-HIF:are – Alex Timossi. * Vida världen. Vi pratar om en före detta EM-spelare. Välkomna att lyssna.

Welcome back to the Views From Lot K! Max and Steve hope you enjoy today's extended podcast, jam packed with plenty of Philadelphia sports news. The Sixers kick off Free Agency with the signings of PJ Tucker, Danuel House, and Trevelin Queen while James Harden is confirming a new deal that would save the Sixers $10 million in salary cap space. Max and Steve rate the summer window so far, as well as evaluate what rotations will look like so far this season (01:58). The Phillies consistently sit four games above .500, but are only one game out of a Wild Card spot! They discuss the highs and lows of the past week, and evaluate some trade targets the team needs to consider with the trade deadline approaching (20:30). The Union follow up their emotional 2-1 win over NYCFC with just one point in two games that saw lackluster buildup play from the midfield. Max wonders if the time for Alejandro Bedoya is coming sooner than we realize (39:12). Steve walks down the Flyers Draft Room with the draft being Thursday night. Do the Flyers stay with one of the highly touted prospects at the fifth overall pick, or is there a trade to be made and accelerate the rebuild (43:40)?  Finally, Bets of the Week (49:05)!   All this and more on Views From Lot K!   Views From Lot K has moved to summer hours until approximately August. From now until then, new episodes will only be dropping on Mondays. (Yes, this was Wednesday. The captain of Mark’s 2020 Supporters Shield winning Philadelphia Union joins the show today! Alejandro is a great guy and leader and he gets into why he passed on the MLS Draft in 2009 and opted to begin his pro career playing in Europe, how he adjusted to life in Scandinavia and later Scotland and France and why he ultimately decided to come to MLS - specifically the Union - later in his career. He opens up about his experiences with the USMNT including missing out on the 2010 World Cup and using that as motivation to eventually earn 66 caps including a big spot on the 2014 World Cup roster. Finally, Ale tells the guys what was going through his mind when he picked up the field mic and passionately advocated for gun reform in 2019. Unsurprisingly, a few members of Congress from Pennsylvania reached out and he is continuing to work to make a difference in Philadelphia gun reform and beyond.  “Orange Slices” connects the past, present, and future generations of U.S. internationals around our collective soccer story. Hosted by emerging U.S. international Mark McKenzie and former U.S. international Heath Pearce, this cross-generational show is an unfiltered celebration of our national team and soccer Americana. Also, can't forget mentioning Alejandro played in the 2014 World Cup for the U.S.

This wasn't quite the start of the season we had hoped for, but one point from a tough two-game road trip isn't the worst-case either. Aside from the first 45 minutes in Houston, the Sounders actually played pretty well. Sure, their advantage in xGA could be chalked up to playing from behind for a good deal of the time, but the offense looks reasonably potent and if they can regain the defensive form they had during last year's playoffs ... well, this could be another fun year. The guys sort through all of that and then have Richard Farley back to discuss some of the goings on around the league. Among the topics of discussion are the beef between Alejandro Bedoya and Jozy Altidore; the Twitter spat between the Timbers and Galaxy; and whether or not the seemingly shrinking reliance on American players in MLS.
