We're thankful this week for a full Thanksgiving slate of Europa and Conference League action that delivered some of the best games and storylines of the league phase thus far. In Europa, Ludogorets shocked Celta Vigo with a 3-2 in Bulgaria. How'd they pull one of the biggest surprises of the tournament thus far? We then break down the struggle of Feyenoord, Utrecht, and Go Ahead Eagles, who all lost amidst grueling schedules. What's going wrong for the Dutch sides? Can any of them rebound and qualify for knockouts? Are Robin van Persie and his son up to the challenge? We also touch on Roma's win over Midtjylland, Bologna's impressive run of form, and naturally, the carcass of OG Nice, who now sit rock bottom of the table. There we upsets galore in Conference League, with each of the top 4 league sides falling. Strasbourg got a signature win in their triumph over the visiting Crystal Palace, and we hone in on what made the fixture such an exciting watch and why the clubs have established themselves as clear favorites. Then, we examine Rayo Vallecano's penchant for making life hard on themselves, Mainz's mediocre play catching up with them, and the dismal existence that is Fiorentina. And, naturally, we give Hamrun Spartans some love for becoming the first Maltese club to win a UEFA group-stage match. All that, some table takeaways, more VAR vitriol, and of course, David's Coefficient Corner. Cheers to our old friend Vincenzo Italiano!

In this week's Huddle Breakdown Extra Time, Martin, Alan, and James dive deep into Celtic's managerial search and the future direction of the club. Alan vents his frustration at Celtic's lack of a clear football structure, asking why the process still seems driven by “manager-as-god” instincts rather than a modern, data-led approach. James argues that small steps—like the arrival of Paul Tisdale and Shaun Maloney's pathway role—show the first shoots of modernization beneath Dermot Desmond's old-school hierarchy. Together they weigh the risks of waiting until January for a new coach, debate Wilfried Nancy's credentials, and analyse what real progress would look like for Celtic after the Midtjylland collapse and the Kilmarnock response.Want to support the channel? - https://huddlebreakdown.comLike this video and want more content like it? In this week's Huddle Breakdown, Laura, Alan and James reflect on a challenging week for Celtic — from the 3-1 defeat in Denmark to a more composed 4-0 rebound at Celtic Park. Alan dissects the Midtjylland collapse, comparing it to the club's worst European nights, while James brings data-driven context showing just how far below standard the performance fell. The team then pivots to positives from the Kilmarnock win, before tackling the ongoing managerial search: whether Wilfried Nancy or Kjetil Knutsen could work inside Celtic's fractured structure, and whether Dermot Desmond's autocratic approach is the real barrier to progress.Want to support the channel? - https://huddlebreakdown.comLike this video and want more content like it? Forgive the tardiness on the release, but we're here to talk halfway point of the Europa & Conference League league phases! The Europa League gave us quests for perfection and imperfection alike. The French, Scots, and Dutch had nightmare days, losing all over the continent and missing out on precious points. We spend more time on Nice's unbelievable winless run in the tournament — with plenty of stats to back it up — then delve into Scotland's persistent struggles in European competition. What's gone wrong for Scottish football? Is there any room for optimism? Meanwhile, Germany and Spain go 3 for 3, and Midtjylland (!) won their 4th consecutive UEL game to remain tip top of the table. We share out appreciate for the Danes, their exceptional roster of players, and their young coach who may or may not get a cheers at the end of the show. Not to be outdone, the Conference League delivered 2 stoppage time winners from Rayo Vallecano and Mainz (over the hapless Fiorentina) and 2 more stoppage time equalizers. We talk through the importance of those results and marvel at the madness of Lincoln Red Imps, Drita, and KuPS all sitting in knockout place at the league phase midpoint. All that, some table takeaways, and David's Coefficient Corner on this week's show! Cheers to Mike Tullberg!

Forest are back in Europa League action, but can new manager Sean Dyche get his first win? Check out FFTV Merch! Click Here: https://forestfantv.com/ Forest Fan TV brings you the must-watch preview for Nottingham Forest vs Porto in the UEFA Europa League this Thursday at the City Ground—a huge European night under the lights! It's Sean Dyche's first game in charge, appointed Tuesday after Ange Postecoglou's 39-day reign ended in a 3-0 thrashing by Chelsea. Forest are winless in 10 across all competitions, sitting 18th in the Premier League and desperate for a result after a 2-2 draw with Real Betis and a 3-2 home defeat to Midtjylland. Meanwhile, unbeaten Porto lead the Primeira Liga and have won both Europa League games so far—can Dyche's no-nonsense style deliver a shock? Wolfie dives into Dyche's debut pre-match press conference today, where he promised “freedom to play” with attacking intent but underlined the need for defensive discipline—a clear shift from Ange's high-risk chaos. He spoke of rebuilding player belief after three managerial changes already this season, emphasising organisation and intensity from day one. With just two training sessions before kickoff, expect a pragmatic, hard-working setup—compact, structured, and ready to fight for every ball. What is the future of Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest? For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Wolfie breaks down the latest on Ange Postecoglou's status amid massive social media rumours that he's on the verge of being sacked—any day, or even any minute now. With Forest's winless streak hitting seven games, including the 2-0 Newcastle loss, fans are in meltdown, with widespread chatter online amplifying the pressure after "sacked in the morning" chants during the Midtjylland defeat. Wolfie dissects the rumours, noting how outlets like Football Insider and Caught Offside have insiders claiming Ange is "more likely than not" to be relieved of duties soon, with potential replacements like Fulham's Marco Silva in the mix. Fabrizio Romano's update confirms crunch talks with owner Evangelos Marinakis during the international break, but no immediate axe—Ange gets a lifeline with games against Everton and Chelsea to prove his worth, though the likelihood of sacking sits at around 60% if results don't turn by November. Wolfie weighs the board's patience against Ange's defiance, insisting the team is "on the right track" despite the chaos. What do you think of the Ange situation—sack him now, or give him more time to bed in Angeball? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let's debate his future. It's all happening as we hit the one-quarter mark of the Europa League league phase. Forest are hurdling towards a cliff in 6 winless games under Ange Postecoglou — are they fully in crisis? Rangers certainly are, with yet another loss added to Russell Martin's brief tenure. Elsewhere, Roma and Stuttgart are both shut out, and Celta Vigo finally get their first win of the season, and Porto remains perfect. It was a week to celebrate the teams who got big upset wins, including Midtjylland, Basel, Sturm Graz, Lille, and Go Ahead Eagles. We also discuss Nice's abominable Europa League standing, what's working for Braga, and naturally, Robin van Persie's ageless handsomeness. Cheers to Mario Kovačević!
Forest are back in Premier League action but could this really be Ange's last game in charge? Follow FFTV on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/officialfftv/ Wolfie kicks off the buildup to Sunday's Premier League clash at St James' Park, where Forest, winless in six under Ange Postecoglou, face a tough test after their 2-3 Midtjylland loss. Injury woes dominate the headlines with Murillo, Douglas Luiz, Ola Aina and Oleksandr Zinchenko all doubtful due to hamstring or thigh issues, leaving Ange scrambling for options. For the expected lineup, Wolfie talks through his expected line-up for the match, and will Ange stick with the 3 at the back formation or switch to his prefered 4231 style. As for striker will Igor Jesus keep his place or will former Newcastle strike Chris Wood come back into the fold? Will Murillo potentially injured does Cunha have any chance of playing? Could this be Ange's last stand with Evangelos Marinakis' patience wearing thin amid dressing room unrest rumours and a potential sacking looming? Newcastle's recent 7-2 aggregate win streak over Forest adds pressure, but does Wolfie have any hope for this game?. Mat and Chris come back for a bonus episode after traveling to the City Ground to watch Nottingham Forest in their first home European game in 30 years. The loss to Midtjylland compounds a chaotic 4 months since their last ever weekly episode. What's the answer? Well we definitely don't have it, but maybe you'll take solace in the fact that we're probably as lost as you. #NFFC #forestallover #nottinghamforest Learn more about your ad choices. Wolfie dissects yet another terrible result for Ange Postecoglou and Forest! Lots of Forest Prizes To Win! For Only 39p! https://win.footballprizes.co.uk/forestfftv Wolfie is back just hours after another gut-wrenching defeat at the City Ground in the Europa League, where Forest's first home European game in 30 years ended in a 3-2 loss to Midtjylland on Thursday. Despite a minor fightback with goals from Ndoye and Wood, defensive lapses left the Reds winless in six games under Ange Postecoglou—Wolfie breaks down the key moments, from missed chances to the Danish side's clinical edge, leaving fans stunned on this historic night. The burning question now is whether it's already time for Ange to go, with the loss exposing his high-risk Angeball style as Forest conceded three at home despite dominating possession—can this attacking philosophy survive another setback, or has the patience of Evangelos Marinakis worn thin? Wolfie weighs the pressure on the owner, noting Ange's zero wins in six and the mounting frustration, especially with injuries to Murillo and Douglas Luiz hampering the squad—could a swift sacking be on the cards, or will Marinakis back his man for the long haul? What are your thoughts on this rollercoaster match and Ange's future—time to move on, or give him more time to turn it around?
Nottingham Forest play their first home game in Europe since 1996 when they take on FC Midtjylland in the Europa League at the City Ground on Thursday night. Plenty of Forest fans will see this as a game Forest should win under Ange Postecoglou despite recent struggles, but should be wary? Midtjylland have won ten of their last 11 games and are currently second in the Danish league, plus they were 2-0 winners against Sturm Graz in their Europa League opener. Matt Davies is joined by Pete Blackburn and Elliott Talbot to preview the game and discuss team selection in full. #nffc #nottinghamforest

Forest are back in Europa League action, but can new manager Ange Postecoglou get his first win? Check out FFTV Merch! Click Here: https://forestfantv.com/ Wolfie is here to gear you up for Thursday's Europa League showdown at the City Ground, where Ange Postecoglou's Reds host the Danish powerhouse FC Midtjylland in what could be a turning point after five winless games. Midtjylland come in flying high after a 2-0 victory over Sturm Graz in their opener, boasting a clinical attack led by Franculino Dju's nine goals this season, but Forest's home advantage and Ange's continental pedigree make this a winnable fixture—Wolfie shares his thoughts on how the Reds can finally break their duck and build momentum. Wolfie dives into his predicted teamsheet: expect a bold 4-3-3 with Igor Jesus spearheading the attack after his Betis brace, potentially edging out Chris Wood for a start to inject pace into Angeball's high-pressing transitions—will the Brazilian's finishing fire earn him the nod? Will Zinchenko be kept at left back or would Ange be tempted to switch him to a midfield role? How do you see this one playing out—a gritty 2-1 Forest win to give Ange his first triumph, or will Midtjylland's set-piece threats expose vulnerabilities? Drop your thoughts in the comments on the lineup, Jesus vs. Wood, and your score prediction. It's a big week on Any Given Thursday because the Europa League proper is officially here! That's right, the first round of league phase games begin Wednesday, and it is one of the best slates we've ever had covering the tournament. We hit all the best matchups, including Betis v Forest, Nice v Roma, + Midtjylland v Sturm Graz on Wednesday, and Stuttgart v Celta Vigo + Aston Villa v Bologna Thursday — and predict the results. We also talk our favorite hipster showcases and discuss which big-league clubs are already trending in the wrong direction. Cheers Robin van Persie!
