While Our Host Ned Hastings wasn't real in Super Trivia, he's real as hell in person. A foundational member of the Aqua Teen crew, Ned entered the Adult Swim world with Space Ghost Coast to Coast in 1999. After working on some of the show's best episodes, Ned contributed to a very early iteration of the Rabbot episode as an ATHF proof-of-concept. From there, he went on to shape the series with crucial input on Mayhem of the Mooninites, guiding the execution of the Mooninites themselves. It was on the show's seventh episode, Ol' Drippy, that Ned joined Aqua Teen full time, contributing immensely to the show ever since then. You may know that by the fact I mention him in like every episode. Ned tells us all about Aqua Teen's new process of storyboarding, his voice work throughout the series, the production process of Plantasm, and much more! Other topics discussed include which Beatle Ned is, the German belief that Salieri killed Mozart, and the shocking lack of babes at the Aqua Teen edit bay. • Ned on Twitter: https://www.instagram.com/therealnedh/ • Ned on Instagram: https://twitter.com/hastings_ned • Space Ghost Coast To Coast - My Dinner With Steven: https://archive.org/details/sgc2c-dinner-with-steven • Space Ghost on the Donny & Marie Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q4QIpKYQIA • A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs: https://500songs.com/ ★ Support The Show + Get Extra Episodes • Patreon: patreon.com/dancingisforbidden ★ Amazon Affiliate Links - Support The Podcast At No Extra Cost! • Aqua Teen Forever Plantasm 4K: https://amzn.to/3Svy2ea • Aqua Teen Forever Plantasm BluRay: https://amzn.to/3dLcKKS • Aqua Teen Forever Plantasm Digital: https://amzn.to/3t8cqtv • Baffler Meal 20 Disc DVD Box Set: https://amzn.to/3fmznWf Timestamps: [00:00:00] Intro [00:03:09] Animatic vs Storyboard for Season 12 [00:09:12] Season 12 Production [00:17:41] Ned's Early Years [00:24:11] Ned's First Job [00:28:30] Working on Space Ghost Coast To Coast [00:00:00] SGC2C - Dinner with Steven [00:00:00] SGC2C - Donny and Marie [00:00:00] Working on early Rabbot [00:00:00] Early ATHF/Adult Swim [00:00:00] Working on Mayhem of the Mooninites [00:00:00] Working on ATHF vs SGC2C [00:00:00] Reaction to ATHF getting cancelled in 2015? Sony really wanted Genndy Tartakovsky to direct Hotel Transylvania so they said they'd let him direct a Popeye movie if he did that for them. Would it surprise you that they didn't hold to their word? The only evidence of Tartakovsky's (possible) "vision" is this strange animatic illegally leaked from the studio, which, if you watch it, makes you a felon. How much does it reflect Tartakovsky's vision and how much does it reflect meddling by studio stooges? Cartoonist Ryan Estrada joins us to look at the Popeye animatic!

In today's episode, nothing hurts more than when you've invested time and money into a visual part of your ad that doesn't work. The best way to prevent that from happening is what we call an “animatic.” We would tell you what it is right now, but then you might not listen to the episode.Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share. A question we often get asked is "What is an animatic?" This week on "Getting into it with Loveridge Digital" we are going to cover this topic and discuss the details! In this episode, we speak with Nicole Rola, an animatic editor. As we discuss her discovery and growth in editorial, navigating her insecurities and how she grew from all of it and advocates for change.
The anime story was short and quick-paced which is exactly what it needed to be. We both felt it was good but could have been better. One drawback of it was the heavy the obvious innuendos. With a second season coming out next it was definitely a nice refresher on the series in preparation of it. That being said while it was a good show the comedy was plentiful it was just lacking in comparison to the other great isekais out there. An improvised update on the She Box Artists language with three story epochs invented for this episode, never before seen or heard on any previous episode.
The anime starts off with no context as to what is going on and slowly eases you into what will happen for the first couple of episodes before it is chaotic and confusing all while killing off everyone that is simultaneously having their background story told to you in the episode that they die in. It is a bloody show and with a fair amount of drama an open as heck ending.
