Laurent est sous le choc. Imaginez : vous avez grandi en imitant vos idoles, et un jour, c'est l'une d'elles qui vous appelle pour dire qu'elle aime ce que vous faites.Les deux hommes se rencontrent. Paul, en gentleman, demande : Tu veux qu'on joue quelque chose ? Voulzy, paralysé, n'ose pas sortir sa guitare. Il se contente d'écouter, de parler musique, de boire chaque mot comme un gosse. On dit souvent que nous vivons une époque marquée par des enjeux sociaux de plus en plus complexes. Heureusement, des organismes à but non lucratif (OBNL) agissent sur le terrain pour soutenir les personnes les plus vulnérables. Mais ces organismes, à leur tour, ont souvent besoin d'aide — notamment pour mieux structurer leur gestion. C'est pourquoi, dès 1990, Peter Drucker publiait Managing the Non-Profit Organization, un ouvrage devenu une référence incontournable. Drucker, grand penseur du management moderne, a largement contribué à humaniser la gestion. On lui doit aussi la popularisation des fameux objectifs SMART. Selon lui, les OBNL, bien qu'ils ne poursuivent pas de but lucratif, doivent néanmoins être rigoureux, performants et guidés par des indicateurs clairs. Ils ont une mission vitale pour la société et méritent qu'on les accompagne avec compétence et respect. Pour discuter de ces enjeux, j'ai le plaisir d'accueillir à nouveau mon fils, Zachary Guénette, CPA et fondateur du cabinet Les Bâtisseurs CPA, spécialisé dans l'accompagnement des OBNL. Cette clientèle s'est imposée à lui presque naturellement, et il a choisi d'approfondir cette relation en développant une approche humaine, rigoureuse et adaptée à leurs réalités. Dans cet épisode, nous abordons plusieurs dimensions de la gestion dans les OBNL : finances, gouvernance, relation avec le conseil d'administration, lien à la communauté, marketing de collecte de fonds, gestion des ressources humaines (salariés et bénévoles), ainsi que le développement continu des leaders. Dvesto miliónov eur. Presne toľko peňazí z eurofondov určených priamo pre samosprávy je aktuálne zmrazených. Situácia rozpútala konflikt medzi zástupcami obcí a miest a vládou, konkrétne rezortom investícií na čele so Samuelom Migaľom. K zmrazeniu pritom došlo preto, že Slovensko, ako už tradične, nevie peniaze čerpať a vyše miliarda eur aktuálne podlieha revízii od Európskej komisie, ktorej výsledkom má byť ich presun na iné projekty. Súčasťou sú aj spomínané dve stovky z balíka priamo pre samosprávy. Podľa analytičky portálu Euractiv Slovakia Barbary Zmuškovej je bizarné hlavne to, ako nik z vlády nechce priznať, kto vlastne o odobratí čiastky z balíka pre regióny rozhodol. „Nepamätám si, že by sa niečo podobné dialo pri tak vážnej veci. Migaľ napríklad hovorí, že on na vládu šiel s tým, že samosprávam sa nebude nič brať a samotné odobratie mal navrhnúť Drucker. Aktuálne zase hovorí, že už to mal iniciovať Taraba,“ vyratúva Zmušková s tým, že to podľa nej súvisí hlavne s politickou krízou v strane Hlas. Samostatná kapitola sú pritom podľa nej aj návrhy, na čo chce vláda peniaze použiť. „Spomínajú sa kompenzácie za plyn, čo je úplný eurofondový nezmysel. Ďalším nápadom je, aby nám komisia zarátala, že sme peniaze minuli na dostavbu diaľnice D3, ktorá ešte nie je hotová a ani do konca roka nebude,“ dodáva. Navyše problémy vykazuje aj plán obnovy, kde Slovensku ostáva iba jeden rok na to, aby dokázalo využiť všetkých šesť miliárd eur, ktoré cezeň získalo. „Viacero z opatrení je na hrane a to aj napriek revízii, ktorú si dala vypracovať súčasná vláda koncom minulého roka,“ dodáva analytička. In a discussion on Drucker's recent publication, Affluvia: The Toxic Off-Gassing of Affluent Culture (Bridge Books, 2025), they cover topics of invisible labour, globalisation, sustainability and more.  Affluvia, a neologism for the “toxic off-gassing of affluent culture, explores the ecological costs of innocuous-seeming daily routines. Delving deeper into Drucker's own  ten minute morning routine, the book examines the lifecycle of production and consumption, revealing the ways these familiar objects are connected to complex networks of industrial production, extraction industries, human rights and labor issues, pollution of air and water, and destruction of human and animal habitat. The illustrated study breaks the coffee making and pet feeding into component parts, with each chapter focussing on one part of Drucker's routine. "Making Coffee" describes the lifecycle of beans from planting to roasting, the production of the coffee bag in which the beans are packaged and sold, the manufacture of the coffee grinder etc, whilst "Feeding the Cats" traces the cat food, the can and label, spoon, and bowls. Even the water, electricity, and waste products come under examination. The book is a vivid, dramatic, account of the environmental and social impact of ordinary everyday activities and is guaranteed to leave any reader with a newfound sense of curiosity for how our everyday objects came to be, and the impact getting to us has on our world.
